A facile approach for synthesis of spirobifluorene trimers with peripheral carbazole functional groups by utilizing Suzuki coupling as the key reaction has been developed. These novel compounds exhibit blue emission with high quantum yields in solution and thin films, and excellent spectral stability upon photoirradiation and annealing in air. By the introduction of carbazole groups, the oxidation potentials of spirobifluorene trimers S TCPC-6 and STCPC-4 were significantly lower than that of model compound STHPH without peripheral carbazole groups, which reflect that the title compounds process higher HOMO energy level and better hole-injection ability. Highly luminescent films were obtained by electrochemical coupling between carbazole units. Pure blue-emission single-layer LEDs based on electrochemical deposition films as light emitting layers were achieved. 相似文献

The fully chlorinated closo-dodecaborate salt Cs(2)[B(12)Cl(12)] was prepared in high yield from Cs(2)[B(12)H(12)] and SO(2)Cl(2) in acetonitrile at refluxing temperature. [Ph(3)C](2)[B(12)Cl(12)] was obtained by simple metathesis reactions. Catalytic hydrodefluorination of benzotrifluoride sp(3) C-F bonds was accomplished using [Ph(3)C](2)[B(12)Cl(12)] as a precatalyst and Et(3)SiH as a stoichiometric reagent. A binary optical encoding strategy is proposed to meet the increasing requirements of multiplex bioassays. As illustrated in fluorescence immunodetection of multiplex antigen molecules, photonic crystal beads (PCBs) and quantum dots (QDs) can be used as biomolecular microcarriers and fluorescence labels, respectively. The categories of antigens were deciphered by the binary combination of optical spectra of PCBs and QDs as independent encoding elements. The number of categories that could be detected was theoretically m × n, where m and n represent the number of encoding PCBs and QDs, respectively. In addition, the concentrations of the antigens were determined by the fluorescence signals of the QDs. Results of sensitivity analysis indicate that a low-level detection of 58 pg/mL was achieved. Because of the special nanostructures of these two encoding elements, the binary encoding strategy demonstrated its superiority and practicability when compared with single PCB or QD encoding. Using the total human/mouse DNA as the probe, screening has been carried out three times with in situ plaque hybridization to obtain the single-copy DNA sequence from the human X chromosome genomic library. The effective rate of screening is 1. 45%. DNAs from clones containing single-copy inserts have been analyzed by a panel of hybrid cells with or without human X chromosome. Three segments, designated by DXFD52,73,75, are mapped to the X chromosome. DXFD52 has been precisely localized on Xq12-q13 with in situ chromosomal hybridization. DXFD52 has been partially sequenced. The results indicate that DXFD52 is a new isolated single-copy segment on the X chromosome. The authors show that polar molecules can be adiabatically aligned and oriented by laser pulses more efficiently when the laser frequencies are vibrationally resonant. The aligned molecules are found in a superposition of vibrational pendular states, each associated with the alignment of the rotor in one vibrational state.
