Using front face-pumped compact active mirror laser (CAMIL) structure, we have demonstrated an Yb:YAG/YAG composite ceramic disk laser with pumping wavelength at 970 nm. The laser has been operated in both continuous-wave (CW) and Q-switching modes. Under CW operation, laser output power of 1.05 W with 2% transmission output coupler was achieved at the wavelength of 1031 nm. Q- switched laser output was gotten by using an acousto-optic Q-switch. The repetition rate ranged from 1 to 30 kHz and the pulse width varied from 166 to 700 ns. 相似文献

This paper describes how the structure of the state space of the quantum harmonic oscillator can be described by an adjunction
of categories, that encodes the raising and lowering operators into a commutative comonoid. The formulation is an entirely
general one in which Hilbert spaces play no special role.
Generalised coherent states arise through the hom-set isomorphisms defining the adjunction, and we prove that they are eigenstates
of the lowering operators. Generalised exponentials also emerge naturally in this setting, and we demonstrate that coherent
states are produced by the exponential of a raising morphism acting on the zero-particle state. Finally, we examine all of
these constructions in a suitable category of Hilbert spaces, and find that they reproduce the conventional mathematical structures. 相似文献

We report here the quasielastic neutron scattering (QENS) studies on the dynamics of propylene inside Na-Y zeolite using triple
axis spectrometer (TAS) at Dhruva reactor, Trombay. Molecular dynamics (MD) simulations performed on the system had shown
that the rotational motion involves energy larger than that involved in the translational motion. Therefore, rotational motion
was not observed in our earlier QENS studies on propylene adsorbed Na-Y zeolite using a higher resolution spectrometer at
Dhruva. Analysis of the TAS spectra revealed that the quasielastic broadening observed in propylene-loaded zeolite spectra
is due to the rotational motion of the propylene molecules. This is consistent with our simulation result. Further, the rotational
motion is found to be isotropic. The rotational diffusion coefficient has been obtained.

We report the experimental observation of the pure anomalous Hall effect (AHE) in nonmagnetic zinc-blende semiconductors without
application of the external magnetic fields. The AHE without any contribution from the ordinary Hall current originates from

Background
It is well established that nucleus basalis magnocellularis (NbM) lesions impair performance on tests of sustained attention. Previous work from this laboratory has also demonstrated that pedunculopontine tegmental nucleus (PPTg) lesioned rats make more omissions on a test of sustained attention, suggesting that it might also play a role in mediating this function. However, the results of the PPTg study were open to alternative interpretation. We aimed to resolve this by conducting a detailed analysis of the effects of damage to each brain region in the same sustained attention task used in our previous work. Rats were trained in the task before surgery and post-surgical testing examined performance in response to unpredictable light signals of 1500 ms and 4000 ms duration. Data for PPTg lesioned rats were compared to control rats, and rats with 192 IgG saporin infusions centred on the NbM. Background
With the advent of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) in awake animals it is possible to resolve patterns of neuronal activity across the entire brain with high spatial and temporal resolution. Synchronized changes in neuronal activity across multiple brain areas can be viewed as functional neuroanatomical circuits coordinating the thoughts, memories and emotions for particular behaviors.
