The synthesis of chemically and enantiomerically pure (S)-3-amino tetrahydrofuran hydrochloride starting from the natural amino acids, l-aspartic acid or l-methionine is described. Rigid body molecular dynamics simulations were carried out on pure liquid imidazole at four different temperatures and at 1 atm. Imidazole, which is important both in life science and materials science, is one of the simplest molecules to possess both a lone pair and a π system. These two features are known to benefit from multipolar electrostatics. Here the electrostatic interaction is governed by atomic multipole moments obtained from topologically partitioned ab initio electron densities. The non-electrostatic terms are modeled with Lennard-Jones parameters adjusted to fit the experimental liquid density. All σ values are incrementally increased by one single scaling factor. We report on how the presence of multipolar electrostatics influences the local structure, dynamics and thermodynamics of the liquid compared to electrostatics by atomic point charges. The point charge force field exaggerates the number of π-stacked dimers in the liquid, and underestimates the number of hydrogen-bonded dimers. The effect of the temperature on the local structure of liquid imidazole was analysed using radial and spatial distribution functions.  相似文献

Owing to its high affinity with phosphate, Zr(IV) can induce the aggregation of adenosine 5′-triphosphate (ATP)-stabilized AuNPs, leading to the change of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) absorption spectra and color of ATP-stabilized AuNP solutions. Based on these phenomena, visual and SPR sensors for Zr(IV) have been developed for the first time. The A660 nm/A518 nm values of ATP-stabilized AuNPs in SPR absorption spectra increase linearly with the concentrations of Zr(IV) from 0.5 μM to 100 μM (r = 0.9971) with a detection limit of 95 nM. A visual Zr(IV) detection is achieved with a detection limit of 30 μM. The sensor shows excellent selectivity against other metal ions, such as Cu2+, Fe3+, Cd2+, and Pb2+. The recoveries for the detection of 5 μM, 10 μM, 25 μM and 75 μM Zr(IV) in lake water samples are 96.0%, 97.0%, 95.6% and 102.4%, respectively. The recoveries of the proposed SPR method are comparable with those of ICP-OES method.  相似文献

We report herein five new coordination polymers of general formula [LnNa(C(6)H(5)CO(2))(4)] where Ln = Y (6), Tb (7), Er (8), [DyNa(CH(3)CO(2))(4)(MeOH)] (9) and [DyNa(C(3)H(7)CO(2))(4)] (10). Single crystal structure analyses revealed that all compounds have a repeating unit containing one Ln(3+), one Na(+) and four monocarboxylate ligands (RCO(2)(-)) (R = -CH(3), -C(3)H(7), -C(6)H(5)). Compounds 6-8 and 10 possess helical polymeric structures which are extended in three dimensions forming chiral srs networks whilst compound 9 constitutes a two dimensional honeycomb network, illustrating that variation in the alkyl group of the monocarboxylate can result in versatile and variable polymeric networks. The magnetic properties of the reported compounds have also been studied.  相似文献

We report the deposition of thin film of silver (Ag) nanoparticles by wet chemical method. The as-synthesized Ag nanoparticles have been characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), X-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), field emission transmission electron microscopy (FETEM) and high-resolution TEM (HRTEM), UV-vis spectroscopy and thermogravimetric-differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA) respectively. FESEM image indicates that the silver film prepared on the quartz substrate is smooth and dense. XRD pattern reveals the face-centered cubic (fcc) structure of silver nanoparticles. EDS spectrum indicates that samples are nearly stoichiometric. From TEM analysis, it is found that the size of high purity Ag nanoparticles is ranging from 10 to 20 nm with slight agglomeration. Absorption in UV-vis region by these nanoparticles is characterized by the features reported in the literature, namely, a possible Plasmon peak at ∼403 nm. Optical absorbance spectra analysis reveals that the Ag film has an indirect band structure with bandgap energy 3.88 eV. TGA/DTA studies revealed that a considerable weight loss occurs between 175 and 275 °C; and the reaction is exothermic.  相似文献

The two dimensional analytical formulation of scattering of electromagnetic wave from a perfect electromagnetic conductor (PEMC) cylinder placed in un-magnetized isotropic plasma medium is presented. The extended classical scattering theory is used. The incident wave is taken as linearly polarized wave. The analytical theory is formulated for parallel polarization (TM) and also for perpendicular polarization (TE). The numerical computation results show that backscattering and forward scattering are sensitive to electron density and effective collision frequency of plasma medium. We placed different types of cylinders (PEC, PMC and PEMC) in un-magnetized plasma medium and concluded that stealth capability of plasma increases with the placement of PEMC cylinder in plasma medium.  相似文献
