The space group of alpha(')-NaV2O5 turns below T(c) = 34 K from Pmmn with all V sites equivalent, into Fmm2 with three independent vanadium sites per layer. This is incompatible with models of charge ordering into V4+ and V5+. Our structure determination indicates that the phase transition consists of a charge ordering with three distinct valence states, formally V4+, V4.5+, and V5+. The singlet formation is not associated with dimerization on the spin ladder, but with the formation of spin clusters. Finally, we ascribe the quadrupling of the c axis to the large polarizability of the V2O5 skeleton.  相似文献

Acoustic performance in ultrasonic transmitters can be improved by means of a suitable electrical driving response and matching/tuning networks. It is important to predict this electrical response, but doing so is not easy because it departs notably from the nominal pattern with the loading probes. In practice, the analysis of HV pulser spikes in NDE applications requires fairly complex models in the transient regime and, in addition, non-linear problems could arise, especially in the case of tuned transmitters. In this paper, the most relevant influences of loading characteristics of NDT ultrasonic probes on the pulser electrical driving responses are evaluated in time and frequency domains. Conventional pulse generators and typical NDE pulsers are considered. Driving responses are analysed across commercial ultrasonic probes and, alternatively, across similar purely electrical loads. Distinct influences on pulser responses from electrical and motional sections of the probes are identified. All these aspects are studied on the basis of experimental and computer results.  相似文献

GaAs layers grown on Si substrates by the conformal method were investigated by means of Raman, photoluminescence and cathodoluminescence spectroscopies. The combination of these optical techniques allows a better knowledge of the properties of these layers, with special emphasis on the stress distribution and the incorporation of dopants. In particular, samples intentionally doped, with alternate doped and undoped fringes, have been analyzed. The effective incorporation of Si atoms in the GaAs structure to produce n-type layers and the formation of Si complexes are determined by Raman and cathodoluminescence data. The lateral quasi-periodic stress distribution, typically observed in these layers, is shown to affect the Si incorporation.  相似文献

Cyproheptadine is one of the compounds exhibiting the highest activity at 5-HT2B receptors. In a previous work we analysed the relevance of the amino group in diphenylmethylenepiperidines (DPMP), which are open cyproheptadine analogues. Only compounds containing N-H or N-methyl motifs, showed significant 5-HT2B activity. Surprisingly, the corresponding quaternary ammonium salt demonstrated a total lack of activity. Therefore, the question arises whether protonation favours the interaction of these compounds with 5-HT2B receptors. Consequently, we studied the protonation influence (by varying the pH of the medium) on the antagonism of serotonin by some cyproheptadine analogues in rat stomach fundus. The main results were: 1) N-protonation increases the activity of DPMPs. 2) Alkaline pH facilitates the occurrence of a non-surmountable antagonism. 3) The contrast between the activity of protonated DPMPs and the lack of activity of the corresponding quaternary ammonium cation, suggests either that the latter is prevented from acting by steric hindrance, or that the mechanism by which protonation may increase the activity depends not only on the charge of the proton, but also on its ability to form hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The essential oil of Ageratina adenophora Spreng., growing in the Canary Islands was analyzed by GC-MS. A total of 78 volatile compounds was identified and p-cymene (11.6%) was the major component in the oil. The sesquiterpene fraction (44.3%) was higher than the monoterpene one (32.1%).  相似文献

The momentum distributions associated with both the wave function of a particle behind a grating and the corresponding Bohmian trajectories are investigated and compared. Near the grating, it is observed that the former does not depend on the distance from the grating, while the latter changes with this distance. A hydride generation gas phase molecular absorption spectrometry (HG-GPMAS) method for the determination of butyltin compound is optimized by experimental design. This method is based on the conversion of the butyltin chloride into gaseous monobutyltin hydride by adding a sodium tetrahydroborate (III) solution. The hydride generated is collected in a liquid nitrogen cryogenic trap. This is revolatilized, driven to the quartz flow cell and measured with GPMAS with diode array detection. A Plackett-Burmann design is used for the study of the factors that influence the absorption signal. The optimization of the parameters affecting the production and collection of the monobutyltin hydride is achieved using a central composite design. Partial least square (PLS), multiple linear regression (MLR) and univariate calibration are applied to the spectra obtained. The quality parameters (detection limits and precision) for the butyltin chloride are reported. An interference study is made.  相似文献

We have carried out a systematic study of oxygen vacancy formation on the TiO2 (110) surface by means of plane-wave pseudopotential density-functional theory calculations. We have used models with the mean number of vacancies per surface unit cell being theta=0.25 and theta=0.5. The study comprises several kind of vacancies within the outermost layers of the surface. The use of a suitable set of technical parameter is often essential in order to get accurate results. We find that the presence of bridging vacancies is energetically favored in accordance to experimental data, although the formation of sub-bridging vacancies might be possible at moderate temperatures. Surprisingly, the spin state of the vacancy has little influence on the results. Atomic displacements are also analyzed and found to be strongly dependent on the particular arrangement of vacancies.  相似文献

An optimization of the laser action performance from a diode-pumped Yb3+-doped LiNbO3:MgO crystal has been carried out. In this sense, efficient laser action at 1.06 m when pumping with a fiber-coupled laser diode at 980 nm has been demonstrated, achieving laser slope efficiencies as high as 74%. The influence of output mirror transmittance on both pumping threshold and laser slope efficiency has been investigated, and the parameters of relevance in laser dynamics (emission cross section and optical losses) have been determined. Under the experimental conditions leading to maximum slope efficiency, the pump power at threshold was 300mW, and the pump-to-laser conversion efficiency was 40%.
