左手介质中电磁波的传播速度

在同向介质中,电磁波的群速度一般是能量传播的方向,并且电磁波的相速度和群速度在大部分情况下都满足瑞利关系.为了研究左手介质的电磁特性,本文从理论上导出了左手介质中电磁波的相速度、群速度及其关系,得出左手介质中电磁波的群速度为负,并介绍了左手介质的一些应用前景.     

非完整系统Chetaev动力学和vakonomic动力学的等价条件

就一般非完整约束系统，从约束方程满足的变分恒等式出发，利用增广位形流形上的向量场定义三类非自由变分，即非完整变分：vakonomic变分、Hlder变分、Suslov变分，并讨论它们之间的关系以及它们成为自由变分的充要条件.利用非完整变分以及相应的积分变分原理建立两类动力学方程：vakonomic方程和Routh方程或Chaplygin方程.通过vakonomic方程分别与Routh方程和Chaplygin方程比较，得到它们具有共同解的两类充分必要条件.这些条件并不是约束的可积性条件. 关键词： 非完整约束 非完整变分 Chetaev条件 vakonomic动力学     

Theoretical and Experimental Driving-Point Impedance Results of Resonance Circuits in a Gunn Waveguide Oscillator

The frequency tuning range of waveguide oscillator and its stability depend sensitively on the dimension of the resonance cap. Therefore the driving-point impedances with the various dimensions of the resonance cap are calculated by using HFSS(High Frequency Simulation System). In this paper the comparisons between theoretical results of the driving-point impedances as a function of frequency and that of experimental results are described. The oscillation frequency range could be predicted by using the theoretical evaluation methods which are proposed. It shows that resonance cap size and disc height have an effect on the frequency tuning characteristics of Gunn oscillator.     

Research of spatial resolution in external electro-optic probing

A new method, based on zero point of longitudinal electric field, was used to determine the spatial resolution of external electro-optic (EO) probing equipment. Considering the diffraction of Gauss beam, the result of external EO probing was simulated which was in accordance with the experiment. A spatial resolution <1 μm was demonstrated initially in our equipment using 650 nm laser diode as probe beam and semi-insulating GaP as probe tip.     

Optical spectroscopy of Yb/Er codoped NaY(WO4)2 crystal

Erbium and ytterbium codoped double tungstates NaY(WO₄)₂ crystals were prepared by using Czochralski (CZ) pulling method. The absorption spectra in the region 290-2000 nm have been recorded at room temperature. The Judd-Ofelt theory was applied to the measured values of absorption line strengths to evaluate the spontaneous emission probabilities and stimulated emission cross sections of Er³⁺ ions in NaY(WO₄)₂ crystals. Intensive green and red lights were measured when the sample were pumped by a 974 nm laser diode (LD), especially, the intensities of green upconversion luminescence are very strong. The mechanism of energy transfer from Yb³⁺ to Er³⁺ ions was analyzed. Energy transfer and nonradiative relaxation played an important role in the upconversion process. Photoexcited luminescence experiments are also fulfilled to help analyzing the transit processes of the energy levels.     

离焦散斑技术研究Kirchhoff板在动载作用期的弯曲

本文使用动态离焦散斑技术,测试板的动态弯曲获得成功。并推导了Kirchhoff板动态变形的有关分析,提出了由最大斜率确定材料常数的思想。显然,这是同离焦散斑方法所测数据直接相关的处理手法。     

Vibration and buckling of rectangular plates under in-plane hydrostatic loading

Numerical solutions are presented for the fundamental natural frequency and mode shape of a rectangular plate loaded by in-plane hydrostatic forces for a wide variety of aspect ratios, boundary conditions, and load magnitudes. All six possible combinations of simply supported and clamped edges are considered. The limiting conditions of unloaded vibration and buckling are discussed in detail, with emphasis on the preferred mode shape. Design curves and approximate formulae are presented which provide a simple means of determining the fundamental frequency parameter.     

Conservation laws of the complex short pulse equation and coupled complex short pulse equations

In this paper, the complex short pulse equation and the coupled complex short pulse equations that can describe the ultra-short pulse propagation in optical fibers are investigated. The two complex nonlinear models are turned into multi-component real models by proper transformations. Lie symmetries are obtained via the classical Lie group method, and the results for the coupled complex short pulse equations contain the existing results as particular cases. Based on the linearizing operator and adjoint linearizing operator for the two real systems, adjoint symmetries can be obtained. Explicit conservation laws are constructed using the symmetry/adjoint symmetry pair (SA) method. Relationships between the nonlinear self-adjointness method and the SA method are investigated.     

Attenuation properties of EM wave by magnetized nonuniform plasma slab coated on perfect conductor plane

The total amplitude reflection coefficient of EM wave in a nonuniform plasma slab coated on perfect conductor plane is newly derived by using the scattering matrix method (SMM), and the attenuation is calculated. Three types of plasma electron density profile, that is the hyperbolic, sinusoidal, and linear profiles, are used. The external magnetic field and plasma parameters such as the maximum electron density and collision frequencies are discussed to calculate the attenuation of EM wave. The calculation results show that the plasma electron density profile and maximum electron density exert a large effect to the attenuation of EM wave and the attenuation under the uniform external magnetic field is taken place by the electron cyclotron resonance absorption, the up hybrid resonance absorption and geometric resonances absorption.
