The conductance of NaClO4 at (25–45)°C in methanol-H2O, and glycerol-H2O mixtures in a concentration range up to 10?2 M has been measured. The association constant, KA, values have been determined, where the conductometric data were analysed by a M S X computer using the Fuoss-Aprano method. The KA values for NaClO4 in methanol-H2O are higher than in glycerel-H2O mixtures, Also KA values increase as the proportional of methanol or glycerol increases in mixture. The thermodynamic parameters ΔH°, ΔG°, and ΔS° were also calculated. It is obvious that the entire process of the ionic association in those systems are endothermic ones. The Walden products, Λoη were calculated for all systems investigated.  相似文献

The motivation behind the present work is to synthesize some nonionic surfactants containing heterocyclic nucleus with intermediate fatty compounds for improving their surfactants properties. 2‐Cyano‐N‐octadecylacetamide was utilized as key intermediate for the synthesis of some new thiazole, pyrazole, oxazole, pyrimidine, 1,3‐dithiolane, thiophene, coumarin, oxazine and pyridazine derivatives. The newly synthesized compounds undergo propoxylation using propylene oxide to afford nonionic surface active agents. The antimicrobial and surface activities were evaluated and characterized through investigations of their spreading behavior in monolayer on water.  相似文献

Monometallic gold(I)‐alkynyl‐helicene complexes ( 1 a , b ) and bimetallic gold(I)‐alkynyl‐helicene architectures featuring the presence ( 2 a , b ) or absence ( 3 a , b ) of aurophilic intramolecular interactions were prepared by using different types of phosphole ligands (mono‐phosphole L1 or bis‐phospholes L2 , 3 ). The influence of the AuI d10 metal center(s) on the electronic, photophysical, and chiroptical properties of these unprecedented phosphole‐gold(I)‐alkynyl‐helicene complexes was examined. Experimental and theoretical results highlight the importance of ligand‐to‐ligand‐type charge transfers and the strong effect of the presence or absence of AuI–AuI interactions in 2 a , b .  相似文献

Rapid direct and induced difference spectrophotometric methods for determination of pyrithioxin in single dosage forms (tablets and syrups) are reported. The direct methods depend upon measurement of the absorbance of pyrithioxin in different media at λmax i-e at 296 nm in 0.1 M hydrochloric acid, at 328 nm in citric acid-phosphate buffer of pH 7 and at 314 nm in 0.1 M sodium hydroxide. The mean percentage recovery of the authentic samples were 100.55±0.43, 101.21±0.58 and 100.29±0.64 respectively (P=0.05). The absorbance difference methods are based upon either measurement of the difference between the acid and the alkaline solutions i-e. Δ A (Alk-Acid) at 318 nm with an accuracy of 100.72±0.88 or the absorbance difference between the acid and neutral solutions i-e Δ A (pH 7-acid) at 328 nm with an accuracy of 100.31±0.68.  相似文献

Series of Cr(III), Mn(II), Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) complexes were prepared with tetradentate Schiff base ligand derived by condensation of 2‐aminophenol with dibenzoylmethane. The novel Schiff base H2L (2–2′‐((1Z,1Z’)‐(1,3‐diphenyl propane‐1,3 diylidene) bis (azanylylidene) diphenol) and its binary metal complexes were characterized by physicochemical procedures i.e. elemental analysis, FT‐IR, UV–Vis, thermal analyses (TGA/DTG), mass spectrometry, magnetic susceptibility and conductometric measurements. On the basis of these studies, an octahedral geometry for all these complexes was proposed expect Ni(II) complex which had tetrahedral geometry. Molar conductivity values revealed that the complexes were electrolytes except Mn(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) complexes were non electrolytes. The ligand bound to the metal ions via two azomethine N and two phenolic OH as indicated from the IR and 1H NMR spectral study. The molecular and electronic structures of H2L and its zinc complex were optimized theoretically and the quantum chemical parameters were calculated. The antimicrobial activity against a number of bacterial organisms as Streptococcus pneumonia, Bacillus Subtilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli and fungi as Aspergillus fumigates, Syncephalastrum racemosum, Geotricum candidum and Candida albicans by disk diffusion method were screened for the Schiff base and its complexes. The Cd(II) complex has potent antimicrobial activity. Anticancer activity of the Schiff base ligand and its metal complexes were evaluated in human cancer (MCF‐7 cells viability). The Cr(III) complex exhibited higher activity than other complexes and ligand. Molecular docking was used to predict the binding between Schiff base ligand (H2L) and its Zn(II) complex and the receptors of RNA of amikacin antibiotic (4P20) and human‐DNA‐Topo I complex (1SC7). The docking study provided useful structural information for inhibition studies.  相似文献

In this study, Co3O4 nanocatalysts were constructed in environmentally appropriate conditions using controlled, effective, and facile microwave method. The final nanostructures were characterized by SEM, XRD, and TEM analyses. The products had a small size distribution, homogeneous morphology, and crystallographic structures associated with the formation of Co3O4 nanostructures. Moreover, EDS mapping analysis confirmed the existence of Co and O elements in the final structure, and the magnetic properties of the samples were investigated by VSM. The application of this nanostructure in a catalytic process was further examined, and the results suggested that it could be used as a novel candidate for the synthesis of arylidene barbituric and Meldrum,s acid through Knoevenagel condensation of aldehydes by barbituric and Meldrum,s acid in aqueous media. The high yield of these nanocatalysts would be justified by the nature of the nanostructure as well as the experimental procedure developed in this study, which affected the physicochemical features of the products.  相似文献
