The utility of the thio acid-azide coupling reaction to afford amides is explored in imidazole-containing substrates for application in the total synthesis of examples of oroidin alkaloids. Good yields of the expected amides are obtained in both monomeric and dimeric substrates. Bis azides react preferentially at the 2-azido position but hydrosulfenylation and reduction interfere. 2-Thiophenyl and 2-oxo groups were evaluated as 2-amino surrogates, the thioether delivered the expected amide, whereas 2-imidazolone gave a mixture of the expected amide and the hydrosulfenylation product. 相似文献

Abstract
Hydroarylation of styrenes with arenes/heteroarenes using KHSO4 (10 mol%) as an efficient heterogeneous catalyst is described. High conversion and selectivity (>99%) were observed for hydroarylation of styrenes with 2-naphthol at reflux temperature of 1,2-dichloroethane. Yields were quantitative with all styrenes. Moderate to good conversions and selectivities were achieved with other aromatics and heteroaromatics under the same conditions. Regeneration and reusability of KHSO4 were demonstrated. Addition of a trace amount of water could help to reactivate the KHSO4 through dispersion and to facilitate the hydroarylation reaction. 相似文献94.

Porous silica matrices of different pore sizes with confined ionic liquid (1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate) [BMIM] [PF6] were prepared by sol‐gel technique using a tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) precursor with an aim to study the changes in physico‐chemical properties of ionic liquid on confinement. It is found that on confinement 1) melting point decreases, 2) fluorescence spectra shows a red shift and 3) the vibrational bands are affected particularly those of imadazolium ring, which interacts more with the walls of the silica matrix. Preliminary theoretical calculations suggest that SiO2 matrix interact more with the heterocyclic group of [BMIM] cation than the tail alkyl chain end group resulting in significant changes in the aromatic vibrations. 相似文献

A nanofibrous polyaniline (PANI) thin film was fabricated using plasma‐induced polymerization method and explored its application in the fabrication of NO2 gas sensor. The effects of substrate position, pressure, and the number of plasma pulses on the PANI film growth rate were monitored and an optimum condition for the PANI thin film preparation was established. The resulting PANI film was characterized with UV–visible spectrophotometer, FTIR, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The PANI thin film possessed nanofibers with a diameter ranging from 15 to 20 nm. The NO2 gas sensing behavior was studied by measuring the change in electrical conductivity of PANI film with respect to NO2 gas concentration and exposure time. The optimized sensor exhibited a sensitivity factor of 206 with a response time of 23 sec. The NO2 gas sensor using nanofibrous PANI thin film as sensing probe showed a linear current response to the NO2 gas concentration in the range of 10–100 ppm. The study was aimed to test the feasibility of utilizing an algorithmically determinable stable fiber mass (SFM) map obtained by an unsupervised principal eigenvector field segmentation (PEVFS) for automatic delineation of 18 white matter (WM) tracts: (1) corpus callosum (CC), (2) tapetum (TP), (3) inferior longitudinal fasciculus (ILF), (4) uncinate fasciculus (UNC), (5) inferior fronto-occipital fasciculus (IFO), (6) optic pathways (OP), (7) superior longitudinal fasciculus (SLF), (8) arcuate fasciculus (AF), (9) fornix (FX), (10) cingulum (CG), (11) anterior thalamic radiation (ATR), (12) superior thalamic radiation (STR), (13) posterior thalamic radiation (PTR), (14) corticospinal/corticopontine tract (CST/CPT), (15) medial lemniscus (ML), (16) superior cerebellar peduncle (SCP), (17) middle cerebellar peduncle (MCP) and (18) inferior cerebellar peduncle (ICP). Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI)-derived fractional anisotropy (FA) and the principal eigenvector field have been used to create the SFM consisting of a collection of linear voxel structures which are grouped together by color-coding them into seven natural classes to provide PEVFS signature segments which greatly facilitate the selection of regions of interest (ROIs) for fiber tractography using just a single mouse click, as compared with a manual drawing of ROIs in the classical approach. All the 18 fiber bundles have been successfully reconstructed, in all the subjects, using the single ROIs provided by the SFM approach, with their reproducibility characterized by the fact that the ROI selection is user independent. The essentially automatic PEVFS method is robust, efficient and compares favorably with the classical ROI methods for diffusion tensor tractography (DTT). 相似文献

A polyhydrido copper nanocluster, [Cu20H11{Se2P(OiPr)2}9] ( 2H ), which exhibits an intrinsically chiral inorganic core of C3 symmetry, was synthesized from achiral [Cu20H11{S2P(OiPr)2}9] ( 1H ) of C3h symmetry by a ligand‐exchange method. The structure has a distorted cuboctahedral Cu13 core, two triangular faces of which are capped along the C3 axis, one by a Cu6 cupola and the other by a single Cu atom. The Cu20 framework is further stabilized by 9 diselenophosphate and 11 hydride ligands. The number of hydride, phosphorus, and selenium resonances and their splitting patterns in multinuclear NMR spectra of 2H indicate that the chiral Cu20H11 core retains its C3 symmetry in solution. The 11 hydride ligands were located by neutron diffraction experiments and shown to be capping μ3‐H and interstitial μ5‐H ligands (in square‐pyramidal and trigonal‐bipyramidal cavities), as supported by DFT calculations on [Cu20H11(Se2PH2)9] ( 2H′ ) as a simplified model. 相似文献

Newly synthesized benzo[b]carbazoles were treated with ethanol amine in the presence of polyphosphoric acid which leads to the formation of pyrazino carbazoles. Considering external electric field as well as third- and fourth-order phonon anharmonic interaction terms in the pseudospin-lattice
coupled mode (PLCM) model Hamiltonian for KDP-type ferroelectrics, expressions for field-dependent shift, width, renormalized
soft mode frequency, Curie temperature, dielectric constant and dielectric loss are evaluated. For the calculation, method
of statistical double-time temperature-dependent Green’s function has been used. By fitting model values of physical quantities,
temperature and electric field dependences of soft mode frequency, dielectric constant and loss have been calculated which
compare well with experimental results of Baumgartner [8] and Choi and Lockwood [9]. Both dielectric constant and loss decrease

Calix[4]arene‐based molecules hold great promise as candidate sensors and storage materials for nitric oxide (NO), owing to their unprecedented binding affinity for NO. However, the structure of calix[4]arene is complicated by the availability of four possible conformers: 1,3‐alternate, 1,2‐alternate, cone, and partial cone (paco). Whilst complexes of NO with several of these conformers have previously been established, the 1,2‐alternate conformer complex, that is, [1,2‐alter ? NO]+, has not been previously reported. Herein, we determine the crystal structure of the NO complex with the 1,2‐alternate conformer for the first time. In addition, we have also found that the 1,2‐alternate and 1,3‐alternate conformers can combine with two NO molecules to form stable bis(nitric oxide) complexes. These new complexes, which exhibit remarkable binding capacity for the construction of NO‐storage molecules, were characterized by using X‐ray crystallography and NMR, IR, and UV/Vis spectroscopy. These findings will extend our understanding of the interactions between nitric oxide and cofacially and non‐cofacially arrayed aromatic rings, and we expect them to aid in the design and development of new supramolecular sensors and storage materials for NO with high capacity and efficacy. 相似文献
