A versatile synthetic method for preparing 4‐hydroxyquinolone and 2‐substituted quinolone compounds from simple benzoic acid derivatives was demonstrated. The synthetic strategies involve the use of well known ethyl acetoacetate synthesis, malonic ester synthesis and reductive cyclization. The key intermediates were keto esters 4a‐e , which could be transformed to 4‐hydroxyquinolones 5a,b or 2‐substituted quinolone ethyl esters 6a‐c depending on the reaction conditions. 4‐Hydroxyquinolone analogues were prepared and investigated for N‐methyl‐D‐aspartate (NMDA) activity in vitro. Among these derivatives, 6,7‐difluoro‐3‐nitro‐4‐hydroxyquinolin‐2(1H)‐one ( 9 ) exhibited moderate activity.  相似文献

A simple polarimetric method for the study of metals is discussed. Modulation is obtained by means of a rotating retardation plate and information is extracted from the phase of the signal. Polarizer and analyser have fixed positions, and the system requires no optical compensator and no calibration. Systematic error due to polariser-analyser reference settings is eliminated. The dynamic planar point location problem is the task of maintaining a dynamic set S of n nonintersecting (except possibly at endpoints) line segments in the plane under the following operations:
• Locate (: point): Report the segment immediately above , i.e., the first segment intersected by an upward vertical ray starting at ;
• Insert (: segment): Add segment to the collection of segments;
• Delete (: segment): Remove segment from the collection of segments.
We present a solution which requires space O(n) and has query and insertion time O(log n log log n) and deletion time O(log2n). The bounds for insertions and deletions are amortized. A query time below O(log2n) was previously only known for monotone subdivisions and subdivisions consisting of horizontal segments and required nonlinear space.  相似文献

Nanoscale defects in the outer tube to preserve the electrical and optical features of the inner tube can be engineered to exploit the intrinsic properties of double walled carbon nanotubes (DWCNTs) for various promising applications. We demonstrated a selective way to make defects in the outer tube by the fluorination of DWCNTs followed by the thermal detachment of the F atoms at 1000 °C in argon. Fluorinated DWCNTs with different amounts of F atoms were prepared by reacting with fluorine gas at 25, 200, and 400 °C that gave the stoichiometry of CF0.20, CF0.30, and CF0.43, respectively. At the three different temperatures used, we observed preservation of the coaxial morphology in the fluorinated DWCNTs. For the DWCNTs fluorinated at 25 and 200 °C, the strong radial breathing modes (RBMs) of the inner tube and weakened RBMs of the outer tube indicated selective fluorine attachment onto the outer tube. However, the disappearance of the RBMs in the Raman spectrum of the DWCNTs fluorinated at 400 °C showed the introduction of F atoms onto both inner and outer tubes. There was no significant change in the morphology and optical properties when the DWCNTs fluorinated at 25 and 200 °C were thermally treated at 1000 °C in argon. However, in the case of the DWCNTs fluorinated at 400 °C, the recovery of strong RBMs from the inner tube and weakened RBMs from the outer tube indicated the selective introduction of substantial defects on the outer tube while preserving the original tubular shape. The thermal detachment of F atoms from fluorinated DWCNTs is an efficient way to make highly defective outer tubes for preserving the electrical conduction and optical activity of the inner tubes.  相似文献

The optical, thermal, and structural behavior of a laser-irradiated dye-in-polymer bilayer film consisting of an elastic and a plastic layer was investigated by a computer modeling and recording experiment. The results of numerical calculations describe absorption of optical energy in the recording layers, the heat flow, and the resultant bump formation throughout the multilayer. Recording performance of the material is strongly affected by the dye concentration and the thickness of the plastic layer. The calculated and measured properties of the media are compared, and the relationship between the dye concentration, thickness of plastic layer, and thermal, structural, and recording performance are described.
