The reactions of Ar'GaGaAr' (Ar' = C(6)H(3)-2,6-(C(6)H(3)-2,6-(i)Pr(2))(2)) with alkenes revealed the addition of two olefins per Ar'GaGaAr' under ambient conditions for ethylene, propene, 1-hexene and styrene but no reactions with more hindered or cyclic olefins.  相似文献

The multidomain dual reciprocity method (MD‐DRM) has been effectively applied to the solution of two‐dimensional thermal convection problems where the momentum and energy equations govern the motion of a viscous fluid. In the proposed boundary integral method the domain integrals are transformed into equivalent boundary integrals by the dual reciprocity approach applied in a subdomain basis. On each subregion or domain element the integral representation formulas for the velocity and temperature are applied and discretised using linear continuous boundary elements, and the equations from adjacent subregions are matched by additional continuity conditions. Functional enhancements to the WebCom metacomputer are described which give rise to dynamic reconfigurability and extendability of the computer platform. Component modules and interactions are described, with particular attention to the communications module that enables dynamic reconfigurability. The machines of the metacomputer can be configured to act in client/server or peer to peer mode on a number of interconnection topologies such as NOWs, Clusters or Grids. This paper addresses the dynamically extendable machine structure of WebCom facilitated by this new communications structure. This work presents a boundary integral equation formulation for Stokes nonlinear slip flows based on the normal and tangential projection of the Green's integral representational formulae for the velocity field. By imposing the surface tangential velocity discontinuity (slip velocity) in terms of the nonlinear slip flow boundary condition, a system of nonlinear boundary integral equations for the unknown normal and tangential components of the surface traction is obtained. The Boundary Element Method is used to solve the resulting system of integral equations using a direct Picard iteration scheme to deal with the resulting nonlinear terms. The formulation is used to study flows between curved rotating geometries: i.e., concentric and eccentric Couette flows and single rotor mixers, under nonlinear slip boundary conditions. The numerical results obtained for the concentric Couette flow is validated again a semianalytical solution of the problem, showing excellent agreements. The other two cases, eccentric Couette and single rotor mixers, are considered to study the effect of different nonlinear slip conditions in these flow configurations. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A new method for direct analysis and visualization of one-dimensional heat flow patterns in an arbitrarily layered impulse-heated solid is presented. This analysis is based on the Method of Images in which the surface temperature/time response is described as the superposition of a free medium temperature field and additional image field contributions which account for the effects of thermal reflection and damping at subsurface interfaces. Through the introduction of a simple set of constraint rules, all sequences of thermal reflection and transmission at sample interfaces which return significant energy to the material surface in a given observation time may be systematically mapped and directly visualized.  相似文献

The evolution of a single long wave of finite amplitude at the interface of two immiscible fluids of different viscosities and densities, between two horizontal plates is solved, using a boundary layer flow approximation for the equation of motion in each fluid layer. It is found that when the nonlinear inertial effects are taken into account in a moderate manner, at least in the frame of the boundary layer approximation, the initial unperturbed flow with smooth interface is stable to a single wave perturbation at the interface, even in the presence of adverse density and viscosity stratifications. However, when the nonlinear effects are increased in a specific way, and the magnitudes of the parameters involved are kept within the order of magnitude established for the present theory, an unstable flow configuration can be obtained.  相似文献

It is predicted that a gap of 2μE/312 appears in the dispersion potential for a pair of ground-state (identical) atoms, or molecules, at distance R such that ?δ + (4π?0)?1(μ23R3)(1 ? 3 cos2θ) = 0, where μ is the electric dipole moment, E is the field strength of an intense radiation field and θ is the angle between the polarization direction of the field and R. The detuning term Δ is ω0?ω where ω0 is the transition frequency of the atom or molecule, and ω is that of the field.
