alpha-Diazoketones possess high electric dipole moments, as a consequence of the dipolar nature of the diazocarbonyl functional group. The vectorial analysis, theoretical calculations (PM3 and ab initio), and literature reports based on experimental and theoretical calculations reveal a higher dipole moment for the Z-configuration of the diazo functional group. Microwave irradiation of alpha-diazoketone (1a-m) (Figure 1) promotes Wolff rearrangement specifically via the Z-configuration in excellent yields. The dielectric properties of the solvent govern the course of the microwave rearrangement. 3-Diazocamphor (1m) on microwave irradiation in benzylamine exhibits nonthermal effects to furnish exclusively the Wolff rearrangement product (4m), equivalent to its photochemical behavior. In the presence of an aqueous medium, through solvent heating predominates, leading to the formation of a tricyclic ketone (5) as the principal product, arising from an intramolecular C-H insertion. This behavior is similar to its known thermal and transition metal catalyzed reactivity pattern.  相似文献

The effect of ion beam induced atomic mixing and subsequent thermal transformations at the Fe:Al2O3 interface have been investigated by means of conversion electron Mössbauer spectroscopy [CEMS]. It is shown that the asdeposited and ion beam mixed samples exhibit distinctly different features. In particular, the ion beam mixed sample in as-mixed state shows the presence of FeAl2O4 along with non-stoichiometric FeO. Upon annealing at 600°C it shows precipitation of α-Fe with reduced contribution of FeAl2O4. The study of dose dependence of ion beam mixing has also revealed interesting features regarding the ion beam induced interface reactions.  相似文献

The Einstein equation with T = k k + where k, l are null is considered with spherical symmetry and staticity. The solution has a naked singularity and is not asymptotically flat. The therapeutic drug monitoring of paroxetine could be used to optimize the pharmacological treatment of depressed patients. A simple and sensitive high‐performance liquid chromatography procedure was developed for the determination of paroxetine in serum. After simple pretreatment of serum (50 μL) with acetonitrile and o‐phthalaldehyde, paroxetine was derivatized with 4‐(5,6‐dimethoxy‐2‐phthalimidinyl)‐2‐methoxyphenylsulfonyl chloride at 70°C for 20 min in borate buffer (0.1 mol/L, pH 8.0) to produce a fluorescent product. The derivative was separated on a reversed‐phase column at 40°C for stepwise elution with (A) acetic acid (10 mmol/L) and (B) acetonitrile. The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min. The fluorescence intensity was monitored at excitation and emission wavelengths of 320 and 400 nm, respectively. The within‐day and day‐to‐day relative standard deviations were 3.0–3.4 and 2.7–8.3%, respectively. The detection limit of paroxetine was 8.3 fmol at a signal‐to‐noise ratio of 3. As the proposed method that only requires a small quantity of serum (50 μL) is simple, sensitive and reproducible, it would be useful for clinical and biochemical research as well as drug monitoring. Background

Junctional adhesion molecule-A (JAM-A) is an adhesive protein expressed in various cell types. JAM-A localizes to the tight junctions between contacting endothelial and epithelial cells, where it contributes to cell-cell adhesion and to the control of paracellular permeability.

Results

So far, the expression pattern of JAM-A has not been described in detail for the different cell types of the adult brain. Here we show that a subset of proliferating cells in the adult mouse brain express JAM-A. We further clarify that these cells belong to the lineage of NG2-glia cells. Although these mitotic NG2-glia cells express JAM-A, the protein never shows a polarized subcellular distribution. Also non-mitotic NG2-glia cells express JAM-A in a non-polarized pattern on their surface.

Conclusions

Our data show that JAM-A is a novel surface marker for NG2-glia cells of the adult brain.  相似文献

A network with its arc lengths as imprecise number, instead of a real number, namely, interval number and triangular fuzzy number is considered here. Existing ideas on addition and comparison between two imprecise numbers of same type are introduced. To obtain a fuzzy shortest path from a source vertex to all other vertices, a common algorithm is developed which works well on both types of imprecise numbers under consideration. In the proposed algorithm, a decision-maker is to negotiate with the obtained fuzzy shortest paths according to his/her view only when the means are same but the widths are different of the obtained paths. Otherwise, a fuzzy optimal path is obtained to which the decision-maker always satisfies with different grades of satisfaction. All pairs fuzzy shortest paths can be found by repeated use of the proposed algorithm.  相似文献
