A novel, biochemical, and eco-friendly method has been developed for the synthesis of Ag nanopar-ticles using an aqueous leaf extract of readily accessibleCinnamomum tamala as reducing and stabi-lizing agents. These Ag nanoparticles were used to catalyze the synthesis of pyranopyrazoles. The green nature and ease of recovery and reusability of the catalyst, together with high yields of prod-ucts, make this protocol attractive and useful.  相似文献

A fundamental study on the behaviour of heating coal macerals has been undertaken using two novel thermal analysis techniques. The apparent specific heat was determined during heating using an inverse calorimetric method (computer aided thermal analysis, CATA) and combined with pressure and displacement measurements to correlate endothermic and exothermic behaviour with measurement of swelling. The second technique used a post-oxidation stage to combust the tars and gases into products which were analysed. This method was used to study the elemental character of volatiles release from coal maceral concentrates in terms of carbon and hydrogen. Extents of swelling and exothermicity during primary devolatilisation were found to be correlated with vitrinite content and were associated with tar evolution. For the highest vitrinite fraction (of 86.4% vitrinite) swelling was initiated at the same temperature range for exothermic reactions, and maximum swelling coincided with the peak release of light gases. Tar evolution was found to change in chemical character (as defined by H/C ratio) during progressive heating, initially rising in the early stages of tar formation (<430 °C) to a maximum of 1.24, then gradually decreasing to a minimum of 0.64 at 550 °C.  相似文献

Natural killer T (NKT) cells recognize glycolipids presented by CD1d. The first antigen described, α-galactosyl ceramide (αGalCer), is a potential anticancer agent whose activity depends upon IFN-γ secretion. We report two analogs of αGalCer based on a naturally occurring glycosphingolipid, plakoside A. These compounds induce enhanced IFN-γ that correlates with detergent-resistant binding to CD1d and an increased stability of the lipid-CD1d complexes on antigen-presenting cells. Structural analysis on one of the analogs indicates that it is more deeply bound inside the CD1d groove, suggesting tighter lipid-CD1d interactions. To our knowledge, this is the first example in which structural information provides an explanation for the increased lipid-CD1d stability, likely responsible for the Th1 bias. We provide insights into the mechanism of IFN-γ-inducing compounds, and because our compounds activate human NKT cells, they could have therapeutic utility.  相似文献

It is well known that every uniquely clean ring is strongly clean. In this article, we investigate the question of when this result holds element-wise. We first construct an example showing that uniquely clean elements need not be strongly clean. However, in case every corner ring is clean the uniquely clean elements are strongly clean. Further, we classify the set of uniquely clean elements for various classes of rings, including semiperfect rings, unit-regular rings, and endomorphism rings of continuous modules.  相似文献

We consider acoustic waves in fluid-saturated periodic media with dual porosity. At the mesoscopic level, the fluid motion is governed by the Darcy flow model extended by inertia terms and by the mass conservation equation. In this study, assuming the porous skeleton is rigid, the aim is to distinguish the effects of the strong heterogeneity in the permeability coefficients. Using the asymptotic homogenization method we derive macroscopic equations and obtain the dispersion relationship for harmonic waves. The double porosity gives rise to an extra homogenized coefficient of dynamic compressibility which is not obtained in the upscaled single porosity model. Both the single and double porosity models are compared using an example illustrating wave propagation in layered media.  相似文献

This work bridges a gap in the cross‐coupling of aliphatic redox‐active esters with aryl zinc reagents. Previously limited to primary, secondary, and specialized tertiary centers, a new protocol has been devised to enable the coupling of general tertiary systems using nickel catalysis. The scope of this operationally simple method is broad, and it can be used to simplify the synthesis of medicinally relevant motifs bearing quaternary centers.  相似文献

Eco‐friendly, efficient, and simple one‐pot catalyst‐free new procedures have been reported for the synthesis of benzo[d]imidazo[2,1‐b]thiazoles by condensation of phenylglyoxal, cyclic enolizable carbonyl compounds, and 2‐aminobenzothiazole at 80°C or by grinding the components at room temperature in glycerol. Cyclic enolizable carbonyl compounds employed in the protocol include dimedone, cyclohexa‐1,3‐dione, cyclopenta‐1,3‐dione, 5‐methylcyclohexa‐1,3‐dione, and 4‐hydroxy‐6‐methyl‐2‐pyrone. All the reactions were complete in ~30 min. The structures of all the products were confirmed by spectral data. The structures of compounds IVl and IVe have also been confirmed by X‐ray crystallographic studies. This protocol offers advantages such as short reaction time, easy workup, high yields and an environmentally benign methodology.  相似文献

Thermally stable, flexible polymer gel electrolytes with high ionic conductivity are prepared by mixing the ionic liquid 1-butyl-1-methylpyrrolidinium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide (C4mpyrTFSI), LiTFSI and poly(vinylidene difluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene (PVDF-HFP). FT-IR and Raman spectroscopy show that an amorphous film is obtained for high (60 %) C4mpyrTFSI contents. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) confirms that the polymer gels are stable below ∼300 °C in both nitrogen and air environments. Ionic conductivity of 1.9×10−3 S cm−2 at room temperature is achieved for the 60 % ionic liquid loaded gel. Germanium (Ge) anodes maintain a coulombic efficiency above 95 % after 90 cycles in potential cycling tests with the 60 % C4mpyrTFSI polymer gel.  相似文献

Suspensions of solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs) stabilized with emulsifiers have been extensively investigated (since the 1990s) as drug carriers, although details of their ultrastructure are poorly defined. Previously, a novel microwave‐assisted microemulsion‐based technique to prepare SLNs was reported. To understand the detailed internal structure of these SLNs, ultra‐small angle neutron scattering (USANS) and small angle neutron scattering (SANS) experiments are conducted on suspensions of hydrogenated stearic acid SLNs stabilized with hydrogenated Tween 20 surfactant in D2O. Together, SANS and USANS gives a combined Q range of 0.000047 to 0.6 Å?1 (corresponding to a size range of ≈1 nm–15 µm). This extended Q range allows a comprehensive understanding of the hierarchical structure of SLNs. The data are consistent with the multi‐length scale structure of SLNs having polydispersed large particles with roughened surfaces at the microscale level. At the nanoscale level, the results are consistent with the SLNs having an ellipsoidal shape intermediate between spheres and rods, with a crossover from mass fractals to surface fractals. The elucidation of this structure is particularly important given that the structure influences the stability and drug release properties of the nanoparticles. These results assist in the development of systems with desired shape and properties.  相似文献

PVDF + BaZrO3 electroactive nanocomposite thin film has been prepared by solution casting method. The structural analysis was carried out by using x-ray diffraction pattern and atomic force microscopy (AFM). Generally, the performance of dielectric capacitors toward higher energy density and higher operating temperatures has been drawing increased interest. In this regard, the present study was focussed on the fabrication and characterization of PVDF + BaZrO3 electroactive nanocomposites in view of enhancing the energy density at elevated temperature. Cole-Cole plot is an agreement with multiple relaxation process in electroactive nanocomposites. Dielectric energy storage performance is assessed for PVDF nanocomposites with different wt% of BaZrO3 at different frequencies and temperature. It has been observed that with increase of temperature, the permittivity increased while the energy density slightly decreased but significantly higher than pure polymer PVDF. A high energy density of 6.88 J/cm3 was obtained for BaZrO3 electroactive nanocomposites at 50 °C and 5.06 J/cm3 at 70 °C. Overall, the testing results indicate that using nanocomposites of PVDF and BaZrO3 as a dielectric component is promising for implementation to preserve high energy density values up to temperatures of 70 °C.The enhancement of dielectric permittivity and the energy density is attributed due to increase of interracial charge density. The effect of BaZrO3 nanoparticles in energy density of PVDF is first time reported.  相似文献
