Extraction and quantification of herbicide residues from soil are important in understanding the behaviour of persistent herbicides. This research investigated extraction and clean-up methods for imidazolinone herbicides from soil and soil amended with organic material. A series of solvent mixes, pH conditions and sorbents was tested. Across three imidazolinone herbicides: imazapyr, imazethapyr and imazaquin, 0.5 M NaOH extraction gave greater than 90% recovery from soil samples; however, 0.5 M NaOH:MeOH (80:20) resulted in higher recovery for imazaquin, but not for the other two herbicides. Of the sorbents tested, the use of chromatographic mode sequencing using C18 and SCX sorbents provided consistent high (>85%) recovery of all three herbicides from soil and separation of the herbicides from other soil components by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). These two methods will allow high recovery of these imidazolinone herbicides from soil and have the ability to detect these herbicides without interference from other soil components.  相似文献

Quantum mechanics/molecular mechanics calculations are employed to assign previously recorded experimental spectroscopic signatures of the intermediates occurring during the photo‐induced repair of (6‐4) photolesions by photolyases to specific molecular structures. Based on this close comparison of experiment and theory it is demonstrated that the acting repair mechanism involves proton transfer from the protonated His365 to the N3′ nitrogen of the lesion, which proceeds simultaneously with intramolecular OH transfer along an oxetane‐like transition state.  相似文献

Measurement of myoglobin (Mb) in human blood serum is of great interest for quick diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). In this study, a novel fluorescent aptasensor was designed for ultrasensitive and selective detection of Mb, based on target-induced high fluorescence intensity, complementary strand of aptamer (CS), PicoGreen (PG) dye, exonuclease III (Exo III) and silica nanoparticles coated with streptavidin (SNPs-Streptavidin). The developed aptasensor obtains characteristics of SNPs as enhancers of fluorescence intensity, Exo III as an enzyme which selectively digests the 3'-end of double-stranded DNA (dsDNA), PG as a fluorescent dye which could selectively bind to dsDNA and high selectivity and sensitivity of aptamer (Apt) toward its target. In the absence of Mb, no free CS remains in the environment of SNPs-Streptavidin, resulting in a weak fluorescence emission. In the present of Mb, dsDNA-modified SNPs-Streptavidin complex forms, leading to a very strong fluorescence emission. The developed fluorescent aptasensor exhibited high specificity toward Mb with a limit of detection (LOD) as low as 52 pM. In addition, the designed fluorescent aptasensor was efficiently used to detect Mb in human serum.  相似文献

An emission spectrum of hot water with a temperature of about 3000 K is obtained using an oxy-acetylene torch. This spectrum contains a very large number of transitions. The spectrum, along with previous cooler laboratory emission spectra and an absorption spectrum recorded from a sunspot, is analyzed in the 500-2000 cm(-1) region. Use of a calculated variational linelist for water allows significant progress to be made on assigning transitions involving highly excited vibrational and rotational states. In particular emission from rotationally excited states up to J=42 and vibrational levels with up to eight quanta of bending motion are assigned.  相似文献

A high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method is presented for the determination of Chimassorb 944 in polymeric matrix. A reversed phase column octadecyl silane (ODS) is used as a stationary phase. As a mobile phase, a mixture of THF:methanol:triethanol amine (90:10:1.5) (v:v:w) is used. The HPLC system was equipped with an UV detector and the absorbance of the analyte was recorded at 240 nm. In the case of polymers, 0.5 g of them along with 100 mg Irganox 1010 (for preventing oxidation of Chimassorb 944) were dissolved in boiling xylene, and then extracted with sulfuric acid 1 M four times. The extract was neutralized with sodium hydroxide solution and the analyte was re-extracted into carbon tetrachloride and then injected to the HPLC system. This method is an accurate and relatively fast technique for determination of Chimassorb 944 in polymers.  相似文献

A new series of potentially biological active derivatives, namely alkyl‐2‐((4‐oxo‐2‐(phenylimino)‐3‐(β‐d ‐pyranosyl‐2‐ylamino)thiazolidine‐5‐ylidene)acetate ( 5a–f ), 4‐(4‐bromophenyl)thiazol‐2(3H)‐ylidene)hydrazinyl)‐β‐d ‐pyranosyl ( 4a–c ), and 5‐(4‐bromophenyl)‐2‐(phenylimino)‐3‐(β‐d ‐pyranosyl‐2‐ylamino)thiazolidine‐4‐one ( 6 ) were synthesized via a reaction of the sugar thiosemicarbazone derivatives with 2,4′‐dibromoacetophenone, dialkylacetylenedicarboxylate, and ethylbromoacetate, respectively. The structures of the synthesized compounds were established by spectroscopic methods (FT‐IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and 2D NMR) and elemental analyses. Furthermore, the effect of various solvents at reflux and also ambient temperature on the reactions of the sugar thiosemicarbazone with 2,4′dibromoacetophenone, diethyl acetylenedicarboxylate, and dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate was investigated. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this study, non-linear free vibration of micro-plates based on strain gradient elasticity theory is investigated. A general form of Mindlin’s first-strain gradient elasticity theory is employed to obtain a general Kirchhoff micro-plate formulation. The von Karman strain tensor is used to capture the geometric non-linearity. The governing equations of motion and boundary conditions are obtained in a variational framework. The Homotopy analysis method is employed to obtain an accurate analytical expression for the non-linear natural frequency of vibration. For some specific values of the gradient-based material parameters, the general plate formulation can be reduced to those based on some special forms of strain gradient elasticity theory. Accordingly, three different micro-plate formulations are introduced, which are based on three special strain gradient elasticity theories. It is found that both geometric non-linearity and size effect increase the natural frequency of vibration. In a micro-plate having a thickness comparable with the material length scale parameter, the strain gradient effect on increasing the non-linear natural frequency is higher than that of the geometric non-linearity. By increasing the plate thickness, the strain gradient effect decreases or even diminishes. In this case, geometric non-linearity plays the main role on increasing the natural frequency of vibration. In addition, it is shown that for micro-plates with some specific thickness to length scale parameter ratios, both geometric non-linearity and size effect have significant role on increasing the frequency of non-linear vibration.  相似文献
