Diffusion of target molecules incorporated in the self-spreading lipid bilayer was controlled by the introduction of periodic array of metallic architecture on solid surface. Retardation of the progress of target molecules became significant when the size of gap between small metal architectures was less than a few hundred nanometers. The self-spreading dynamics of the lipid bilayer depending on the size of the small gap were analyzed semiquantitatively. Estimated change in the driving force of the spreading layer suggests that highly localized compression of the spreading layer causes selective segregation of molecules.  相似文献

The potential of a titanium metal electrode modified with trypsin changes as a result of the complex formation reaction between trypsin and its inhibitor, aprotinin, dissolved in the solution. A similar potential change in the opposite direction occurs by the reaction between aprotinin-modified electrode and trypsin in the solution. The induced changes in both cases depend on the pH of the solution, showing the maximum change at pH = 9.5. The potentiometric response of the trypsin-modified electrode for the consecutive addition of aprotinin and proflavine proves that trypsin bound on the solid surfaces reacts with aprotinin much more strongly than with proflavine. This result is fully consistent with the spectroscopically observed behavior of a trypsin-modified quartz plate against these inhibitors. The surface coverage of trypsin on the quartz plate is also determined by a near-ultraviolet absorption measurement.  相似文献

Fine perylene and pyrene particles were produced by evaporation in helium gas. The particles were sensitive to electron beam radiation. The pyrene particles sublimed under observation. These difficulties were cleared up by reducing electron beam exposure and sandwiching a specimen between two Formvar films. The fine perylene particles were rectangular or hexagonal plates about 50nm thick. The size was about 200-2000nm. The fine pyrene particles were polymorphic with a size of about 300-2000nm. The crystal forms of the perylene and pyrene particles were determined from the electron diffraction patterns to be alpha-perylene and pyrene I, respectively.  相似文献

Externally driven, vertically polarized transverse dust-lattice waves were observed in a one-dimensional strongly coupled dust chain levitated in the plasma-sheath boundary of a dc argon plasma at low gas pressure around 5 mtorr. Real and imaginary parts of the complex wave number were measured in the experiments. The experimental result clearly shows that the observed transverse dust-lattice wave propagates as a backward wave, which is in good agreement with the theoretical prediction.  相似文献

A biochemical gas-sensor (sniffer-chip) with formaldehyde dehydrogenase (FALDH) was developed for convenient analysis of gaseous formaldehyde with high gas-selectivity. The sniffer-chip for formaldehyde in the gas phase was constructed by immobilizing FALDH to a Pt-electrode coated hydrophilic PTFE membrane. The oxidation current of NADH produced by the enzymatic reactions was measured by amperometric analysis. The calibration range of the sniffer-chip for formaldehyde in the gas phase was from 40 to 2000 ppb, which encountered the maximum permissible concentration of formaldehyde vapor in the residential house (80 ppb) and formaldehyde detection limit for the human sense of smell (410 ppb). As the resident-environmental application, the sniffer-chip was possible to measure the formaldehyde concentration from some timber materials (3 kinds of interior timber and 2 kinds of exterior formwork timber) within 3 min. The calculated concentration value by a regression analysis was consistent with those of a commercially available gas sensor and a gas detector tube for formaldehyde. The FALDH sniffer-tip would be effective and convenient approach to detect and measure gaseous formaldehyde with high gas-selectivity at the residential atmosphere. Regardless of the absence of alkyl chains and conventional hydrogen bonding sites as well as its small size, 2,6-diethynylpyridine forms an ordered array at the interface between 1-phenyloctane and highly oriented pyrolytic graphite (HOPG) under room temperature conditions, as revealed by scanning tunneling microscopy. We propose a model for the superperiodic molecular arrangement with reference to the bulk crystal structure, in which the surface pattern is governed by weak C-H...N and C-H...pi hydrogen bonds as well as the periodic potential of the underlying graphite surface.  相似文献

The crystal structure of a truncated Aer2, a signal transducer protein from Pseudomonas aeruginosa, consisting of the heme-containing PAS and di-HAMP domains revealed that a distal tryptophan residue (Trp283) plays an important role in stabilizing the heme-bound O(2) and intra-molecular signal transduction upon O(2) binding.  相似文献
