Unsymmetrical Sandwich Diphthalocyanine and Similar Complexes

Data on the synthesis and spectral and physicochemical properties of unsymmetrical sandwich diphathalocyanine and similar complexes are presented.     

Luminescence of ytterbium complexes with octaphenyltetraazaporphyrins

We have synthesized outer complexes of ytterbium with octaphenyl-and octa(para-tert-butylphenyl)tetraazaporphyrins, in which for the first time we have detected luminescence of ytterbium with maximum at 980 nm. We have shown that the 4f-luminescence quantum yield in the complexes depends primarily on the nature of the outer ligand. __________ Translated from Zhurnal Prikladnoi Spektroskopii, Vol. 73, No. 5, pp. 693–696, September–October, 2006.     

Determination of the constantg ωρπ from QCD sum rules

The ωρπ coupling constant is calculated using a modified form of sum rules for the vertex function 〈0|T(J _μ(x),J _ν(0))|π〉 accounting for the axial anomaly. The resultg _ωρπ=16 GeV^?1 is in good agreement with the estimates of the Vector Meson Dominance model. We show that the standard procedure gives forg _ωρπ a considerably smaller value compared to the experimental number.     

羧甲基纤维素钠水凝胶的制备及其生物降解性研究

用羧甲基纤维素钠(CMC—Na)制得了含水量高达98％的水凝胶，考察了防腐剂、交联剂、无机态氮素、有机态氮素、碳水化合物的加入量以及环境中pH值等因素对生物降解性的影响。结果表明：制备条件不同，水凝胶的生物降解性不同；环境中一定量铵根离子的存在有利于水凝胶的生物降解；在pH=5．2的环境中纤维素酶活性最高，降解程度最大。     

Synthesis and Properties of Tetra-4-{[(1,1'-biphenyl)-4-yl]oxy}phthalocyanines and Their Sulfonic Acid Derivatives

The template condensation of 4-{[(1,1'-biphenyl)-4-yl]oxy}phthalonitrile with cobalt, copper, and magnesium acetate resulted in the synthesis of metal phthalocyanines. Sulfochlorination of the latter followed by hydrolysis gave the corresponding sulfonic acid derivatives. The spectral characteristics and chemical properties of the synthesized compounds were studied.     

New Heterocycles with a 3-Aminofurazanyl Substituent

New 3-aminofurazans containing 1,2,4- and 1,3,4-oxadiazole, pyridine, and 1,2,4-triazole substituents in the 4-position were synthesized.     

Reactions of Nitro and Halonitro Derivatives of Aluminum(III) and Copper(II) Phthalocyanines with Concentrated Sulfuric Acid

Transformations of the complexes CuPc(4-NO₂)₄, CuPc(4-Br)₄(5-NO₂)₄, (OH)AlRs(4-NO₂)₄, and (OH)AlPc(4-Cl)₄(5-NO₂)₄ in concentrated sulfuric acid were studied by spectrophotometry. One protonated form of CuPc(4-Br)₄(5-NO₂)₄ and (OH)AlPc(4-NO₂)₄ and two protonated forms of CuPc(4-NO₂)₄ and (OH)AlPc(4-Cl)₄(5-NO₂)₄ were detected experimentally and also by ZINDO1 calculations. Step protonation constants of CuPc(4-NO₂)₄ and (OH)AlPc(4-Cl)₄(5-NO₂)₄ were determined by quantum-chemical calculations and acid-base titration; these complexes can be regarded as weak bases with respect to H₂SO₄. The kinetics of dissociation of the complexes at the MÄN bonds were studied. The rate of dissociation of the Cu(II) complexes and (OH)AlPc(4-NO₂)₄ is proportional to [MPc(R) _n ] and [H₃O⁺]². The rate of dissociation of (OH)AlPc(4-Cl)₄(5-NO₂)₄ showed a weak extremal dependence on the composition of the medium, which was explained by change of its structure in 17.0 M H₂SO₄. The electronic effect of substituents on the reaction center was considered with account taken of a complex mechanism of activation and fine details of the molecular structure of macrocyclic complexes.     

Synthesis and Properties of Copper(II) Tetra(2-alkyl-4,5-benzimidazolo)- and Tetra(2,2'-Dimethyl-4,5-benzodiazepino)porphyrazines

4,5-Diaminophthalonitrile was reacted with carboxylic acids and acetylacetone to synthesize 2-alkyl-5,6-dicyanobenzimidazoles and 2,2'-dimethyl-5,6-dicyanobenzodiazepine, respectively. The products were converted into copper(II) porphyrazines. An effect of the heterocyclic residue on the physicochemical and spectral properties of the porphyrazines was revealed.
