Experiments on the JET tokamak show that the wave-induced pinch in the presence of toroidally asymmetric waves can provide a tool for controlling the profile of ion-cyclotron-resonant 3He ions. Direct evidence for the wave-induced pinch has been obtained from the measured gamma-ray emission profiles. Concurrent differences in the excitation of Alfvén eigenmodes (AEs), sawtooth stabilization, electron temperatures, and fast-ion stored energies are observed. The measured location of the AEs and gamma-ray emission profiles are consistent with the fast-ion radial gradient providing the drive for AEs.  相似文献

Invertible maps of operators of quantum observables onto functions of c-number arguments and their associative products are reviewed. In particular, the symplectic tomography map is discussed and an expression connecting an arbitrary operator and its tomographic symbol is written down. This formula is applied to obtain explicit expressions for tomographic symbols, which are symplectic tomograms of Green functions of stationary and nonstationary Schrödinger equations written for the case of harmonic oscillator. The connection between the so-called classical propagator (X,,,t,X,,,0) and the tomographic symbol of the evolution operator of nonstationary Schrödinger equation is found. The spin tomography is presented as a map of operators acting in spinor space onto functions of c-arguments. As an example, the spin located in a magnetic field is considered and the tomographic symbol of resolventa is obtained. Tomographic symbols of hermitian conjugate operators are shown to be complex conjugate functions.  相似文献

Gamma-ray spectra from nuclear reactions between fusion-born alpha (alpha) particles and Be impurities were measured for the first time in deuterium-tritium plasmas in the Joint European Torus. The time dependence of the measured spectra allowed the determination of the density evolution of fast alpha particles. Correlation between the decay time of the gamma-ray emission and the plasma parameters in different plasma scenarios was established. Results are consistent with classical slowing down of the alpha particles in discharges with high plasma currents and monotonic q-profiles. In low plasma current discharges and in the discharges with large on-axis current holes (extreme reversal central magnetic shear), the gamma-ray emission decay times are shorter than the classical slowing down times, indicating an alpha-particle confinement degradation in such discharges in line with theoretical predictions.  相似文献

The chaotic regime in Alfvén eigenmode wave-particle interaction is identified for the first time in the tokamak plasma of the Joint European Torus. The Alfvén modes are driven by energetic hydrogen minority ions produced by ion cyclotron resonance heating. The experimental signatures of the chaotic regime include spectral broadening, phase flips, and nonperiodic amplitude variations. These phenomena are found to be consistent with a general nonlinear theory of kinetic instabilities near stability threshold developed by Berk, Breizman, and Pekker.  相似文献

There are many reports1 of the pyrolysis of fluorinated organic compounds, including the defluorination of cyclic fluorocarbons over iron to give aromatic compounds. Extending this technique we have investigated the flow pyrolysis of some readily accessible unsaturated fluorocarbons, such as I, II, and III, and found these to be synthetically
useful routes to fluorinated dienes, cyclobutenes, and furans. Pyrolyses were carried out using a nitrogen flow over platinum, iron or caesium fluoride heated at 430–700°. The various products can all be rationalized in terms of intermediate allylic radicals, and the solid substrate influences which allylic radicals are formed.We are also investigating the chemistry of those now accessible compounds, such as IV, V, and VI, and some of the preliminary results are described.
For example the fluoride ion induced dimerisation of IV gave two major products VII and VIII via a particular interesting mechanism.
