Activity of bifunctional Pt-Dy/Al2O3 catalysts in hydrocarbon reactions

The conversions ofn-hexane and methylcyclopentane on Pt–Dy/Al₂O₃ containing different amounts of Dy have been investigated in a pulsed microcatalytic reactor. The poisoning effect of thiophene on the activity of Pt–Dy/Al₂O₃ for n-hexane conversion has been studied. The influence of Dy over Pt–Dy/Al₂O₃ is also discussed.

Motional Quantum State Engineering Via a Single Laser-ion Interaction

We propose a scheme to prepare superpositions of several Fock states for the one-dimensional motion of a trapped ion. In the scheme the ion is simultaneously excited by N+1 laser beams, with the nth laser tuned to the　nth upper vibrational sideband. After a short interaction time, a measurement of the internal state may project the vibrational motion onto a superposition of the first N+1 Fock states. The scheme can be easily generalized to synthesize entangled states for the two-dimensional ion motion.     

Polarization and amplitude hybrid modulation of longitudinally polarized subwavelength-sized optical needle

We present a method of both polarization and amplitude modulations on an incident beam to obtain a longitudinally polarized subwavelength-sized optical needle.A 4-f system with a spatial light modulator is used to generate experimentally a two-mode alternate cylindrical vector beam by polarization modulation,enhancing performance and facilitating implementation.We optimize the beam focusing properties after passing the beam through an annular aperture to obtain amplitude modulation by the simulated annealing algorithm.Numerical results indicate that a sharp focal spot(0.417λ) with a long focal depth(8λ) and a strong longitudinally polarized field can be easily achieved.

Binding Gibbs energy of ionic liquids to calf thymus DNA: a fluorescence spectroscopy study

The binding constants and binding Gibbs energies of [C(n)mim]Br (n = 4, 6, 8, 10, 12) and [C(4)mim][BF(4)] to calf thymus DNA-D1501 have been determined by the fluorescence measurements of the pyrene probe. It was found that values of the binding Gibbs energy decrease linearly with the increase of alkyl chain length of the ILs. Based on this observation, Gibbs energies for both the interaction between DNA and -CH(2)- of the ILs and the interaction between DNA and the cationic head group of the ILs have been reported. The result suggests that electrostatic interaction between DNA and the cationic head group of the ILs is predominant for the binding of the ILs with DNA although contribution from the non-electrostatic interaction between DNA and the alkyl chain of the ILs increases with increasing alkyl chain length of the ILs. The information obtained here may have application in the design of novel ILs-based DNA extraction/separation systems.

有机改性对粘土负载镍催化剂的促进作用及其萘加氢性能

以有机改性后的十六烷基三甲基溴化铵柱撑蒙脱石（CTAB-MMT）为载体,采用浸渍法制备了Ni/MMT催化剂. 通过傅里叶红外光谱、X射线衍射、H₂程序升温脱附、N₂物理吸附以及紫外漫散射等物理化学手段对催化剂进行了表征;并结合微型高压反应釜萘加氢反应,评价了催化剂的加氢性能. 结果表明,有机改性显著改善了Ni/MMT催化剂的金属Ni分散度和织构性质,且所制催化剂表现出优异的萘加氢性能,Ni萘转化率达到88.2%,不仅远高于未处理催化剂（13.1%）和Al₂O₃柱撑处理催化剂（24.2%）,而且高于Ni/SBA-15催化剂（68.2%）. 鉴于CTAB有机柱撑体在催化剂还原过程因热解而消除,其对催化剂所起的作用主要发生于浸渍过程,提出了有机改性在浸渍过程对Ni/MMT催化剂的促进作用机制.     

数域上的模糊模式识别方法

本文首先指出了现有的模糊模式识别方法「１」的局限性，进而，构造了一种具有数域特点的贴近度公式。文中列举的若干算例表明新理论在数域上明显地优于传统方法，证明本文所提方法是非常合理的。
