BiIII‐MOFs 1 – 4 were prepared via solvothermal method using four organic linkers; 2‐mercapto‐3‐methyl‐4‐thiazoleacetic acid (H2MMTA), 2,6‐naphthalenedicarboxylic acid (2,6‐NDA), 4,6‐dihydroxy‐2‐mercaptopyrimidine (H2DMP), and 4‐mercaptobenzoic acid (H2MBA), respectively. The resulting MOFs were structurally/morphologically characterized by UV/Vis, AAS/ICP‐MS, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR), 1H NMR, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and powder X‐ray diffraction technique. All these MOFs showed good luminescence properties exhibiting blue luminescence. N2 gas adsorption isotherms of 1 – 4 confirmed the porosity of these frameworks. In order to evaluate the effect of metal ion upon chelation, the free organic linkers and respective MOFs were screened for their antibacterial potential against some pathogenic bacteria and appreciable activity was observed. 相似文献

Gastric cancer is the fifth most frequent cancer and the third major cause of mortality worldwide. Helicobacter pylori, a bacterial infection linked with GC, injects the cytotoxin-associated antigen A (CagA; an oncoprotein) into host cells. When the phosphorylated CagA protein enters the cell, it attaches to other cellular components, interfering with normal cellular signaling pathways. CagA plays an important role in the progression of GC by interacting with phosphatidylserine of the host cell membrane. Therefore, disrupting the CagA–phosphatidylserine connection using small molecules appears to be a promising therapeutic approach. In this report, we screened the natural compounds from ZINC database against the CagA protein using the bioinformatics tools. Hits were initially chosen based on their physicochemical, absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion, and toxicity (ADMET) characteristics, as well as other drug-like characteristics. To locate safe and effective hits, the PAINS filter, binding affinities estimation, and interaction analysis were used. Three compounds with high binding affinity and specificity for the CagA binding pocket were discovered. The final hits, ZINC153731, ZINC69482055, and ZINC164387, were found to bind strongly with CagA protein, with binding energies of −11.53, −10.67, and −9.21 kcal/mol, respectively, which were higher than that of the control compound (−7.25 kcal/mol). Further, based on binding affinity and interaction pattern, two leads (ZINC153731, ZINC69482055) were chosen for molecular dynamics (MD) simulation analysis. MD results showed that they displayed stability in their vicinity at 100 ns. This study suggested that these compounds could be used as possible inhibitors of CagA protein in the fight against GC. However, additional benchwork tests are required to validate them as CagA protein inhibitors. 相似文献

The increasing demand for searching highly efficient and robust technologies in the context of sustainable energy production totally rely onto the cost-effective energy efficient production technologies. Solar power technology in this regard will perceived to be extensively employed in a variety of ways in the future ahead, in terms of the combustion of petroleum-based pollutants, CO2 reduction, heterogeneous photocatalysis, as well as the formation of unlimited and sustainable hydrogen gas production. Semiconductor-based photocatalysis is regarded as potentially sustainable solution in this context. g-C3N4 is classified as non-metallic semiconductor to overcome this energy demand and enviromental challenges, because of its superior electronic configuration, which has a median band energy of around 2.7 eV, strong photocatalytic stability, and higher light performance. The photocatalytic performance of g-C3N4 is perceived to be inadequate, owing to its small surface area along with high rate of charge recombination. However, various synthetic strategies were applied in order to incorporate g-C3N4 with different guest materials to increase photocatalytic performance. After these fabrication approaches, the photocatalytic activity was enhanced owing to generation of photoinduced electrons and holes, by improving light absorption ability, and boosting surface area, which provides more space for photocatalytic reaction. In this review, various metals, non-metals, metals oxide, sulfides, and ferrites have been integrated with g-C3N4 to form mono, bimetallic, heterojunction, Z-scheme, and S-scheme-based materials for boosting performance. Also, different varieties of g-C3N4 were utilized for different aspects of photocatalytic application i. e., water reduction, water oxidation, CO2 reduction, and photodegradation of dye pollutants, etc. As a consequence, we have assembled a summary of the latest g-C3N4 based materials, their uses in solar energy adaption, and proper management of the environment. This research will further well explain the detail of the mechanism of all these photocatalytic processes for the next steps, as well as the age number of new insights in order to overcome the current challenges. 相似文献

Viruses and virus-like particles (VLPs) are useful tools in biomedical research. Their defined structural attributes make them attractive platforms for engineered interactions over large molecular surface areas. In this report, we describe the use of VLPs as multivalent macroinitiators for atom transfer radical polymerization. The introduction of chemically reactive monomers during polymerization provides a robust platform for post-synthetic modification via the copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction. These results provide the basis to construct nanoparticle delivery vehicles and imaging agents using protein-polymer conjugates. 相似文献

Three methods commonly used for the extraction of bioactive molecules from natural plant material are compared. Dried Hypericum perforatum L. plant material is subjected to Soxhlet extraction, extraction by ultrasonication, and accelerated solvent extraction. We use experimental results of low signal impedance spectroscopy to investigate the conduction mechanism in organic semiconductor, zinc phthalocyanine (ZnPc). The first 10 nm, of a total of 150 nm thermally deposited ZnPc, was doped with molybdenum oxide (MoO3) by co-evaporation to obtain a 20% doping concentration. The ac electrical parameters were measured at room temperature in the dc bias and frequency ranges of 0–5 V and 100 Hz–0.1 MHz, respectively. The variation of bulk resistance with applied bias presents a clear indication of space charge limited conduction in the fabricated device. The experimental results show a strong frequency dependence of capacitance and loss tangent at low frequencies and high applied bias, while at higher frequencies and low applied bias a weak dependence is observed. Moreover, the ac conductivity shows a strong dependence on frequency and is found to vary as ωs with the index s≤1.15 suggesting a dominant hopping mechanism of conduction. 相似文献
