A homologous series of 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alkyl ethers (DCBEs) have been synthesized and purified for use as retention index calibrants and internal standards. They are stable, sensitive to ECD and FID and ideal for GC-MS, with base peaks at m/z 159/161. The retention index calibration against the n-alkanes for a linear temperature program (LTP) series is given and recommendations made for the most suitable members of the DCBE series for use as internal standards in organochlorine (OC) residue analysis.  相似文献

Phenol and five acyclic isomeric compounds have been investigated using electron impact and field ionization techniques, mass analysed ion kinetic energy spectrometry and collision induced dissociation mass analysed ion kinetic energy spectrometry. The kinetic energy release data corresponding to the elimination of carbon monoxide from the molecular ions show that at least two structures of the reactant ion are involved. The electron impact and field ionization collision induced dissociation mass analysed ion kinetic energy spectra indicate that under electron impact conditions, the phenol ion partially isomerizes to another ion structure. An isomerization of about 40% to the structure of cis-2-hexen-4-yn-1-al is in good accordance with the spectral data.  相似文献

Autoxidations of cis,cis, cis,trans, and trans,trans nonconjugated octadecadienoates and pentadecadienes were carried out in the presence of alpha-tocopherol to investigate the effect of olefin geometry on this oxidation process and provide insight into the factors that influence the autoxidation of fatty acids. We have found that as the trans character of the diene increases, the amount of O(2) trapping at the central (bis-allylic) position of the pentadienyl radical also increases. In addition, the rate constant for beta-fragmentation (k(beta) approximately 10(6) s(-1)) of the bis-allylic peroxyl radical decreased on going from the cis,cis to the trans,trans diene. We have also found that for the cis,trans nonconjugated dienes, there is a preference for trapping of the pentadienyl radical by O(2) at the transoid end, generating the cis,trans conjugated hydroperoxide as the major product.  相似文献

A series of air- and water-stable tertiary phosphine-stabilized arsenium salts of the type R(3)P-->AsR(2)(+)PF(6)(-) has been isolated. In the crystal structures of two chiral triarylphosphine complexes of prochiral methylphenylarsenium hexafluorophosphate, the stereochemistry around arsenic is trigonal pyramidal with the phosphorus atom occupying the apical position, the As-P bond being orthogonal to the plane of the trigonal (lone-pair included) arsenium ion: Ph(3)P-->AsMePh(+) PF(6)(-), P2(1)/c, a = 10.7775(2) A, b = 17.7987(3) A, c = 13.3797(2) A, beta = 109.066(1) degrees, V = 2425.78(7) A(3), T = 200 K, Z = 4; Ph(2)(2-MeOC(6)H(4))P-->AsMePh(+) PF(6)(-), P1, a = 10.8077(2) A, b = 10.9741(2) A, c = 13.5648(2) A, alpha = 99.0162(9) degrees, beta = 105.2121(9) degrees, gamma = 116.4717(9) degrees, V = 1318.11(5) A(3), T = 200 K, Z = 2. The arsenium ion in each case appears to be further stabilized by conjugation of the lone pair with the phenyl group, with which the arsenic and methyl-carbon atoms are almost coplanar. In the crystal structure of the 2-(methoxymethylphenyl)diphenylphosphine adduct of methylphenylarsenium hexafluorophosphate, there operates a counteractive chelate effect in which anchimeric oxygen coordination to arsenic destabilizes the arsenic-phosphorus bond in the six-membered chelate ring. Although they are stable, phosphine-stabilized arsenium salts undergo rapid phosphine exchange and attack at arsenic by anionic carbon and oxygen nucleophiles to give tertiary arsines and arsinous acid esters, respectively, with liberation of the phosphine.  相似文献

QUENCHING OF CHLOROPHYLL FLUORESCENCE BY NITROBENZENE   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Abstract—Nitrobenzene quenching of chlorophyll fluorescence in ethanol has been investigated. Steady state relative quantum yields have been measured and fluorescence decay rates were determined using both nanosecond photon counting and picosecond pulses from a mode-locked Nd3+ glass laser.
The fluorescence decay is described by
1( t )= I 0 exp (- t/τ−At1/2 )
the form predicted for decay governed by the kinetics of the continuum model of diffusion controlled reactions. From the parameters of the fluorescence decay, the encounter distance is 5–7 A° the mutual diffusion coefficient is 0.62 × 10--5 cm2s-1± 12%.
Some of the fluorescence quenching is also attributed to static quenching by a nitrobenzene-chlorophyll, ground-state complex. The equilibrium constant for formation of this ground-state complex was determined to be 4.1 M -1. The combined dynamic and static quenching model allows calculation of quantum yields of fluorescence in good agreement with the experimentally determined quantum yields.  相似文献

X-ray astronomy and ground-based atomic physics have a long history of fruitful collaboration: Sound understanding of the underlying atomic physics is the key to reliable interpretation of the spectra from celestial sources; conversely, astronomical spectra have been used to benchmark and advance atomic physics. This interplay is about to become even more important as we enter a new era of high-resolution X-ray astrophysics with large effective collection area. Although high-resolution observations with the gratings on the Chandra and XMM-Newton observatories continue to drive new science, upcoming planned and proposed missions will open up new discovery space in the near future that is currently challenging to access: high-resolution spectroscopy on extended sources, in the Fe K band, and on short time scales. This review summarizes open questions in these areas and the design parameters for the Hitomi, XRISM, Athena, and Arcus observatories. The expected high quality of spectra taken with these observatories puts new constraints on the accuracy of atomic reference data required to take full advantage of the diagnostic potential of these spectra.  相似文献
