We present the results of acoustic sounding of the atmosphere in summer of 2001. The experiments were carried out using a multibeam bistatic sodar with two parabolic antennas of 15 m in diameter. The distance between the antennas was about 425 m. The transmitting acoustic antenna having 8° beam width was pointed to the zenith. The four-beam operation of the receiving paraboloid was implemented by mounting four separate microphones in its focal plane. The width of each beam of the receiving antenna was 2.5°. The beams of the transmitting and receiving antennas crossed at a height about 500 m. The sounding frequency was equal to 576 Hz. The acoustic-pulse duration and repetition period were 2 s and 8 s, respectively. A new procedure for experimental-data processing on the basis of analysis of temporary variations in the Doppler frequency shift of a scattered signal is proposed and approved. The approach based on using structural functions is applied. The preliminary results of analysis of one observation session are presented.  相似文献

In the ultimatum game with complete information a Sender proposes a division of a given amount of surplus (“pie”), which a Receiver can either accept (payoffs are distributed according to the Sender's proposal) or reject (both players earn nothing). We study another version of the ultimatum game under incomplete informaton in which the pie is drawn randomly from a commonly known distribution, the Sender knows the exact size of the pie, but the Receiver only knows her share of the pie, not the residual share requested by the Sender. The basic results are that (1) as the support of the pie distribution increases in a mean-preserving spread, the Senders make lower offers that the Receivers are less likely to reject, (2) for a given support, Senders tend to offer a lower proportion of the pie to the Receivers as the pie size grows larger, and (3) although knowing only their share of the pie, Receivers estimate its size quite accurately.  相似文献

The parameters of plasma disturbances at altitudes 660 and 840 km, measured by the instruments onboard the French DEMETER satellite and the US DMSP satellites passing through the magnetic flux tube footed at the region of intense modification of the F 2 ionospheric layer by the high-power HF radio waves of the Sura heating facility, are presented. The formation of artificial enhanced-density plasma ducts in the outer ionosphere is observed experimentally. Conditions facilitating the formation of such ducts are pointed out.  相似文献

A new class of multifunctional nanoparticles that combine properties of polymeric drug carriers, ultrasound imaging contrast agents, and enhancers of ultrasound-mediated drug delivery has been developed. At room temperature, the developed systems comprise perfluorocarbon nanodroplets stabilized by the walls made of biodegradable block copolymers. Upon heating to physiological temperatures, the nanodroplets convert into nano/microbubbles. The phase state of the systems and bubble size may be controlled by the copolymer/perfluorocarbon volume ratio. Upon intravenous injections, a long-lasting, strong and selective ultrasound contrast is observed in the tumor volume indicating nanobubble extravasation through the defective tumor microvasculature, suggesting their coalescence into larger, highly echogenic microbubbles in the tumor tissue. Under the action of tumor-directed ultrasound, microbubbles cavitate and collapse resulting in a release of the encapsulated drug and dramatically enhanced intracellular drug uptake by the tumor cells. This effect is tumor-selective; no accumulation of echogenic microbubbles is observed in other organs. Effective chemotherapy of the MDA MB231 breast cancer tumors has been achieved using this technique.  相似文献
