Crystals of barium tetrakis(maleate) dihydrate [Ba4(C4H2O4)4]?2H2O are grown in gelated hydrosilica matrix. Single crystal X-ray diffraction studies show that the crystal system is monoclinic with space group P21/c. The unit cell dimensions are a=9.3721(2) Å, b=20.5880(7) Å, c=14.0744(4) Å, α=γ=90°, β=90.289(2)°. Powder XRD studies confirmed the single phase nature of the grown crystals. The FTIR data is in conformity with the XRD results. The TG–DTA curves of the material indicate a three-step thermal decomposition. The response of the dielectric properties in the temperature range 30 °C to 500 °C is correlated with the TG–DTA results. 相似文献

The potential of mean force (PMF) for stretching decaalanine in vacuum was determined earlier by Park and Schulten [J. Chem. Phys. 120, 5946 (2004)] in a landmark article demonstrating the efficacy of combining steered molecular dynamics and Jarzynski's nonequilibrium relation. In this study, the recently developed adaptive steered molecular dynamics (ASMD) algorithm [G. Ozer, E. Valeev, S. Quirk, and R. Hernandez, J. Chem. Theory Comput. 6, 3026 (2010)] is used to reproduce the PMF of the unraveling of decaalanine in vacuum by averaging over fewer nonequilibrium trajectories. The efficiency and accuracy of the method are demonstrated through the agreement with the earlier work by Park and Schulten, a series of convergence checks compared to alternate SMD pulling strategies, and an analytical proof. The nonequilibrium trajectories obtained through ASMD have also been used to analyze the intrapeptide hydrogen bonds along the stretching coordinate. As the decaalanine helix is stretched, the initially stabilized i → i + 4 contacts (α-helix) is replaced by i → i + 3 contacts (3(10)-helix). No significant formation of i → i + 5 hydrogen bonds (π-helix) is observed. 相似文献

We study the phenomenon of stochastic resonance in a system of coupled neurons that are globally excited by a weak periodic input signal. We make the realistic assumption that the chemical and electrical synapses interact in the same neuronal network, hence constituting a hybrid network. By considering a hybrid coupling scheme embedded in the scale-free topology, we show that the electrical synapses are more efficient than chemical synapses in promoting the best correlation between the weak input signal and the response of the system. We also demonstrate that the average degree of neurons within the hybrid scale-free network significantly influences the optimal amount of noise for the occurrence of stochastic resonance, indicating that there also exists an optimal topology for the amplification of the response to the weak input signal. Lastly, we verify that the presented results are robust to variations of the system size. 相似文献

Preparation and Optical Characterization of Sol-Gel Deposited Pb(Zr0.45Ti0.55)O3 Films 总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
Homogeneous crack-free lead zirconate titanate (Pb(Zr0.45Ti0.55)O3: PZT 45/55) films were prepared by a chemically modified sol-gel process using lead acetate trihydrate, zirconium n-propoxide, and titanium isopropoxide precursors. The coating solutions were modified by the addition of diethanolamine. Single and multilayer films were deposited with a 2000 rpm spin rate on fused silica and MgO(100) substrates. Multiple spin coating with an intermediate heat treatment in air at 400°C for 3 min between coatings was performed to obtain films up to 2 m in thickness. The formation of the tetragonal perovskite structure was found to depend on the intermediate firing temperature, final annealing temperature, and annealing time. A 650°C rapid thermal annealing treatment in oxygen was required to crystallize the PZT film into the perovskite structure. The films were characterized using optical spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and thermo-gravimetry and differential scanning calorimetry (TG-DSC). We consider shallow water theory to study the self-similar gravity currents that describe the motion of a heavy fluid flowing into another lighter ambient fluid. Gratton and Vigo investigated the shallow water theory representing the self-similar gravity currents by using dimensional analysis [J. Gratton, C. Vigo, Self-similarity gravity currents with variable inflow revisited: Plane currents, J. Fluid. Mech. 258 (1994) 77–104]. But in this study, the self-similarity solutions of the one-layer shallow-water equations representing gravity currents are investigated by using Lie group analysis and it is shown that Lie group analysis is the generalization of the dimensional analysis for investigating the self-similarity solutions of the one-layer shallow-water equations. Applying Lie group theory, reduced equations of the shallow water equations are found. Therefore, it becomes possible to obtain the similarity forms depending on the Lie group parameters and also the self-similarity solutions for the special values of these group parameters. 相似文献

Sunflower agriculture is an important subsector that plays a key role in the economy of Turkey, contributing 1.38 million tonnes. The aim of this study is to investigate the levels of imidazolinone (IMI) group herbicides in Thrace Region, Turkey. In particular, we aimed to determine the residue levels of imazamox, a herbicide used in sunflower production in Thrace Region, in soil, different parts of plant, and seed. Five herbicides were identified in sunflower samples using solid–liquid extraction with gas chromatography–electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (GC–EI–MS) on single-quadruple instruments in selected ion monitoring (SIM) mode. The optimized conditions were found to be mobile-phase flow rate of 1 mL min?1 and injection volume of 3 μL in programmed temperature vaporization (PTV) solvent vent mode. The recovery of imazamox, imazaquin, imazethapyr, imazapyr, and imazapic from sunflower plant and soil was 89 and 99, 104 and 105, 92 and 93, 96 and 92, and 99 and 96%, respectively. 相似文献

Proton conducting tantalum oxide films were deposited on ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) coated glass, fused silica and soda-lime glass
substrates by spin coating using a sol-gel process. The coating solutions were prepared using Ta(OC2H5)5 as a precursor. X-ray diffraction studies determined that the sol-gel films, heat treated at temperatures below 400°C, were
amorphous. Films heat treated at higher temperatures were crystalline with the hexagonal δ-Ta2O5 structure. The solar transmission values (T

) of tantala films on glass generally range from 0.8–0.9, depending on thickness. The refractive index and the extinction
coefficient were evaluated from transmittance characteristics in the UV-VIS-NIR regions. The refractive index values calculated
at λ=550 nm increased fromn=1.78 to 1.97 with increasing heat treatment from 150 to 450°C. The films heat treated at different temperatures showed low
absorption, with extinction coefficients of smaller thank=1×10−3 in the visible range. Impedance spectroscopic investigations performed on Ta2O5 films revealed that these films have a protonic conductivity of 3.2×10−4S/m.
