35Cl NQR and XRD have been investigated on the solid solution Cs2[Ag(I) x Au(I)1???x Cl2][Au(III)Cl4] which yielded NQR lines by annealing. The crystal forms a tetragonal cell in the whole range of x. However, a change of the modification occurs at x?≈?0.85. A Bi(2)O(3)-based erbium-doped fiber (BIEDF) ring laser with a 134 nm tunable range is demonstrated with only 0.2 m of BIEDF as a gain media. The widely tunable range corresponds to the broad amplified spontaneous emission spectrum obtained from BIEDF. The pump power dependence and BIEDF length dependence of fiber laser properties are investigated. The tunable range varies depending on both pump power and BIEDF lengths. Antiapoptotic Bcl-2-family proteins Bcl-2 and Bcl-X(L) have been recently validated as drug discovery targets for cancer. Here, by using a combination of molecular modeling, NMR-based structural analysis, fluorescence polarization assays, and cell-based assays, we have designed and characterized a novel proapoptotic compound targeting these proteins. Our compound, Apogossypol, is capable of binding and inhibiting Bcl-2 and Bcl-X(L) with high affinity and induces apoptosis of tumor cell lines. Mechanistic studies on the action of our compound were also performed via confocal microscopy that provided real-time detection of the interaction with Bcl-X(L) in intact cells. Finally, preliminary data on cells freshly isolated from patients affected by chronic lymphocytic leukemia strongly suggest potential applications of Bcl-2 antagonists as chemosensitizers in cancer therapy. 相似文献

Infrared spectrum of the cobalt carbonyl radical CoCO produced by the 193 nm excimer laser photolysis of cobalt tricarbonyl nitrosyl Co(CO)3NO was observed by time-resolved diode laser spectroscopy. More than 600 lines were identified as belonging to the ν1 (C-O stretch) fundamental band, consisting of the Ω=5/2 and 3/2 subbands, and the associated hot bands , , , and . The 2Δi electronic ground state of CoCO was experimentally confirmed. The ν1 band origins are 1974.172582(93) cm−1 and 1973.53178(14) cm−1 for the Ω=5/2 and 3/2 subbands, respectively. The rotational constant in the ground state was determined as B0=4427.146(50) MHz. The centrifugal distortion constant D0=1.1243(68) kHz was obtained for the Ω=5/2 substate of the ground state.
