Abstract
Crystal structures of two bis-phenols namely bis-(3,5-dimethyl-2-hydroxyphenyl)(3-amino phenyl)methane 1 and bis-(3,5-dimethyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)(3-aminophenyl) methane 2 are determined. The compound 1 crystallises in monoclinic P21/c with a = 12.2579(16) ?, b = 16.0906(19) ?, c = 10.6664(13) ?, β = 115.417(7)°, V = 1900.2(4) ?3 whereas 2 crystallizes in monoclinic C2/c, a = 9.2538(2) ?, b = 18.6579(4) ?, c = 23.2725(5) ?, β = 98.796(2)°, V = 3970.89(15) ?3. Abstract
The structural aspects of one-dimensional coordination polymer (1) of nickel(II) with 1,3,5-benzene tricarboxylate and a three-dimensional interpenetrating coordination polymer (2) of zinc(II) with 1,4-benzenedicarboxylate ligand are studied by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Coordination polymer (1) forms a hydrogen bonded three dimensional network structures. The coordination polymer 1 having a composition [Ni3(TMA)2(H2O)12] n where (TMA = trimesate anion), crystallizes in monoclinic crystal system with C2 space group and has a/?, 17.3387(4); b/?, 12.8748(4); c/?, 6.5302(2); β/°111.620(2); V/?3, 1355.20(7). The zinc coordination polymer 2 crystal system is orthorhombic, with space group Pbca. It has a/?, 14.5049(3); b/?, 17.1616(3); c/?, 18.1389(4); V/?3, 4515.27(16). The 1,4-benzenedicarboxylate three dimensional coordination polymer of zinc(II) comprises of novel hydroxo bridged tetranuclear zinc(II) secondary building units and has a composition [Zn2(C6H4C2O4)1.5{(CH3)2SO}2(OH)] n . The aim in our article is to introduce the notion of statistical convergence and statistically Cauchy sequences in intuitionistic fuzzy n-normed linear spaces. The paper shows that some properties of statistical convergence of real sequences also hold for sequences in this space. Characterization for statistically convergent and statistically Cauchy sequences is also given. The interaction of dislocations with copper-enriched precipitates in the matrix of body-centered cubic iron has been investigated
by the molecular dynamics method. It has been shown that dislocations stimulate the development of a phase instability of
body-centered cubic copper precipitates in a specific range of their sizes. This process is accompanied by the pinning of
dislocations by precipitates and makes a significant contribution to strengthening. The results obtained provide an adequate

The conventional drying (oven drying) method used for the preparation of precipitated mesoporous silica with low surface area (>300 m2/g) and small pore volume is often associated with a high production cost and a time consuming process. Therefore, the main goal of this study was to develop a cost-effective and fast drying process for the production of precipitated mesoporous silica using inexpensive industrial grade sodium silicate and spray drying of the precipitated wet-gel silica slurry. The precipitated wet-gel silica slurry was prepared from an aqueous sodium silicate solution through the drop-wise addition of sulfuric acid. Mesoporous precipitated silica powder was prepared by drying the wet-gel slurry with different drying techniques. The effects of the oven drying (OD), microwave drying (MD), and spray drying (SD) techniques on the physical (oil, water absorption, and tapping density), and textural properties (specific BET surface area, pore volume, pore size, and % porosity) of the precipitated mesoporous silica powder were studied. The dried precipitated mesoporous silica powders were characterized with field-emission scanning electron microscopy; Brunauer, Emmett and Teller and BJH nitrogen gas adsorption/desorption methods; Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy; thermogravimetric and differential analysis; N2 physisorption isotherm; pore size distribution and particle size analysis. There was a significant effect of drying technique on the textural properties, such as specific surface area, pore size distribution and cumulative pore volume of the mesoporous silica powder. Additionally, the effect of the microwave-drying period on the physicochemical properties of the precipitated mesoporous silica powder was investigated and discussed. 相似文献

The ferroelectric ceramics Ba5RTi3V7O30 (R=Ho, Gd, La) have been synthesized by solid-state reaction technique. Preliminary X-ray structural analysis confirmed a single-phase formation of the compound in orthorhombic structure. Surface morphology of the compounds was studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Detailed studies of electrical properties (i.e., dielectric constant, loss tangent, ac conductivity) as a function of temperature (RT-773 K) and at four different frequencies (1 kHz, 10 kHz, 100 kHz and 1 MHz) show ferroelectric–paraelectric phase transition of the compounds of diffuse-type. The activation energy has been evaluated from ac conductivity following Arrhenius equation. An SIR epidemic model with time delay, information variable and saturated incidence rate, where the susceptibles are assumed to satisfy the logistic equation and the incidence term, is of saturated form with the susceptibles. This model exhibits two bifurcations, one is transcritical bifurcation and the other is Hopf bifurcation. The local and global stability of endemic equilibrium is also discussed.
