Solving Generalized Non-degenerate Two-Mode Two-Photon Jaynes-Cummings Model by Supersymmetric Unitary Transformation

Based on supersymmetric quantum mechanics theory, we introduced a supersymmetric unitary transfor mation to diagonalize the Hamiltonian of non-degenerate two-mode two-photon Jaynes-Cummings models which include any forms of intensity-dependent coupling, field-dependent detuning, and field nonlinearity. Its eigenvalue, eigenstates,and time evolution of state vector are obtained.     

Reduction of Dislocations in GaN Epilayer Grown on Si （111） Substrates using a GaN Intermedial Layer

GaN intermedial layers grown under different pressures are inserted between GaN epilayers and AIN/Si（111） substrates. In situ optical reflectivity measurements show that a transition from the three-dimensional （3D） mode to the 2I） one occurs during the GaN epilayer growth when a higher growth pressure is used during the preceding GaN intermedial layer growth, and an improvement of the crystalline quality of GaN epilayer will be made. Combining the in situ reflectivity and transmission electron microscopy （TEM） measurements, it is suggested that the lateral growth at the transition of growth mode is favourable for bending of dislocation lines, thus reducing the density of threading dislocations in the epilayer.

Polymerization of cyclopentadiene initiated by methylaluminoxane

The polymerization of cyclopentadiene (CPD) was effectively initiated by methylaluminoxane (MAO) to generate poly(cyclopentadiene) (polyCPD). The effects on the polymerization of some reaction parameters such as the monomer concentration, the initiator concentration, and solvents were investigated. The conversion of CPD was monitored with gas chromatography to investigate the reaction kinetics. The polymerization rate was proportional to the concentrations of MAO in the first order and of the CPD monomer in the second order, and a reasonable cationic polymerization mechanism was suggested on the basis of the kinetic study. PolyCPD obtained at a low temperature could be dissolved in toluene or chloroform, and this indicated lower cross‐coupling during the polymerization reaction. ¹H NMR and IR analysis of the polymer indicated that there were almost equal amounts of 1,2‐enchainment and 1,4‐enchainment in the polymer chain. The measurement of polyCPD showed its unique properties as a potential candidate for stable wrappings or electronic packaging materials. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 一种新型频域均衡器在水声通信中的应用

在传统频域均衡器的基础上,结合多载波频移键控调制方式的频谱结构,利用接收信号和参考信号的相关性及均衡器的滤波系数,提出了一种兼具均衡与解调功能的新型频域均衡器结构.该均衡器简单、有效地克服了水声信道中多径传播产生的码间干扰和频率选择性衰落等问题,简化了水声通信系统接收机的复杂度. 新型频域均衡器的解调原理以非相关解调算法为基础,但由于利用了均衡器的计算结果,其差错性能优于传统的非相关解调算法,计算机仿真试验表明,改进后的方法使差错性能提高了2 dB;实际水声通信实验表明,该均衡器能够有效地提高水声通信系统的可靠性,具有很好的应用前景.     

LIMITING BEHAVIOR OF UNIFORM RECURSIVE TREES

The authors consider the limiting behavior of various branches in a uniform recursive tree with size growing to infinity.The limiting distribution ofζ_(n,m),the number of branches with size m in a uniform recursive tree of order n,converges weakly to a Poisson distribution with parameter 1/m with convergence of all moments.The size of any large branch tends to infinity almost surely.
