Cross sections are provided for most important collision processes of the Silicon‐Hydrides from the “Silanefamily”: SiHy (y = 1 ? 4) molecules and their ions SiH+y, with (plasma) electrons and protons. The processes include: electron impact ionization and dissociation of SiHy, dissociative excitation, ionization and recombination of SiH+y ions with electrons, and charge ‐ and atom ‐ exchange in proton collisions with SiHy. All important channels of dissociative processes are considered. Information is also provided on the energetics (reactants/products energy loss / gain) of each individual reaction channel. Total and partial cross sections are presented in compact analytic forms. The critical assessment of data, derivation of new data and presentation of results follow closely the concepts of the recently published related databases for Carbon‐Hydrides, namely for the Methane family [1, 2], and for the Ethane‐ and the Propane families [3], respectively. Solubility enhancement of the fungicide triflumicole by-cyclodextrin is explained using a thermodynamic approach. The influence of organic cosolvents on the overall equilibrium constants of triflumizole complexation with-cyclodextrin in aqueous solutions has been investigated. Their variance in mixed solvents is only partly explained by a competitive inclusion of substrate and cosolvent molecules in-cyclodextrin. The geometries of host-guest complexes have been estimated by molecular mechanics calculations. Their broad structural variety caused by the flexibility of host and guest molecules and different association possibilities of triflumizole have been analysed by a dynamic Monte Carlo docking method. The hydrophobic effect has been simulated by cominimization of the hydrophobic contributions to the solvation energy, calculated from the solvent accessible surface area of the complex and the conformational (potential) energy. 相似文献

Charge microheterogeneity of monoclonal antibodies, as revealed by isoelectric focusing in carrier ampholytes, has been known for a long time. Here we demonstrate, in the case of monoclonals against the gp-41 of the HIV-1 virus, that this heterogeneity is already present within the cell sap of hybridoma cells during antibody synthesis. When the monoclonals are secreted extracellularly, the same isoelectric point (pI) spectrum is maintained, but there is marked redistribution of the relative isoform abundance towards the lower pI components. This suggests in vivo processing of such forms, possibly via glycosylation or deamidation. The secreted antibodies are also analyzed by immobilized pH gradients (IPG), where they demonstrate an even more extensive heterogeneity, due to the marked increment in resolving power. Single bands are purified by preparative IPGs in a multicompartment electrolyzer and are shown to be stable with time. Thus, artefactual heterogeneity produced by the focusing technique is completely excluded and cellular processing is clearly established. 相似文献

The development of the bacterial luminescence test to an automated biomonitor is described. The computer controlled system was optimized by varying the following parameters: intermixture of the analyte solution and bacteria suspension, intensity and period of stirring during intermixture, delay time for temperature equalization, long-time stability of the bacteria and evaluation of the measured signals. All measurements were carried out using organic and inorganic pollutants, e.g. formaldehyde, phenol, 2,4-dichlorophenol, cyanide and lead ions. The medical demand for useful biomarkers is large and still increasing. This is especially true for cancer, because for this disease adequate diagnostic markers with high specificity and sensitivity are still lacking. Despite advances in imaging technologies for early detection of cancer, peptidomic multiplex techniques evolved in recent years will provide new opportunities for detection of low molecular weight (LMW) proteome biomarker (peptides) by mass spectrometry. Improvements in peptidomics research were made based on separation of peptides and/or proteins by their physico-chemical properties in combination with mass spectrometric detection, respectively identification, and sophisticated bioinformatic tools for data analysis. To evaluate the potential of serological tumor marker detection by differential peptide display (DPD) we analyzed plasma samples from a tumor graft model. After subcutaneous injection of HCT-116 cells in immunodeficient mice and their growth to a palpable tumor, plasma samples were analyzed by DPD. The comparison of obtained mass spectrometric data allows discovery of tumor specific peptides which fit well into the biological context of cancer pathogenesis and show a strong correlation to tumor growth. The identified peptides indicate events associated with hyper-proliferation and dedifferentiation of cells from an epithelial origin, which are typical characteristics of human carcinomas. We conclude that these findings are a "proof of principle" to detect differentially expressed, tumor-related peptides in plasma of tumor-bearing mice. 相似文献
