2'-Beta-methyl- and 2'-beta-hydroxymethyl-2'-deoxy-4'-thionucleosides have been synthesized through PhSeCl-mediated electrophilic glycosidation using 4-thiofuranoid glycals having carbon substituents at the C2-position as a glycosyl donor. Preparation of these glycals were carried out by means of the C2 lithiation of 1-chloro-4-thiofuranoid glycal with LTMP followed by the Birch reduction of the chlorine atom. The adsorption structure of methylthiolate (CH3S) adsorbed on Au(111), a long-standing controversial issue, has been unambiguously determined by scanned-energy and scanned-angle S 2p photoelectron diffraction. The methylthiolate molecules are found to occupy atop sites with a S-Au distance of 2.42 +/- 0.03 A. The angular distribution of the S 2p photoelectrons due to forward scattering reveals that the S-C bond is inclined by approximately 50 degrees from the surface normal towards both the [211] and [121] (nearest-neighbor thiolate) directions.  相似文献

We have investigated terahertz emission due to dynamical electron transport in wide-miniband GaAs/Al(0.3)Ga0.7As superlattices. By noting that the time-domain THz emission spectroscopy inherently measures the step-response of the electron system to the bias electric field, the obtained THz spectra were compared with the high-frequency conductivities predicted for miniband transport. Excellent agreement between theory and experiment strongly supports that the THz gain due to Bloch oscillating electrons persists at least up to 1.7 THz. It was also found that Zener tunneling into the second miniband sets the high-frequency limit to the THz gain for the samples studied here.  相似文献

A convergent total synthesis of leustroducsin B (1), which is known to exhibit a variety of biological activities, was successfully carried out. Notable features of our synthesis include construction of the C8 stereocenter by lipase-mediated desymmetrization of meso-diol 4 (90.2% ee) and preparation of the C9-C11 anti-diol moiety by the addition of alkynylzinc reagent 20 to the aldehyde 19. Furthermore, a new diol protecting group, p-silyloxybenzylidene, was developed for the deprotection from densely functionalized substrates under weakly acidic conditions. The protecting group was easily removed in a two-step procedure ((HF)3.Et3N; AcOH-THF-H2O).  相似文献

The plasma profile and parallel plasma flow in the scrape-off layer (SOL) were systematically measured using reciprocating Mach probes installed at the outer midplane and near the divertor magnetic null (x point) in the JT-60U tokamak with a single null divertor. For the ion vertical drift due to the toroidal magnetic field gradient (ion nablaB drift) directed towards the divertor, SOL plasma flow along the magnetic field lines away from the divertor ("flow reversal") was discovered at the midplane far from the divertor. A quantitative evaluation of the ion "Pfirsch-Schluter flow," wherein the parallel flow is naturally produced in a toroidal plasma, was consistent with the measurement.  相似文献

The decomposition of dimethyl sulfide (DMS) at initial concentrations of 4.5–18.0 ppmv in air was studied under electron-beam (EB) irradiation. Doses to decompose 90% of input DMS were 2.5 kGy for 4.5 ppmv, 3.4 kGy for 10.6 ppmv, and 3.9 kGy for 18.0 ppmv. HCOOH, (CH3)2SO, and trace CH3OH and (CH3)2SO2 were produced as irradiation products in addition to CO2 and CO. Application of an O3 decomposition catalyst to an irradiated sample gas led to an enhancement in the oxidation of DMS and its products into CO2 and the decomposition of O3. For 10.6 ppmv DMS/air, the mineralization ratio increased from 41% via only EB irradiation to 100% via the combination treatment at 6.3 kGy. The yield of CO2 to COx increased from 5.3 to 87.6% by combination with catalytic oxidation. This combination treatment enables the irradiation energy used to deodorize gas streams containing DMS to be reduced.  相似文献

A flow system to monitor the reactions in solutions was constructed, which connected a fluorometer and a luminometer in series. Using a stream through it, the correlation of fluorescence and luminescence was measured. The system was tested with actin. The fluorescence emission gave the signal of polymerization of labeled actin and the luminescence gave that of ATP hydrolysis by actin. The observations showed the correlation between ATP hydrolysis and polymerization. Applications of other proteins to this system will give insights into the characteristics of proteins.  相似文献
