Acid-base interactions of complexes of substituted triazoloporphyrazines in media containing acetic acids

Acid-base interactions of Cu(II) and Ni(II) complexes of substituted triazoloporphyrazines in benzene-AcOH and dichloromethane-AcOH mixtures were studied and quantitative characteristics of equilibria were obtained. The replacement of one pyrrole ring in porphyrazine molecule by triazole ring was shown to increase the basicity of a macrocycle; the N(1) atom of triazole ring was proposed to be the center of protonation.     

A spectrographic method for determining the stability constants of complexes of the rare earth elements

A new spectrographic method has been proposed for determining the concentrations and stability constants of rare earth element (REE) complexes from the relative intensity of the bands in the absorption spectra when several complexes are present in the solution. The proposed method has been checked for the case of the gluconate and iminodiacetato complexes of neodymium. The values of the stability constants determined by the spectrographic method show satisfactory agreement with the values obtained by other methods.     

Spectral-luminescent properties of LiRbLa<Subscript>2 − <Emphasis Type="Italic">x</Emphasis></Subscript>Eu<Subscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">x</Emphasis></Subscript>(MoO<Subscript>4</Subscript>)<Subscript>4</Subscript> solid solutions

The luminescent properties of LiRbLa_{2 − x} Eu _x (MoO₄)₄ (x = 0.002, 0.02, 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0) solid solutions are investigated under laser excitation {λ_ex = 337.1 nm). It is established that the composition containing 50 at % Eu³⁺ is the brightest of the considered set of phosphors and has the highest quantum yield.     

Stimulated radiation pressure acting on an atom nonadiabatically interacting with the field of counterpropagating frequency-modulated waves

The stimulated radiation pressure acting on an atom nonadiabatically interacting with the field of counterpropagating frequency-modulated waves is shown to reach high values typical for the rapid adiabatic passage of the instantaneous frequency of the field of the counterpropagating waves through resonance with an atomic transition. Under the appropriate choice of interaction parameters, the radiation pressure changes insignificantly in a wide range of atomic velocities.
