Kramer's formulation of Einstein's fieldequations for static perfect fluid cylinders isconsidered. Three approaches are followed in seekingsolutions of Kramer's equations. First, a particularintegral is found which reproduces a previously knownclass of four solutions. Second, a fairly general ansatzis suggested, whereby a class of six new solutions isderived. Finally, the problem for an incompressible perfect fluid, with constant energy density, isreduced to a single second order equation. All solutionsare regular everywhere. Constraints are imposed on thesolutions parameters such that energy conditions are satisfied and hence the solutions arephysically reasonable.  相似文献

The reinforcement of a styrene‐butadiene rubber (SBR) by single fillers—carbon black (CB) or multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWNTs)—or by mixtures of CB and MWNTs, is investigated. The morphologies, mechanical and electrical properties of the composites, are analyzed. A significant improvement in the tensile properties is observed for samples containing a dual phase. Using atomic force (AFM) and transmission electron (TEM) microscopies, we demonstrate that the double loading improves the dispersion of the nanotubes in SBR. Electrical measurements show lower resistivity and a lower percolation threshhold for composites containing blends of fillers, which provides further evidence of better dispersion. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Cortical bone is a viscoelastic heterogeneous medium which may be assessed with axial transmission. This work aims at evaluating the average depth investigated by the lateral wave for radial variations of material properties in relatively thick cortical bone. The equivalent contributing depth (ECD) is derived from the finite element simulation results for spatial variations of a viscoelastic coefficient (η(11)) and of porosity. A value of ECD equal to around 1.6 mm is obtained for a spatial variation of η(11). The method fails to predict accurate values of the ECD for a spatial variation of porosity, because all parameters vary simultaneously.  相似文献

The competitive environment of global markets has forced many manufacturers to select the most appropriate supply chain network (SCN) for reduction of total costs and wasted time. Cost reduction and selection of the appropriate length of each period are two important factors in the competitive market that are often not addressed comprehensively by researchers. In our study, we proposed genetic algorithms (GAs) for optimising a novel mathematical model of the defective goods supply chain network (DGSCN). In the proposed model, we assumed that all imperfect-quality products are not repairable, whereas those considered as scrap are directly sold to customers at a low price. The objective of the proposed model is to minimise the costs of production, distribution, holding and backorder. In addition to minimising the costs, the model can determine the economic production quantity (EPQ), the appropriate length of each cycle (ALOEC) and the quantities of defective products, scrap products and retailer shortages using Just-In-Time logistics (JIT-L). We used the GAs and a Cplex solver with probability parameters and various dimensions for validation of the studied model in real-life situations, and we compared the outputs to demonstrate the performance of the model. Additionally, to identify the appropriate length of each cycle (ALOEC), we needed to solve the model using exact parameters and same dimensions and prefer to use Lingo for this application.  相似文献

In the present paper, an optimal control problem constrained by the tridomain equations in electrocardiology is investigated. The state equations consisting in a coupled reaction–diffusion system modeling the propagation of the intracellular and extracellular electrical potentials, and ionic currents, are extended to further consider the effect of an external bathing medium. The existence and uniqueness of solution for the tridomain problem and the related control problem is assessed, and the primal and dual problems are discretized using a finite volume method which is proved to converge to the corresponding weak solution. In order to illustrate the control of the electrophysiological dynamics, we present some preliminary numerical experiments using an efficient implementation of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

Two new dicyanamido-bridged di- and polynuclear complexes of Co(II), [Co(dca)(tptz)(H2O)]2·2(ClO4) (1) and [Co(dca)2(imz)2]n (2) [dca, dicyanamide; tptz, 2,4,6-tris(2-pyridyl)1,3,5-triazine; and imz, imidazole] have been synthesized and characterized structurally, as well as magnetically. The X-ray single crystal structure determination of complex 1 shows that two symmetry related octahedral Co(II) ions are separated by dca ligand and other coordination sites are satisfied by tptz and aquo ligands. Each dinuclear unit is associated with each other by intramolecular hydrogen bonding interactions, giving rise to a 1D chain structure. On the other hand complex 2 is a 1D coordination polymer having [Co(II)(imz)2] units connected by double bridging dca ligands. These 1D chains interact through face-to-face π–π stacking interactions of the imz rings extending the dimensionality to a 2D supramolecular network. The variable temperature (300–2 K) magnetic measurements of both compounds reveal that dicyanamide exhibits a weak antiferromagnetic interaction between the metal centers.  相似文献

We aimed at preparing magnetic iron oxide particles by the oxidation-precipitation method in order to encapsulate these particles in polymer matrices composed of poly(acrylamide-styrene sulfonic acid sodium salt). Nanocomposites were synthesized by the incorporation of surface treated magnetic nanoparticles in the synthesized polymers via in situ inverse mini-emulsion polymerization process. The study parameter was the ionic monomer content in the synthesized polymers. The structure and the morphology of the magnetic nanogels were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), dynamic light scattering (DLS), thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). FTIR and XRD showed that pure magnetite was formed and successfully encapsulated in the composite nanoparticles. The polymer encapsulation could reduce the susceptibility to leaching and could protect the magnetite particle surfaces from oxidation. The ionic monomer content had a great effect on the magnetization behavior. Magnetite prepared by the oxidation precipitation method, of 50 nm mean particle size, was embedded successfully into the polymer nanogels with a reasonable magnetic response, as proved by vibrating sample magnetometer measurement. Magnetic nanocomposites were proven to be super-ferromagnetic materials.  相似文献

A spectrophotometric and a photometric titration method in a two-phase system for the determination of gold with ferroin is reported. Both methods are rapid and reproducible with an accuracy of ±1%. In the spectrophotometric determination Co2+, Cu2+, Ni2+ , Fe3+, Zn2+, Mn2+ and Cr3+ do not interfere with the determination of gold and Pt4+, Pd2+, Hg2+, Ir4+ and Os4+ can be tolerated up to a ratio of 1:1. The titrations can also be carried out in the presence of a number of diverse ions, e.g. Ni2+, Cu2+, Co2+, Fe3+, Zn2+, Cr3+, Mn2+, without interference; the platinum metals and Hg2+ cause interference but, by the use of the spectrophotometric procedure, this can be reduced.  相似文献
