Six new ceramide dihexosides, amphimelibiosides A-F (1-6), were isolated from a Japanese marine sponge Amphimedon sp. The structure of amphimelibioside C (3), which is a major component of amphimelibiosides, was determined by 2D NMR techniques, chemical degradation, and a semisynthetic method to be 1-O-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->6)-alpha-D-galactopyranosyl]-(2S,3S,4R,6E)-2-[(2'R)-2-hydroxydocosanoyl]-2-amino-6-octadecene-1,3,4-triol. The structures of the other constituents were elucidated by a combination of mass spectra, (1)H NMR, and GC-MS analysis.  相似文献

With respect to the hydrolysis (deacylation) of Z-D(L)-amino acid esters (N-(benzyloxycarbonyl)-D(L)-amino acid p-nitrophenyl esters) mediated by alpha-, beta- and gamma-cyclodextrins (CyDs), a remarkably high enantioselectivity (L/D=9.0) was observed for the deacylation of Ala substrate with gamma-CyD. The kinetic results on the basis of the Michaelis-Menten principle indicate that the enantioselectivity should be mainly originated in the deacylation process of substrates following the formation of gamma-CyD-substrate (1 : 1) complexes. The computer modeling (molecular mechanics) studies on the inclusion complexes are also described.  相似文献

The energy and oscillator strength of electronic transitions of chlorophyll (Chl)-amino acid complexes were calculated by using molecular orbital methods. The energies varied widely with coordinated amino acids and the difference between the maximum and minimum energy was about 830 cm-1. This energy difference was comparable with the spreading of absorption bands for light-harvesting Chl-protein complexes of photosystem II (LHC II) of green plants. The feature of the Qy band for pea LHC II was interpreted with the aid of the calculated energies and oscillator strengths. Four spectral components of the band were assigned to individual Chl-amino acid complexes.  相似文献

The isothermal curing process of thin epoxy adhesive layers (mixture of a bisphenol A-based epoxy prepolymer and an aliphatic diamine curing agent) has been investigated. The Brillouin scattering technique with 90 degrees A scattering geometry enables simultaneous measurements of longitudinal and shear wave properties in the GHz range. Observed longitudinal and shear wave velocities showed similar changes during cure. They rapidly increased and gradually became constant, reflecting the elastic changes of the epoxy layer. The final velocities, however, clearly depended on the curing temperature. Taking the glass transition process of epoxy resins into consideration, these curing behaviors in thin layers are discussed.  相似文献

This paper deals with a scalar plane wave scattering from a thin film with two-dimensional fluctuation by means of the stochastic functional approach. The refractive index of the thin film is written as a Gaussian random field in the transverse directions with infinite extent, and is invariant in the longitudinal direction with finite thickness. An explicit form of the random wavefield involving effects of multiple scattering is obtained in terms of a Wiener-Hermite expansion under small fluctuation. The first- and second-order incoherent scattering cross-sections are calculated numerically and illustrated in figures. In the incoherent scattering, scattering ring, quasi-anomalous scattering, enhanced scattering and gentle enhanced scattering may occur.  相似文献

In this paper, implementation and visualization of scientific arts are described using some examples of application in subject research areas, such as sculpture, archeology, fine arts and information aesthetics, which have been discussed through the Scientific Art Session at FLUCOME9, Tallahassee, Florida, 2007–9. In the application to sculpture, stereo visualization techniques, such as anaglyph stereo visualization and integral imaging technique, are introduced to realize the three-dimensional geometry of sculpture to enhance visual impact on the art. The second application is the flow visualization technique for archeology, where the vortices behind the river stones are studied to understand the origin of patterns on Jomon pottery. Interestingly, such vortex patterns also appear in the paintings of fine arts. The third example is the visualization of information aesthetics, where the Web information, such as public media and stock market, are visualized through scientific techniques. These examples of visualization of scientific arts provide the present state of the art in interdisciplinary visualization.  相似文献

Polarized infrared spectroscopy was applied to evaluate the orientation distribution in extrusion-molded sheets of a liquid-crystalline copolyester consisting of 73 mol % of 4-hydroxy benzoic acid units and 27 mol % of 2-hydroxy-6-naphthoic acid units. The surface orientation function was evaluated from the polarized attenuated total reflection/Fourier transform infrared spectra and the polarized specular reflection spectra. In the case of the specular reflection method, the absorption and refractive indices were obtained from the specular reflectance using the Kramers–Kronig relation and the Fresnel equation. On the other hand, the microscopic orientation functions inside the sheets were evaluated by Fourier-transform infrared microspectroscopy. The polarized FTIR microspectra of microtomed section of sheets were measured in a microscopic domain as small as 40 μ at various positions from the center of the sheet. The surface orientation function was shown to be higher than the interior orientation function. Orientation functions obtained by the spectroscopic techniques are lower than crystal orientation functions determined by wide-angle x-ray diffraction, implying that the crystal orientation function is higher than the orientation function of noncrystalline molecular chains. The orientation distribution in the sheet is discussed in relation to the morphological structures studied by scanning electron microscopy. © John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

A loading effect on a-c potential difference measured for two-dimensional stationary surface crack is examined under opening load without shear. An increment of potential difference caused by a load change is revealed to have a proportional relationship with an increment of the stress-intensity factor,K I. Also, the constant of proportionality of the relationship is found to be independent of the crack length. Based on this relationship, a procedure is developed for measurement ofK Iby means of the a-c potential drop technique.  相似文献
