A novel facile method has been demonstrated for large-scale synthesis of zinc-oxide-based one-dimensional solid solution with a series percentage of nickel dopant. The obtained Zn1-xNixO nanorods were characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, selected area electron diffraction, and energy dispersed X-ray spectroscopy. The result shows that the obtained Zn1-xNixO nanorods are single crystalline with the Ni2+ dopants occupying tetrahedral Zn2+ cation sites of wurtzite ZnO. Moreover, the Zn1-xNixO nanorods exhibit robust high-Curie-temperature (TC) ferromagnetism at 300 K. 相似文献

Duschinsky rotation effect is a simple and effective way to characterize the difference between the ground state and excited state potential energy surfaces. For complex molecules, harmonic oscillator model is still the practical way to describe the dynamics of excited states. Based on the first-order perturbation theory a la Fermi golden rule, the authors have applied the path integral of Gaussian type for the correlation function to derive an analytic formalism to calculate the internal conversion rate process with Duschinsky rotation effect being taken into account. The validity of their formalism is verified through comparison with previous work, both analytically for the case of neglecting Duschinsky rotation and numerically for the ethylene molecules with two-mode mixing. Pheomelanin is an important type of melanin distributed in the skin, eye and hair in the mammal, which is of great social, clinical and cosmetic significance. In this study, a new HPLC method with fluorescence detection is described originally for the sensitive determination of pheomelanin in biological materials. The pheomelanin polymer is decomposed into two specific degradation products, 3-amino-4-hydroxyphenylalanine (3-AHP) and 4-amino-3- hydroxyphenylalanine (4-AHP) with hydriodic acid. Then the two AHP isomers are derivatized using a fluorescent probe naphthalene-2,3-dicarboxaldehyde in the presence of cyanide. The resulting highly stable 2-substituted 1-cyanobenz[f] isoindole derivatives were separated on a 5NH(2)-MS aminopropyl packed HPLC column with binary isocratic elution profile and detected fluorimetrically. The assay shows high sensitivity of 0.11nM (2.2fmol per injection, the lowest reported) at signal-to-noise ratio of 3 for each AHPs, good accuracy and precision (RSDs<3.1%), and linearity (range of 0.02-10microM, r>0.995). The results obtained by using fluorescence detection have been compared with other detection systems (electrochemical and UV). The sensitivity can increase from 100 to respect electrochemical detection and 30000 times respect UV detection. The method has been used for the quantitative determination of pheomelanin in various biological samples, including cell cultures from five types of melanoma cell lines of human and rat origin, hair samples of various colors, melanoma tissue and the urines from human melanoma patients and healthy subjects. This original application of HPLC-fluorescence detection represents a powerful tool for investigating pheomelanin synthesis in vitro and in vivo under physiological and pathophysiological conditions. 相似文献

Careful examination of the X-ray structure of a ditopic hydrazide derivative 7 led to the concept that with malonyl groups as interhydrazide linkers hydrogen-bonding-mediated molecular duplex strands might be obtained. Complexation studies between 7, 8, and 9 confirmed this hypothesis. Two quadruple hydrogen-bonded heterodimers formed, in which spectator repulsive secondary electrostatic interaction was found to play an important role in determining the stability of the complexes. Extensive studies on 1-4 indicated that the hydrogen-bonding mode could persist in longer oligomeric hydrazide derivatives with chain extension from monomer to tetramer. Molecular duplex strands via two to fourteen interstrand hydrogen bonds were obtained. In addition to affecting the stability of the duplex strands, spectator repulsive secondary electrostatic interaction also played an important role in determining dynamic behavior of the duplex strands as exemplified by variable temperature (1)H NMR experiments. IR studies confirmed stronger hydrogen bonding in the longer oligomers. The assemblies of 1-4 on HOPG were also studied by STM technology. Molecular mechanical calculations further revealed double-helical structures for the longer oligomers. The results provide new opportunities for development of polymeric helical duplexes with well-defined structures. 相似文献

Surface plasmon resonance was used to measure binding of proteins from solution to poly(2-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate) (PDMAEMA) brushes end-grafted from gold surfaces by atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). PDMAEMA brushes were prepared with a variety of grafting densities and degrees of polymerization. These brushes displayed charge selective protein uptake. The extent of uptake for net negatively charged bovine serum albumin (BSA) scaled linearly with the surface mass concentration of grafted PDMAEMA, regardless of grafting density. BSA was bound at a constant ratio of 120 DMAEMA monomer units per protein molecule for all brushes examined. The equivalent three-dimensional concentration of BSA bound in the brush (i.e., the bound BSA surface excess concentration divided by the brush thickness) decreased monotonically with decreasing grafting density. The concentration of BSA bound within brushes prepared at higher grafting densities was comparable with the aqueous protein solubility limit. BSA desorption from the brush required changes in solution pH and/or ionic strength to eliminate its net electrostatic attraction to PDMAEMA. Net positively charged lysozyme was completely rejected by the PDMAEMA brushes. 相似文献

本文阐述了一种新的光波导型三向力触觉传感器的工作原理和基本结构,并设计了实验系统。这种传感器由一个橡胶垫和一个光波导路等组成,在橡胶垫的一侧制作圆柱触头阵列,在其另一侧制作圆锥触头阵列,使得每个圆柱触头下面分布2×2个圆锥触头。圆柱触头与施力的物体接触,而圆锥触头与光波导板接触。施加到圆柱触头上的力的三个分量可以通过该圆柱触头所对应的2×2个圆锥触头与光波导板接触时溢出的光斑面积确定。通过CCD摄取此光斑送入计算机进行图象处理,从而可求出光斑面积大小。实验结果显示了力的三个分量能通过圆锥触头的四个接触面积求出。 相似文献
