Curcuminoids have received great attention in the past decades due to their health benefit properties. The aim of this study is to develop a very simple, rapid, and sensitive capillary zone electrophoresis technique coupled with a laser induced fluorescence detector (LIF) for the simultaneous determination of three major curcuminoids of turmeric, namely, curcumin, demethoxy curcumin (DMC), and bisdemethoxy curcumin (BDMC). Background electrolyte was selected as borate at pH 9.6 and (2‐hydroxypropyl)‐β‐cyclodextrin (2‐HP‐β‐CD) was added to prevent rapid alkali degradation of curcuminoids in buffer and to increase fluorescence intensities of molecules. With the addition of 2‐HP‐β‐CD to the separation electrolyte, the fluorescence signal intensities of curcuminoids were enhanced considerably by 30, 40, and 54 fold for curcumin, DMC, and BDMC, respectively. The three curcuminoids of turmeric were fully separated and quantified in less than 4.5 min. The repeatability of the peak areas of curcuminoids for intra‐day and inter‐day experiments was in the satisfactory range of 2.26 and 2.55%, respectively. The LOD and LOQ values for the developed method were equal to or less than 0.081 and 0.270 μg/mL, respectively, for all curcuminoids. The developed method was successfully applied to find curcuminoids amount in turmeric samples and herbal supplements. 相似文献

This paper presents the free vibration analysis of piezoelectric coupled annular plates with variable thickness on the basis of the Mindlin plate theory. No work has yet been done on piezoelectric laminated plates while the thickness is variable. Two piezoelectric layers are embedded on the upper and lower surfaces of the host plate. The host plate thickness is linearly increased in the radial direction while the piezoelectric layers thicknesses remain constant along the radial direction. Different combinations of three types of boundary conditions i.e. clamped, simply supported, and free end conditions are considered at the inner and outer edges of plate. The Maxwell static electricity equation in piezoelectric layers is satisfied using a quadratic distribution of electric potential along the thickness. The natural frequencies are obtained utilizing a Rayleigh–Ritz energy approach and are validated by comparing with those obtained by finite element analysis. A good compliance is observed between numerical solution and finite element analysis. Convergence study is performed in order to verify the numerical stability of the present method. The effects of different geometrical parameters such as the thickness of piezoelectric layers and the angle of host plate on the natural frequencies of the assembly are investigated. 相似文献

A reversed-phase dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (RP-DLLME) method coupled to HPLC was developed for the extraction of hydroxytyrosol (HTy) and tyrosol (Ty) from virgin olive oil. In this first application of the RP-DLLME method to non-polar samples, the phenolic compounds were directly extracted into an aqueous micro-drop, which could be injected into a chromatography column without any further pretreatment. A glass test tube with lengthened conical bottom was fitted inside a centrifuge tube in this work for more efficient withdrawal of the sedimented phase with a microsyringe. The volumes of water and ethyl acetate, the pH of water and the centrifuge time as four effective parameters on the extraction were optimized by a central composite design (response surface) method. Five replicated analyses under the optimized conditions (i.e., 0.2 mL ethyl acetate as disperser and 100 μL water at pH 11 as the extraction solvent) resulted in recoveries of 104.3 and 97.6%, and relative standard deviations of 5.75 and 4.57 for HTy and Ty, respectively. The detection limit of the method (3σ) was 0.043 mg L(-1) for HTy and 0.032 mg L(-1) for Ty. The method was successfully applied to the determination of HTy and Ty in five olive oil samples. 相似文献

Neurofeedback training (NFT) has an important role in improvement of cognitive functions in both clinical and healthy individuals. In this study, variation of wavelet entropy during low beta NFT was investigated. To investigate the effect of low beta NFT on wavelet entropy, correlation between the change in low beta activity and the change in wavelet entropy was computed. The results revealed that there is a highly significant negative correlation between the change in low beta activity and wavelet entropy. The given outcome suggests that enhancing low beta activity through NFT associated with decrements in wavelet entropy. A storage ring free-electron laser (SR-FEL) is inherently a self-mode-locked optical system. The gain broadening due to electron energy spread affects the small signal gain in order to determine the output coupling. Here, the dependence of the small signal gain, the optimum output coupling, and pulse duration on both electron energy spread and loss of a Fabry–Perot resonator in UV SR-FEL were investigated. It was shown that the output coupling strongly affects the mode-locked pulse duration and the present picosecond pulses can be shortened to femtosecond ones using a proper low-loss resonator. 相似文献

In this work, some novel sulfonic acid functionalized imidazolium salts (SAFIS), as a new category of ionic liquids, are synthesized by eco-friendly and simple procedures, and used as highly efficient and reusable catalysts to promote the following one-pot multicomponent organic transformations under solvent-free conditions: (i) the synthesis of 14-aryl-14H-dibenzo[a,j]xanthenes from β-naphthol (2 eq.) and arylaldehydes (1 eq.), (ii) the preparation of tetrahydrobenzo[a]xanthene-11-ones from β-naphthol, arylaldehydes and dimedone, and (iii) the synthesis of 1,8-dioxo-octahydroxanthenes from dimedone (2 eq.) and aromatic aldehydes (1 eq.). Environmentally benign, simple methodologies, easy workup procedure, clean reaction, short reaction time, high yield and easy preparation of the catalysts are some advantages of this work. 相似文献

The observability of a charged Higgs boson produced in association with a W boson at future muon colliders is studied. The analysis is performed within the MSSM framework. The charged Higgs is assumed to decay to $t\bar{b}We study $B_{s}^{0} \to J/\psi f_{0}(980)$ decays, the quark content of f 0(980) and the mixing angle of f 0(980) and ??(600). We calculate not only the factorizable contribution in the QCD factorization scheme but also the nonfactorizable hard spectator corrections in QCDF and pQCD approach. We get a result consistent with the experimental data of $B_{s}^{0} \to J/\psi f_{0}(980)$ and predict the branching ratio of $B_{s}^{0}$ ?CJ/???. We suggest two ways to determine f 0?C?? mixing angle ??. Using the experimental measured branching ratio of $B_{s}^{0} \to J/\psi f_{0}(980)$ , we can get the f 0?C?? mixing angle ?? with some theoretical uncertainties. We suggest another way to determine the f 0?C?? mixing angle ?? using both experimental measured decay branching ratios $B_{s}^{0} \to J/\psi f_{0}(980) (\sigma)$ to avoid theoretical uncertainties. 相似文献
