The spinel FeCoCrO4 has been studied between 4.2 and 538°K. Characteristic Mossbauer spectra of paramagnetic, magnetic and electronic relaxation types have been observed. The Mossbauer parameters for Fe3+ ions situated at tetrahedral (A) and octahedral (B) sites have been calculated. The cation distribution in magnetic and paramagnetic phases is found to be approximately Fe0.53+Co0.52+[Co0.52+Fe0.53+Cr3+]O4. The Neel temperature been determined by the temperature scanning method to be 310±5°K.  相似文献

The analogue of the 0+ ground state in 118Sn has been observed in the compound nucleus 118Sb through 117Sn(p,n γ) 117Sb reaction. The neutron decays of this analogue resonance have been studied from the deexciting γ-rays of the residual nucleus 117Sb. From off resonance excitation functions, spin assignments have been made to states in 117Sb, on the basis of Hauser-Feshbach formalism. The resonance parameters of the isobaric analogue resonance have been determined, including the total, proton and neutron decay widths.  相似文献

Using the Wigner-Kirkwood expansion and bare Lennard-Jones (LJ) (12-6) potential, an effectiveLJ potential is derived, which includes the quantum effects through the expressions of the effective diameter(T, λ) and well-depth (T, λ). We use theWCA perturbation theory to calculate the free energy and pressure for theLJ and effectiveLJ potentials. Simple analytic expressions are given for the reference system and the first order correction calculated. The results are quite good at high density. The quantum effects on the free energy and pressure are also discussed.  相似文献

Nanocrystalline Mg–Zn-ferrite is prepared by ball milling the stoichiometric powder mixture of MgO, ZnO and α-Fe2O3. A non-stoichiometric ferrite phase is noticed to form after 3 h of milling when particles of starting materials became nano-sized. After 25 h of milling, stoichiometric ferrite phase is formed with 9 nm particle size. Post annealing study of ball-milled sample reveals that the nanocrystalline ferrite phase is stable up to 873 K and then starts to decompose into individual starting phases. However, heat treatment of unmilled stoichiometric powder mixture even at 1473 K for 1 h duration does not result in formation of stoichiometric Mg–Zn-ferrite phase.  相似文献

Summary Films of cobalt and nickel were electroplated in the presence of an external magnetic-induction field. This resulted in the deposition of magnetic films which show, in addition to a magnetic anisotropy, also thermo-e.m.f. anisotropy. The latter is a new effect, not deriving from the anisotropy in electrical conduction deduced earlier by Kornevet al. on the basis of measurements of transmission coefficients of polarized RF field.  相似文献

While activites in flavor physics have been mainly focused on B-physics, those in model building have been primarily devoted to neutrino physics. We consider the motion of a matter-wave bright soliton under the influence of a cloud of thermal particles. In the ideal one-dimensional system, the scattering process of the quasiparticles with the soliton is reflectionless; however, the quasiparticles acquire a phase shift. In the realistic system of a Bose-Einstein condensate confined in a tight waveguide trap, the transverse degrees of freedom generate an extra nonlinearity in the system which gives rise to finite reflection and leads to dissipative motion of the soliton. We calculate the velocity and temperature-dependent frictional force and diffusion coefficient of a matter-wave bright soliton immersed in a thermal cloud.  相似文献

Heavy ion irradiation in the electronic stopping power region induces macroscopic dimensional change in metallic glasses and introduces magnetic anisotropy in some magnetic materials. The present work is on the irradiation study of ferromagnetic metallic glasses, where both dimensional change and modification of magnetic anisotropy are expected. Magnetic anisotropy was measured using Mössbauer spectroscopy of virgin and irradiated Fe40Ni40B20 and Fe40Ni38Mo4B18 metallic glass ribbons. 90 MeV 127I beam was used for the irradiations. Irradiation doses were 5×1013 and 7.5×1013 ions/cm2. The relative intensity ratios D 23 of the second and third lines of the Mössbauer spectra were measured to determine the magnetic anisotropy. The virgin samples of both the materials display in-plane magnetic anisotropy, i.e., the spins are oriented parallel to the ribbon plane. Irradiation is found to cause reduction in magnetic anisotropy. Near-complete randomization of magnetic moments is observed at high irradiation doses. Correlation is found between the residual stresses introduced by ion irradiation and the change in magnetic anisotropy.  相似文献

We present the design of a 3-dimensional (3-D) noncoherent optical hybrid network. We also report the design of a new family of 3-D codes for fiber optic hybrid networks. We show that the hybrid network allows for shorter bit times and a higher number of users, given a set chip rate, compared to previously conceived networks. These newly designed hybrid single-pulse-per-row (HSPR) codes have very low autocorrelation side-lobes and very small cross-correlation peaks. We compare the performance of our hybrid model using our codes with the Optical Orthogonal Codes (OOCs) and Temporal/Spatial (T/S) codes and show that the new network can support a greater number of users and higher data rates than those using OOCs and T/S codes.  相似文献
