In this paper, we consider the non‐linear wave equation a,b>0, associated with initial and Dirichlet boundary conditions. Under suitable conditions on α, m, and p, we give precise decay rates for the solution. In particular, we show that for m=0, the decay is exponential. This work improves the result by Yang (Math. In this work we present a new numerical method, based on a coupling of finite and boundary elements, to solve a fluid‐solid interaction problem in the plane. The discrete method uses classical Lagrange finite elements adapted to curved boundaries for the field variable and spectral approximation of the unknowns on the artificial boundary. We provide error estimates for this Galerkin scheme and propose a full discretization based on elementary quadrature formulae, showing that the perturbation due to numerical integration preserves the optimal rate of convergence. The I3d5/2 binding energy has been measured in atomic iodine, thallium iodide and cesium iodide by high temperature gas-phase photoelectron spectrscopy using Al K (1486.6 eV) X-rays. The iodine M5N4,5N4,5 (1G4) Auger energies for TlI and CsI have also been measured and combined with binding energies to yield extra-atomic relaxation energies of 0.5 and O.3 eV, respectively, after corrections are applied to the Auger parameter. Charges were calculated using the simple potential model, which was also used to obtain an estimate of the atomic T14f binding energy. Two other estimates of the atomic T14f7/2 binding energy have also been calculated, both based on Dirac-Fock ΔSCF binding energies. The results of the three methods suggest a value of 125.3 ± 0.2 eV for T14f7/2.  相似文献

In this paper, the mechanical behavior of semi-crystalline polymer films in finite elastoplastic strains is investigated. A 3-phase constitutive model has been specially developed in a previous paper and validated for various materials in both uniaxial and biaxial uniform hot drawing. In the present study, the numerical implementation of this 3-phase model in a finite element software is outlined in the perspective of using this model in more general non-uniform cases of complex geometries and/or loadings. In the present case, only polyethylene films at room temperature are considered. First, uniaxial tensile experimental tests are performed so as to calibrate the model parameters. Then, for validation purposes, two series of experimental tests are conducted on tensile specimens with central holes and double edge notched tensile (DENT) specimens. During these tests, digital image correlation is used to analyze the strain (or displacement) field history during loading. Finally, numerical computations are performed with the help of the finite element software including the 3-phase model previously implemented (cohesive elements are also needed for the simulation of the crack propagation in DENT specimens). In both cases, the comparison between the experimental and numerical force–displacement curves, together with the comparisons between the experimental and numerical strain fields at different times, give very satisfactory results.  相似文献

Since 2000, collaborative studies for applying NAA have been performed through the Forum for Nuclear Cooperation in Asia (FNCA) sponsored by the Japanese Government. White rice is a main food for Asians and thus was selected as a common target sample for a collaborative study in 2008. Seven Asian countries including China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand, are greatly concerned about the composition of arsenic, heavy metals, and essential trace elements and took part in this study. Rice samples were purchased and prepared by following a protocol that had been proposed for this study. Samples were analyzed by their own NAA systems. In each country, more than 10 elements were examined and the results were compared. These data will be very useful in the monitoring of the levels of food contamination and to evaluate the nutritional status for people living in Asia.  相似文献

We have solved the Einstein–Maxwell equations for a class of metrics with constant spatial curvature by considering only a primordial magnetic field as source. We assume a slight modification of the Tolman averaging relations so that the energy–momentum tensor of this field possesses an anisotropic pressure component. This inhomogeneous magnetic universe is isotropic and its time evolution is guided by the usual Friedmann equations. In the case of a flat universe, the space-time metric is free of singularities (except the well-known initial singularity at \(\text {t} = 0\) ). It is shown that the anisotropic pressure of our model has a straightforward relation to the Weyl tensor. We then analyze the effect of this new ingredient on the motion of test particles and on the geodesic deviation of the cosmic fluid.  相似文献
