Our present technological society needs the assistance of lanthanide luminescence in almost every field to meet the global energy demands. In present research work we have synthesized five (one binary and four ternary) 5-(4-methylphenyl)-2- furoic acid based Eu(III) complexes with ancillary ligands, namely, aqua (H2O), neocuproine (neo), 2, 2’-bipyridyl (bipy), bathophenanthroline (batho) and 1, 10-phenanthroline (phen). The spectroscopic analysis and photophysical features are characterized by the use of different investigative techniques. All the findings obtained from EDAX, elemental (CHN) analysis, FT-IR, NMR, UV–visible spectroscopy declared the coordination of ligand binding sites with the europium ion. These Eu(III) complexes possess good thermal stability and excellent optoelectronic features as predicted with the help of TGA and PL analysis. Diffuse reflectance spectral studies confirm their applications in the wide band gap semiconductors. The Judd–Ofelt analysis and monoexponential behavior of lifetime reveals the existence of asymmetric and single local environment around europium ion. All the complexes show sharp red emission validated by CIE color coordinates, color purity, asymmetric ratio and CCT values. SEM analysis tells that the bulk of these complexes comprised of spherical shaped particles with uniform distribution.
We investigate the effect of frequency mismatch in two indirectly coupled Rössler oscillators and Hindmarsh–Rose neuron model systems. While identical systems show in-phase or out-of-phase synchronization states when coupled through a dynamic environment, mismatch in the internal frequencies of the systems drives them to a fixed point state, i.e., amplitude death. There is a region in the parameter space of the frequency mismatch and coupling strength where system shows amplitude death. A problem of two equal, semi-permeable, collinear cracks, situated normal
to the edges of an infinitely long piezoelectric strip is considered. Piezoelectric strip
being prescribed out-of-plane shear stress and in-plane electric-displacement. The
Fourier series and integral equation methods are adopted to obtain analytical solution
of the problem. Closed-form analytic expressions are derived for various fracture
parameters viz. crack-sliding displacement, crack opening potential drop, field intensity
factors and energy release rate. An numerical case study is considered for poled
PZT−5H, $BaTiO_3$ and PZT−6B piezoelectric ceramics to study the effect of applied
electro-mechanical loadings, crack-face boundary conditions as well as inter-crack distance
on fracture parameters. The obtained results are presented graphically, discussed

An efficient and viable synthesis of α-ketoesters from alkyl halides and α-carbonyl aldehydes has been reported under metal-free conditions. The present method involves oxidative esterification of α-carbonyl aldehydes with alkyl halide using TBAI as a promoter and TBHP as an oxidant to form α-ketoesters in good to excellent yields with versatile structural diversity. We have investigated the pressure-induced phase transition of InX (X = P, As, Sb) from Zinc-Blende (ZB) to NaCl structure by using realistic interaction potential model involving the effect of temperature. This model consists of Coulomb interaction, three-body interaction and short-range overlap repulsive interaction upto the second nearest neighbor involving temperature. Phase-transition pressure is associated with a sudden collapse in volume, showing the incidence of first-order phase transition. The phase-transition pressure is associated with volume collapses, and the elastic constants obtained from the present model indicate good agreement with the available experimental and theoretical data. 相似文献
Thermal decomposition of oligo-1,4-bis(silyl)-5-propyl/phenylbiguanides, 1–4 under controlled conditions (130–140 °C/N2) proceeds predominantly via the formation of organic amines, cyclic silazanes and cyclic silylcarbodiimides. Detection of these low molecular weight products accounts for the low residual yields in thermogravimetric analysis of 1–4. A plausible mechanism for thermal degradation is suggested. 相似文献
The total synthesis of the 14-membered resorcylic acid lactone neocosmosin A is described. The key step in the synthesis is the palladium-catalyzed α-arylation of TES-enol ethers of enones. The employment of the α-arylation approach to this class of resorcylic acid lactones is a new approach, which has the scope of being generalized into a unified approach for the synthesis of this class of natural products. 相似文献
