The problematic of wavefront sensing in Multiconjugate Adaptive Optics (MCAO) is addressed in this article. We first focus on the sky coverage estimation which drives, in particular, the choice between natural and laser guide stars and therefore has a major impact on wavefront sensor design. Then a comparison between star oriented and layer oriented concepts is proposed. Analytical developments and optimization of the concepts are derived in the simplest MCAO case: the ground layer AO system. From this study, advantages and drawbacks of each concept are highlighted. Brazil is one of the largest mango producers and the third largest mango exporter worldwide. Irradiation treatment and its commercial feasibility have been studied in our country to make it possible to develop new markets and, consequently, to compete with the major exporters of mangoes, Mexico and India. This work was designed to compare irradiation treatment with the hot water dip treatment in mangoes cv. Tommy Atkins for export and to verify that the main attributes for acceptance, color and texture, as well as carbohydrate and organic acid contents, were maintained. In this study, the fruit was divided into groups: control, hot water dip-treated (46 °C for 90 min), and irradiation-treated at doses of 0.4 kGy and 1.0 kGy. The fruit was stored at low temperature (11 °C±2) for 14 days and then at room temperature (23 °C±2) until the end of the study. The results indicated that the fruit given a dose of 1.0 kGy remained in a less advanced stage of ripening (stage 3) throughout the storage period, but experienced a greater loss of texture in the beginning of the experiment. It was noted that only the control group had higher levels of citric acid and succinic acid on the last day of the experiment. There were no significant differences in the total sugar content between any treatment groups. Gamma radiation can be used as a quarantine treatment and does not interfere negatively with the quality attributes of mangoes.  相似文献

Metallic nanoparticles are known to enhance nonlinear optical processes due to a local enhancement of the optical field. This strategy has been proposed to enhance downconversion in thin film solar cells, but has various disadvantages, among which is the fact that the enhancement occurs only in a tiny volume close to the particles. We report on a very different physical mechanism that can lead to significant downconversion enhancement, namely, that of resonant light scattering, and which is a large volume effect. We show that only a tiny amount of resonantly scattering metallic (aluminum) nanoparticles is enough to create a significant enhancement of the fluorescence of dye molecules in the visible wavelength range. The strategy can be applied in general to increase the emission of UV-absorbing constituents, and is of particular use for solar energy.  相似文献

A new perspective on traditional energy minimization problems is provided by a connection between statistical thermodynamics and combinatorial optimization (finding the minimum of a function depending on many variables). The joint use of a new method for uncovering the global minimum of intramolecular potential energy functions, based on following the asymptotic behavior of a system of stochastic differential equations, and an iterative-improvement technique, whereby a search for relative minima is made by carrying out local quasi-Newton minimizations starting from many distinct points of the energy hypersurface, proved most effective for investigating the low-energy conformational space of molecules.  相似文献

The successful isolation and characterization of a dioxirane species in 1988 opened up one of the most attractive methods for the efficient oxidation of simple and/or structurally complex molecules. Dioxirane today rank among the most powerful tools in organic chemistry, with numerous applications in commercially important processes. They were quickly recognized as efficient oxygen transfer agents, especially for epoxidations and for a wide range of O-insertion reactions into C−H bonds. Dioxirane possess catalytic activity and appear as highly (chemo-, regio-, and stereo-) selective oxidants, despite their reactivity under mild and strictly neutral conditions being controlled by a combination of steric and electronic factors. In this review, we discuss some of the most recent and significant developments in the selective homogeneous and heterogeneous oxyfunctionalization of non-activated C−H bonds in hydrocarbons of natural and non-natural targets by using isolated dioxirane or, more generally, by using the ketones (i.e., the dioxirane precursors) as organocatalysts.  相似文献

Abstract

The dependence of beam wandering (random lateral displacement) on distance of a thin beam propagating through strong indoor turbulence is investigated experimentally. In the case of small fluctuations and within the limits of the geometrical-optics approximation, the transverse displacement variance is expected to follow a third-power law dependence on distance. Here we present the results of measurements made over paths of a few metres, both in the laboratory and in a large corridor. Inner scale measured values are also reported.  相似文献
