Surface characterization of new unused PTFE, PFA and PVDF labware has been carried out by light microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, profilometry and atomic force microscopy. It has been found that in spite of higher micro-roughness, PFA exhibits the lowest nano-roughness and hence seems best suited as vessel material for relatively mild pressureless chemical operations for sample preparation of ultrapure substances, as container material for storage of ultrapure liquids, and for transport of such liquids, e.g., from the producer in the chemical to the end user in the microelectronics industry. This suitability refers only to the surface quality of the investigated materials. PTFE-surfaces, due to the sintering process of production, exhibit the most unfavourable surface quality of the investigated fluorinated polymers. 相似文献

Summary The liquid-liquid extraction of Mo(VI) from different acid solutions by zinc diethyldithiocarbamate in chloroform is described. This extractant allows the separation of nanogram to milligram quantities of Mo from even gram quantities of many other elements. The separation of Mo can be made selective by appropriate choice of the composition of the aqueous phase, by back-extraction of Mo and/or the coextracted elements, and by masking Mo with hydrogen peroxide. These techniques were adapted for the determination of Mo in several reference materials by radiochemical neutron activation analysis via 99Mo. 相似文献

Magnetic and superconducting properties of Fe/Nb epitaxial bilayers have been studied. Single crystal Fe/Nb (110) bilayers with a Nb thicknessd Nb in the range from 250 to 650 Å and with a Fe thicknessd Fe in the range from 7 to 27 Å were prepared using molecular beam epitaxy techniques. Magnetization measurements showed the existence of a magnetically “dead” Fe-interface layer with a thicknessd NM varying strongly with minor modifications of the growth conditions. For bilayers with a small magnetic layer thicknessd M and a smalld NM the FMR measurements revealed an anomalous decrease of the effective magnetization 4πM eff of the ferromagnetic Fe layer below the superconducting transition temperatureT c. The absolute change of 4πM eff belowT c depends strongly on the actual values ofd M andd NM: upon decreasing bothd M andd NM the effect increases considerably. As a possible mechanism for the anomalous temperature dependence of 4πM eff belowT c we discuss a spatial modulation of ferromagnetic order due to a modification of the RKKY inter-action in the superconducting state. 相似文献

Weak-signal methods are used to study long-term changes in the electrophysical and photoelectric properties of Si-SiO2 systems of n- and p-type semiconductors after the action of a steady magnetic field of 102 Oe. It is found that the field electrode can produce regions characterized by the anomalous recombination, migration, and
transformation of nonequilibrium charge carriers, leading to a quasi-oscillating change in the recombination activity of the
semiconducting system. It is observed that the magnetically induced changes in the system depend on the impurity of composition
of the semiconductor. The results obtained are attributed to the decomposition of the growth structures of complexes and subsequent
clustering of the decomposition products at elastic stress sinks.

We study the variety of divisors of a polynomial operator bundle and the action of the natural symmetry group on it—the group of invertible operators that commute with the linearizer of the bundle. It is established that the orbits can be parametrized by standard Young tableaux whose form and weight depend on the spectral parameters of the bundle and its divisors. We obtain new formulas for the transformations of Wiener path integrals corresponding to the parabolic systems of two differential equations with time-dependent coefficients in one-dimensional space. These formulas determine the transformation of the path integrals under a rheonomous-homogeneous-pointwise transformation of integration variables and the path reparameterization transformation. These formulas allow us to obtain an integral relation between the Green's functions of related systems of differential equations. We show how to obtain the generalized Shepp formula from this relation for the path integral under consideration. Light transmission of nematic liquid crystals dispersed in a polymeric matrix is investigated. The paper gives a theoretical analysis of light transmission by the liquid crystal-polymer and liquid crystaldye-polymer systems based on determination of the total cross section of extinction.
