This study aimed to investigate the antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and biosorption properties of starch nanocrystals (SNC). The characterization of synthesized SNC was done using various analytical techniques like microscopic and spectroscopic analysis. The antioxidant property was determined using DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) assay and metal ion chelating assay. SNC showed the highest scavenging activity of 70.03?±?0.74% at 100 µg/mL concentration. Protein denaturation assay and proteinase inhibitory assay depicted the anti-inflammatory property of SNC. The results revealed that the maximum inhibition activity was found at 100 µg/mL with 72.71% inhibition. The maximum removal efficiency was found to be 83.42% at pH 2.0 with 0.15 g biosorbent. As the pH increases, biosorption capacity of SNC were reduced from 8.17 to 6.30 mg/g and the efficiency of the dye removal was decreased from 80.95 to 36.01%. The shape of synthesized SNC was spherical nanoplatelets and it shows agglomeration. The Langmuir isotherm model is best suited for the biosorption experiments with the R2 value of 0.986. SNC were subjected to cytotoxic and phytotoxic evaluation. Cell viability and phytotoxic assays proves the non-toxic nature of the SNC.
Potassium fluoride was found to be an efficient catalyst and solid support for the synthesis of 3,5-disubstituted-1,2,4-oxadiazoles. In this work, a one-pot method for the synthesis of these compounds from the reaction of nitriles with hydroxylamine hydrochloride and acyl chloride in the presence of potassium fluoride under solvent-free conditions using microwave irradiation has been developed. The advantages of using potassium fluoride as a solid support in comparison to conventional solid supports are simple operation and convenient separation of the products. 相似文献

A series of 4-aryl (or heteroeyclic)-3-buten-2-one semicarbazones as well as 6-phenyl-3,5-hexadien-2-one semicarbazone were reacted with selenium dioxide to give the corresponding 4-substituted vinyl and 4-phenyl-1,2-butadienyl-1,2,3-selenadiazoles. Abstract We have synthesized the rhombohedrally distorted perovskite phase of LaCuO3 by reacting mixtures of La2O3 and CuO in an oxygen rich atmosphere at 1500°C and 6.5 GPa. We find this phase to be metastable; at 410°C and ambient pressure, it undergoes an irreversible transition to a tetragonal structure. By selective replacement of some or all of the La or Cu with one or more of the following elements: Ba, Ca, Cr, Ni, Pb, Sc, Sr, Ti, Y, Zn, and Zr, over 150 different alloys have been formed. Magnetic susceptibility measurements have failed to reveal the presence of superconductivity in any of these new polymorphs. 相似文献

In the present study, paclitaxel (PTX), multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs), and doxorubicin (DOX) have been simultaneously doped into the poly(ϵ-caprolactone) (PCL)/chitosan/zein core-shell nanofibers to increase its cytotoxicity for MCF-7 breast cancers killing. The physico-chemical properties of synthesized nanofibers were determined by scanning electron microscope, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, tensile strength, and degradation rate determinations. The in vitro release studies demonstrated the sustained release of drugs from core-shell nanofibrous scaffold. The cytotoxicity and compatibility of core-shell nanofibers were investigated by their treating with MCF-7 breast cancer cells and L929 normal cells, respectively. PCL/PTX/chitosan/zein/MWCNTs/DOX core-shell nanofibers containing 1 wt% MWCNTs, 100 μg ml−1 DOX and 100 μg ml−1 PTX had a high biocompatibility with a 84% MCF-7 cancer cells killing. The in vivo studies revealed the synergic effects of MWCNTs and anticancer drugs on the tumor inhibition. This method could be considered as a new way for developing of MWCNTs loaded-nanofibers for cancer treatment in future. 相似文献
