Net analyte signal (NAS)-based multivariate calibration methods were employed for simultaneous determination of anthazoline and naphazoline. The NAS vectors calculated from the absorbance data of the drugs mixture were used as input for classical least squares (CLS), principal component and partial least squares regression PCR and PLS methods. A wavelength selection strategy was used to find the best wavelength region for each drug separately. As a new procedure, we proposed an experimental design-neural network strategy for wavelength region optimization. By use of a full factorial design method, some different wavelength regions were selected by taking into account different spectral parameters including the starting wavelength, the ending wavelength and the wavelength interval. The performance of all the multivariate calibration methods, in all selected wavelength regions for both drugs, was evaluated by calculating a fitness function based on the root mean square error of calibration and validation. A three-layered feed-forward artificial neural network (ANN) model with back-propagation learning algorithm was employed to model the nonlinear relationship between the spectral parameters and fitness of each regression method. From the resulted ANN models, the spectral regions in which lowest fitness could be obtained were chosen. Comparison of the results revealed that the net NAS-PLS resulted in lower prediction error than the other models. The proposed NAS-based calibration method was successfully applied to the simultaneous analyses of anthazoline and naphazoline in a commercial eye drop sample. 相似文献

A crude preparation of horseradish roots was used as a low-purity source of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) in dye decolorization experiments. The technical feasibility of the process was studied in bench scale for enzymatic removal of acid orange 7 (AO7), a synthetic dye. Further studies were carried out to understand the effects of process parameters such as pH value, H(2)O(2) level, concentrations of the synthetic dye, and HRP during enzyme-mediated dye degradation. Experimental data revealed that the concentration of AO7, pH of the aqueous phase, amount of the enzyme, and H(2)O(2) level played significant roles on the overall enzymatic reaction. Polyethylene glycol, as an anti-inactivation of HRP, in various concentrations showed no significant effect on the decolorization. The experimental data of initial reaction rates were fitted using an analytical equation proposed by Michaelis-Menten. The acute toxicity tests using Daphnia magna exhibited that the enzymatic treatment significantly decreased the toxicity of the dye solution. 相似文献

Synchronization of actively oscillating organelles such as cilia and flagella facilitates self-propulsion of cells and pumping fluid in low Reynolds number environments. To understand the key mechanism behind synchronization induced by hydrodynamic interaction, we study a model of rigid-body rotors making fixed trajectories of arbitrary shape under driving forces that are arbitrary functions of the phase. For a wide class of geometries, we obtain the necessary and sufficient conditions for synchronization of a pair of rotors. We also find a novel synchronized pattern with an oscillating phase shift. Our results shed light on the role of hydrodynamic interactions in biological systems, and could help in developing efficient mixing and transport strategies in microfluidic devices. 相似文献

We consider bucket recursive trees of sizen consisting of all buckets with variable capacities1,2,...,b and with a specifc stochastic growth rule.This model can be considered as a generalization of random recursive trees like bucket recursive trees introduced by Mahmoud and Smythe where all buckets have the same capacities.In this work,we provide a combinatorial analysis of these trees where the generating function of the total weights satisfes an autonomous frst order diferential equation.We study the depth of the largest label(i.e.,the number of edges from the root node to the node containing label n)and give a closed formula for the probability distribution.Also we prove a limit law for this quantity which is a direct application of quasi power theorem and compute its mean and variance.Our results for b=1 reduce to the previous results for random recursive trees. 相似文献

In this work, the synthesis of the composite of cerium(IV) molybdophosphate (CMP) and polyacrylonitrile (PAN) was reported (CMP‐PAN). The material has been characterized by elemental and spectral (FT‐IR), X‐ray and thermal (TGA) analysis. Also the size analysis of the composite was done by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Its chemical stability in acidic, basic and saline solutions and radiation stability up to 100 kGy total expose dose were assessed. Whereas the synthesized composite has ion exchange properties, its ion exchange capacity and behavior toward several metal ions were also investigated. Further, the distribution coefficients of the metal ions were calculated. Finally, the ability of the synthesized CMP‐PAN composite for the decontamination of low level liquid waste (LLLW) was investigated. 相似文献
