The desymmetrization of oxabenzonorbornadienes with aluminum reagents and SimplePhos as chiral ligand is described. The corresponding homoallylic alcohols are obtained in high yield, diastereoselectivity, and enantiomeric excess. Furthermore the first anti enantioselective desymmetrization with aromatic nucleophiles is reported.  相似文献

A series of seven new tetrazole‐based ligands (L1, L3–L8) containing terpyridine or bipyridine chromophores suited to the formation of luminescent complexes of lanthanides have been synthesized. All ligands were prepared from the respective carbonitriles by thermal cycloaddition of sodium azide. The crystal structures of the homoleptic terpyridine–tetrazolate complexes [Ln(Li)2]NHEt3 (Ln=Nd, Eu, Tb for i=1, 2; Ln=Eu for i=3, 4) and of the monoaquo bypyridine–tetrazolate complex [Eu(H2O)(L7)2]NHEt3 were determined. The tetradentate bipyridine–tetrazolate ligand forms nonhelical complexes that can contain a water molecule coordinated to the metal. Conversely, the pentadentate terpyridine–tetrazolate ligands wrap around the metal, thereby preventing solvent coordination and forming chiral double‐helical complexes similarly to the analogue terpyridine–carboxylate. Proton NMR spectroscopy studies show that the solid‐state structures of these complexes are retained in solution and indicate the kinetic stability of the hydrophobic complexes of terpyridine–tetrazolates. UV spectroscopy results suggest that terpyridine–tetrazolate complexes have a similar stability to their carboxylate analogues, which is sufficient for their isolation in aerobic conditions. The replacement of the carboxylate group with tetrazolate extends the absorption window of the corresponding terpyridine‐ (≈20 nm) and bipyridine‐based (25 nm) complexes towards the visible region (up to 440 nm). Moreover, the substitution of the terpyridine–tetrazolate system with different groups in the ligand series L3–L6 has a very important effect on both absorption spectra and luminescence efficiency of their lanthanide complexes. The tetrazole‐based ligands L1 and L3–L8 sensitize efficiently the luminescent emission of lanthanide ions in the visible and near‐IR regions with quantum yields ranging from 5 to 53 % for EuIII complexes, 6 to 35 % for TbIII complexes, and 0.1 to 0.3 % for NdIII complexes, which is among the highest reported for a neodymium complex. The luminescence efficiency could be related to the energy of the ligand triplet states, which are strongly correlated to the ligand structures.  相似文献

A Y-shaped microfluidic channel is applied for the first time to the construction of a glucose/O2 biofuel cell, based on both laminar flow and biological enzyme strategies. During operation, the fuel and oxidant streams flow parallel at gold electrode surfaces without convective mixing. At the anode, the glucose oxidation is performed by the enzyme glucose oxidase whereas at the cathode, the oxygen is reduced by the enzyme laccase, in the presence of specific redox mediators. Such cell design protects the anode from an interfering parasite reaction of O2 at the anode and offers the advantage of using different streams of oxidant and fuel for optimal performance of the enzymes. Electrochemical characterizations of the device show the influence of the flow rate on the output potential and current density. The maximum power density delivered by the assembled biofuel cell reached 110 μW cm?2 at 0.3 V with 10 mM glucose at 23 °C. The microfluidic approach reported here demonstrates the feasibility of advanced microfabrication techniques to build an efficient microfluidic glucose/O2 biofuel cell device.  相似文献

Steady-state and time-resolved fluorescence techniques have been used to study the photophysical properties of the fluorescent BODIPY-derived dye 3-{2-[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]ethenyl}-4,4-difluoro-8-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1,5,7-trimethyl-3a,4a-diaza-4-bora-s-indacene. This compound has been synthesized via a microwave-assisted condensation of p-N,N-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde with the appropriate 1,3,5,7-tetramethyl substituted borondipyrromethene unit. The fluorescence properties of the dye are strongly solvent dependent: increasing the solvent polarity leads to lower fluorescence quantum yields and lifetimes, and the wavelength of maximum fluorescence emission shifts to the red. The Catalán solvent scales are found to be the most suitable for describing the solvatochromic shifts of the fluorescence emission. These are dominated by polarity/polarizability effects, as confirmed by quantum-chemical calculations performed in the dielectric continuum approximation. Fluorescence decay profiles of the dye can be described by a single-exponential fit in most solvents investigated, while two decay times are found in alcohols. The dye undergoes a reversible protonation-deprotonation reaction in the acidic pH range with a pK(a) of 2.25 in acetonitrile solution. Fluorimetric titrations as a function of pH produce fluorescence emission enhancements at lower pH. The fluorescence excitation spectra show a hypsochromic shift from 600 nm for the neutral amine to 553 nm for the ammonium form, so that ratiometric measurements can be used to determine pK(a).  相似文献

We propose a model to determine the influence of different cell properties, such as size, membrane capacitance and cytoplasm conductivity, on the impedance spectrum as measured in a microfabricated cytometer. A dielectric sphere of equivalent complex permittivity is used as a simplified model to describe a biological cell. The measurement takes place between a pair of facing microelectrodes in a microchannel filled with a saline solution. The model incorporates various cell parameters, such as dielectric properties, size and position in the channel. A 3D finite element model is used to evaluate the magnitude of the electric field in the channel and the resultant changes in charge densities at the measurement electrode boundaries as a cell flows past. The charge density is integrated on the electrode surface to determine the displacement current and the channel impedance for the computed frequency range. The complete impedance model combines the finite element model, the electrode-electrolyte interface impedance and stray impedance, which are measured from a real device. The modeled dielectric complex spectra for various cell parameters are discussed and a measurement strategy for cell discrimination with such a system is proposed. We finally discuss the amount of noise and measurement fluctuations of the sensor.  相似文献

Their hydrogenation was performed at 50 °C in the presence of several organometallic catalysts under acidic conditions. Selective transport and sorting of particles in microfluidic devices by electroosmosis is complicated due to superposition of uncontrolled hydrodynamic pressure contributions on the electroosmotic force. In this paper, we present a microfluidic concept for the reliable and simple separation and sorting of particles in a microchip by electroosmosis combined with pressure-driven flow. The presented device allows fluid quantities to be switched and particles to be sorted within a channel manifold using only a single power supply with fixed voltage and an electric switch. Consequently, chip operation and fluid switching procedure are greatly simplified compared to a situation, in which several independent power sources are used for flow balancing, as is the common procedure. With the triple-T channel design presented, backpressure flow disturbing the electrokinetic fluid and particle separation process is eliminated by introducing controlled opposed hydrodynamic flow of buffer from side channels. This pressure-driven flow is generated on-chip by setting up differences in the reservoir pressures in a defined manner. A detailed flow analysis based on the equivalence of fluid flow and electric current is performed and the conditions for reliable chip function are worked out.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] The use of N-alkoxyacrylamides as substrates for Lewis acid catalyzed Diels-Alder reactions has been examined. Enantioselectivities up to 92% ee have been achieved using very simple chiral Lewis acids prepared from triisobutylaluminum and 2,2-dimethyl-alpha,alpha,alpha',alpha'-tetra-1-naphthalenyl-TADDOL (1-NaphtTADDOL). The use of Yamamoto's Zn-BINOL, easily prepared from Et2Zn and 1,1'-bi-2-naphthol (BINOL), proved to be even more efficient, and enantioselectivities up to 96% ee were achieved.  相似文献

Gas-phase structures of mass-selected singly- and doubly charged angiotensin ions have been determined by means of infrared multiple photon dissociation (IRMPD) spectroscopy and ion mobility spectrometry. Simulation of IRMPD spectra at the DFT level provides the location of the proton on the Arg side-chain in the case of the singly charged species. Interpretation of the ion mobility data suggests that the structures of singly- and doubly charged species are rather similar except for an internal proton transfer.  相似文献
