The bond dissociation energies for Alkali halides have been estimated based on the derived relations: $$\begin{gathered} D_{AB} = \bar D_{AB} + 31.973{\text{ e}}^{0.363\Delta x} {\text{ and}} \hfill \\ D_{AB} = \bar D_{AB} (1 - 0.2075\Delta xr_e ) + 52.29\Delta x, \hfill \\ \end{gathered} $$ where \(\bar D_{AB} = (D_{AA} \cdot D_{BB} )^{{1 \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {1 2}} \right. \kern-0em} 2}} \) , Δx represents Pauling electronegativity differences x(A ?xB) and r e is the internuclear distance. A simplified formula relating bond orders, q, to spectroscopic constants is suggested. The formula has the form q = 1.5783 × 10?3 (ω e 2 re/ Be)1/2. The ambiguity arising from the Parr and Borkman relation is discussed. The present study supports the view of Politzer that q/(0.5r e)2 is the correct definition of bond order. The estimated bond energies and bond orders are in reasonably good agreement with the literature values. The bond energies estimated with the relations we suggested, for alkali halides give an error of 4.5% and 5.3%, respectively. The corresponding error associated with Pauling's equation is 40.2%. 相似文献

A new spectrophotometric method for the determination of molybdenum is based on the extraction of the orange red molybdenum thiocyanate-2-acetylpyridinethiosemicarbazone complex into chloroform from hydrochloric acid. The complex has an absorption maximum at 470 nm with a molar absorptivity of 1.7 × 104 liters mol?1 cm?1. Beer's law is valid from 0.1 to 6.5 ppm of molybdenum. The equilibrium shift method indicated a 1:4:2 complex. The method has been used successfully for the determination of molybdenum in molybdenum steels. 相似文献

The present work investigates the best mix ratio of Glycerol in Water as a medium to prepare a stable nanofluid. Increasing the proportion of glycerol enhances the aqueous mix's dynamic viscosity and improves the prepared nanofluid's stability. The thermal conductivity and viscosity of the Glycerol and Water mixtures determination were undertaken at various Glycerol ratios. The best percentage of glycerol in the mixture is found to have the least amount of thermal conductivity loss and the optimum viscosity gain. Silica (SiO2) nanofluid of 0.25%, 0.5%, 1%, and 1.5% weight concentrations was prepared with this optimal mixture of Glycerol and Water. The stability of these SiO2 nanofluids is evaluated by determining the zeta potential at different time intervals. The nanofluids prepared were observed to be stable for one month. The thermal conductivity and viscosity of the nanofluids are measured between the temperature limits of 30°–70°C. A peak increment of 32.1%and 46.3% in thermal conductivity and viscosity is observed. Furthermore, when the percentage enhancement ratio (PER) and Mouromtseff ratio of these nanofluids is examined, it is observed that they have more excellent thermal performance at higher temperatures. Regression correlations are developed to estimate the thermal conductivity and viscosity of the prepared nanofluids with a maximum deviation of 9%. 相似文献

In the present study, the main protease 3CLpro and non-structural protein (NSP-12 with co-factors 7 and 8) trimer complex are used to study the protein-drug interactions with the phytochemicals from Ocimum Sanctum, Tinospora Cordifolia, Glycyrrhiza Glabra, and Azadirachta Indica. Which can give insight to be used as potent antiviral drugs against SARS-CoV-2. Twenty phytochemicals, five from each plant species, known for their wide range of biological activities were chosen from the literature. The in-silico study was carried out using virtual screening tools and the top five, which showed the least binding energies, were selected. Molecular docking tools revealed that gedunin and epoxy azadiradione proved to be excellent inhibitors for 3CLpro and so did Tinosporide for non-structural-protein complex. Further, the best-hit phytochemicals with respect to structure similarities with FDA drugs and investigatory drugs, were considered for comparative study. Molecular docking was done to check the drug-protein interactions and to check the inhibitory responses of these drugs against the viral protein. The analyses showed that the phytochemicals had similar responses on the protein complex but with exceptionally higher inhibitory responses hence which may be taken for further clinical study. 相似文献

The reactions of [Re(N-N)(CO)3(PMe3)]OTf (N-N=2,2′-bipyridine, bipy; 1,10-phenanthroline, phen) compounds with tBuLi and with LiHBEt3 have been explored. Addition to the N-N chelate took place with different site-selectivity depending on both chelate and nucleophile. Thus, with tBuLi, an unprecedented addition to C5 of bipy, a regiochemistry not accessible for free bipy, was obtained, whereas coordinated phen underwent tBuLi addition to C2 and C4. Remarkably, when LiHBEt3 reacted with [Re(bipy)(CO)3(PMe3)]OTf, hydride addition to the 4 and 6 positions of bipy triggered an intermolecular cyclodimerization of two dearomatized pyridyl rings. In contrast, hydride addition to the phen analog resulted in partial reduction of one pyridine ring. The resulting neutral ReI products showed a varied reactivity with HOTf and with MeOTf to yield cationic complexes. These strategies rendered access to ReI complexes containing bipy- and phen-derived chelates with several C(sp3) centers. 相似文献

A Rh(i)-catalyzed highly stereoselective desymmetrization of 2-alkynylbenzaldehyde-tethered cyclohexadienones triggered by intramolecular Huisgen-type [3 + 2] cycloaddition has been developed. This method enables convergent construction of complex epoxy-bridged polycyclic ring systems with five contiguous stereocenters with excellent exo-selectivity and broad substrate scope. The highly atom-economical process involves 6-endo-dig cyclization of carbonyl oxygen onto an activated alkyne resulting in a highly reactive metal–benzopyrylium intermediate, which readily undergoes intramolecular [3 + 2] annulation/hydration. An efficient catalyst-free one-pot three-component synthesis of penta-substituted pyrroles has been successfully developed. A variety of penta-substituted pyrroles were straightforwardly synthesized from good to excellent yields (78%–93%) by using easily accessible starting materials under mild conditions.
