Polarisation-sensitive four-wave mixing and soliton self-frequency shift effect in the highly birefringent photonic crystal fibre

By adjusting the polarisation state of the pump at 805 nm parallel to slow (x) and fast (y) axes of the highly birefringent photonic crystal fibre with zero dispersion wavelengths 790 nm and 750 nm, this paper demonstrates the efficient polarisation-sensitive four wave mixing involved in pump, anti-Stokes and Stokes signals and soliton self-frequency shift effects induced by the phase-matching between red-shifted solitons and blue-shifted dispersive waves. If the reduction of coupling efficiency to the circular pump laser mode or other circular fibres due to asymmetry of the core is neglected, more than 98% of the total input power is kept in a single linear polarisation. Controlled dispersion characteristic of the doublet of fundamental guided-modes results in achieving light field strongly confined in principal axes of photonic crystal fibre, and enhancing the corresponding nonlinear-optical process through the remarkable nonlinear birefringence.     

无加热氧碘化学激光器超音速喷管

针对氧碘化学激光器的金属喷管在使用过程中需加热保温且存在结构复杂、故障率高等问题,初步选择了几种可用于加工无加热喷管的非金属材料,并以kW级氧碘化学激光器为原型,以聚酰亚胺为例,对激光器运行条件下的喷管温度场进行数值模拟,以验证此种非金属无加热喷管的可行性。结果表明:与金属喷管相比,非金属喷管在不加热保温的情况下能够有效阻止热量传递,防止碘蒸气冷却凝结,满足激光器喷管的使用要求。     

脉冲氧碘化学激光器的动力学模拟研究

根据氧碘化学激光器的反应机理建立了一维预混脉冲出光理论模型,从理论上研究了碘原子密度、单重态氧密度及产率、其他组分密度和光学参量(输出耦合率、增益长度等)对单脉冲能量及脉宽的影响.分析了影响单脉冲能量和激光脉宽的内部动力学过程.讨论了出光过程中增益开关效应.计算的结果为优化脉冲氧碘化学激光器提供了理论依据.     

浅析相关系数的显著性检验

本文用最小二乘法作直线拟合,给出相关系数显著性检验的判断方法,指出了用概率理论判断线性相关的必要性。     

衰减全反射型电压传感器的理论和实验研究

提出了一种新型反射型聚合物波导电压传感器理论,并且进行了实验研究。这种电压传感器采用棱镜波导耦合结构,在棱镜下底面依次镀有金属膜一聚合物一金属膜三层结构。通过两层金属膜对极化聚合物加电压,利用聚合物材料电光效应和导模共振吸收峰对聚合物折射率的敏感特性,通过反射光强的测量来确定作用电压的变化值。实验中的测试电压范围是从-140V至 140V,得到的线性度值为0．991,电压测量的分辨力为0．1V,电压测量灵敏度系数为0．0011V^-1。实验表明这种电压传感器具有良好的线性和较高的灵敏度。     

Concentric-ring structures in an atmospheric pressure helium dielectric barrier discharge

This paper performs a numerical simulation of concentric-ring discharge structures within the scope of a two-dimensional diffusion--drift model at atmospheric pressure between two parallel circular electrodes covered with thin dielectric layers. With a relative high frequency the discharge structures present different appearances of ring structures within different radii in time due to the evolvement of the filaments. The spontaneous electron density distributions help understanding the formation and development of self-organized discharge structures. During a cycle the electron avalanches are triggered by the electric field strengthened by the feeding voltage and the residual charged particles on the barrier surface deposited in the previous discharges. The accumulation of charges is shown to play a dominant role in the generation and annihilation of the discharge structures. Besides, the rings split and unify to bring and annihilate rings which form a new discharge structure.     

Numerical investigation of slow solitons in Bragg gratings with a hyperbolic tangent apodization

This paper numerically and analytically investigates the formation and propagation motion of optical soliton in the Bragg grating.We choose the fibre Bragg grating with hyperbolic tangent apodization in the middle section in order to obtain slower solitons.Optical fibre soliton but not Bragg grating soliton is used as input pulse in the discussion,which is much more approximate to the light source for the practical purpose.We discuss in detail the effects of the soliton’s velocity with some parameters in the process of transmission.The results show that by choosing special parameters,one can make the soliton slow-down with a little distortion and energy decay and obtain tunable time-delay on a small scale.     

基于COMSOL软件下截锥体电阻的计算

本文应用Comsol软件讨论了截锥体内电势和电流的分布,并计算了截锥体的电阻.     

High power efficiency in single layer blue phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes

High efficiency single layer blue phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes (PHOLEDs) without any charge transport layer were developed. A mixed host of spirobifluorene based phosphine oxide (SPPO13) and 1, 1-bis[(di-4-tolylamino)phenyl]cyclohexane (TAPC) was used as the host in the emitting layer. A high maximum external quantum efficiency of 15.8% and a quantum efficiency of 8.6% at 1000 cd/m² were achieved in the single-layer blue PHOLEDs without any charge transport layer. The maximum power efficiency and power efficiency at 1000 cd/m² were 31.4 and 16.9 lm/W, respectively.     

Field Trial of 40 Gbit/s ETDM Prototype System over 219 km of Installed Single Mode Fiber

Transmission of 40Gbit/s NRZ signal was successfully demonstrated over 219km of installed SMF in KT's Daejeon area network. After transmission, the measured power penalty was 0.5dB for all the tributary channels.
