From the highly refined proton-NMR spectra of monocyclic and bicyclic aminopolyethers, signal shifts have been observed which indicate conformation changes in the ligand moiety. Their dependence on solvent, coordinated cation and anion is discussed, and an interpretation of the spectra is put forward on the basis of dynamic symmetry patterns.  相似文献

Solutions of 1-hexanol and 1,2-hexanediol in heptane have been investigated tigated by means of dielectric time domain spectroscopy (TDS). The permittivity spectrum of 1-hexanol in heptane is characterized by a model function containing a sum of three elementary Debye dispersions, while 1,2-hexanediol in heptane is best described by a Cole-Davidson model function. It is shown that dilute solutions of 1-hexanol in heptane have a completely different behavior to that of 1,2-hexanediol. For the diol, the relaxation time levels off at a high value indicating an existence of higher hydrogen bonded complexes. It is possible to quantify the relative amount of monomeric 1-alcohol molecules from the dielectric spectrum. The monomerization rate for 1-hexanol upon dilution with heptane is initially low, but increases rapidly for mole fractions of heptane exceeding 0.4.  相似文献

A selective and sensitive flow-injection system for the determination of myo-inositol (hexahydroxycyclohexane) is described. Inositol dehydrogenase, IDH, lactate dehydrogenase, LDH, and lactate oxidase, LOD, are co-immobilized on porous glass and used in a packed-bed enzyme reactor. myo-Inositol reacts to produce an equivalent amount of hydrogen peroxide, which oxidizes hexacyanoferrate(II) to hexacyanoferrate(III) in a second reactor containing immobilized peroxidase. The hexacyanoferrate(III) is then detected amperometrically at 0 mV vs. SCE in a flow-through detector. The system responds linearly to injected samples of myo-inositol (25 μl) in the concentration range 1–300 μM. The maximum throughput was 90 samples per hour. The IDH/LDH/LOD reactor was stable for at least 5 weeks.  相似文献

A facile synthesis of 2-formyl-1,8-naphthalenediol is reported. Its potential as a general precursor for the preparation of unsymmetrical multidentate chelating ligand systems based on 1,8-naphthalenediol is demonstrated by the synthesis of the dinucleating ligand L(4-)(H(4)L=N,N'-bis(2-(1,8-naphthalenediol)methylidene)propylenediamine). Reaction of H(4) L with copper acetate results in the formation of the unsymmetrical dinuclear Cu(II) complex [LCu(2)](3), which has been structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. One Cu(II) ion is coordinated by a N(2)O(2) compartment of L(4-) and the other Cu(II) ion is coordinated by an O(4) compartment of L(4-) while they are bridged by two aryloxide functions of L(4-). A dimerization of two molecules of 3 to a tetranuclear entity 3(2) occurs through formation of weak apical Cu--O interactions. Analysis of the temperature dependent magnetic susceptibility measurements (2--290 K) established a strong intradimer exchange coupling J(12)=-371 cm(-1). This strong superexchange interaction fits nicely in a magneto-structural correlation which has been established for dinuclear bis(phenoxide)-bridged Cu(II) complexes demonstrating the electronic equivalence of the aryloxides of a phenol and 1,8-naphthalenediol.  相似文献

Our recently developed in-cell NMR procedure now enables one to observe protein conformations inside living cells. Optimization of the technique demonstrates that distinguishing the signals produced by a single protein species depends critically on protein overexpression levels and the correlation time in the cytoplasm. Less relevant is the selective incorporation of (15)N. Poorly expressed proteins, insoluble proteins, and proteins that cannot tumble freely due to associations within the cell cannot yet be observed. We show in-cell NMR spectra of bacterial NmerA and human calmodulin and discuss limitations of the technique as well as prospects for future applications.  相似文献

"Bare" CeO(2)(+) ions can be prepared in the gas phase by consecutive oxidation of Ce(+) with O(2) and NO(2). The ability to activate saturated and unsaturated hydrocarbons is investigated by use of Fourier-transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry. In the reactions of CeO(2)(+) with linear and branched alkanes C-H bond activation is observed almost exclusively. In contrast, both oxygen-atom transfer and C-H bond activation processes occur when thermalized CeO(2)(+) cations react with simple alkenes and aromatic compounds. C-C bond activation is not observed at all. Insight into the structural and electronic properties of neutral CeO(2) and cationic CeO(2)(+) is provided by means of quasirelativistic density-functional and ab initio pseudopotential calculations. They reveal a (2)Sigma(u)(+) ground state for CeO(2)(+) which is best described as a linear cerium dioxide with a resonating pi bond. Finally, we discuss the influence of oxo ligands on the chemistry of the cationic CeO(n)()(+) (n = 0-2) species toward hydrocarbons.  相似文献

Low molecular weight aromatic substances may migrate out from plastic packaging to their contents, especially if they consist of organic aqueous solutions or oils. It is, therefore, extremely important to be able to identify and quantify any migrated substances in such solutions, even at very low concentrations. We have in this work investigated and evaluated the use of solid-phase microextraction for the specific task of extraction from an organic aqueous solution such as a simulated pharmaceutical solution consisting of 10 vol.% ethanol in water. The goal was furthermore to investigate the possibility of simultaneously identifying and quantifying the substances in spite of differences in their chemical structures. Methods were developed and evaluated for extraction both with direct sampling and with headspace sampling. Difficulties appeared due to the ethanol in the solution and the minute amounts of substances present. We have shown that a simultaneous quantification of migrated low molecular weight degradation products of antioxidants using only one fibre is possible if the extraction method and temperature are adjusted in relation to the concentration levels of the analytes. Comparions were made with solid-phase extraction.  相似文献
