We present a Mössbauer study of a S = 0 ground state magnetic Fe(III)-dimer in the presence of an applied 5 T longitudinal magnetic field, between 7.6 and 33 K. The values obtained for the isomer shift and the quadrupolar splitting are comparable with the ones of Fe(III) ions coordinated to eight oxygen ions. Regarding the spin dynamics, both intramultiplet and intermultiplet transitions are considered. In the chosen temperature range the rate of the former transitions is constant, within the errors, while the rate of the latter ones quickly increases with the temperature. 相似文献

Simarinolide and Guanepolide are new quassinoids with a C25 basic skeleton isolated from a member of the French Guyanan Simaroubaceae, Simaba cf orinocensis H.B.K. This paper presents new experimental results on thermal field and heat transfer in a two-dimensional annulus between horizontally eccentric cylinders. The study is conducted by means of optical techniques, for 1.07×104≤Ra L≤8.27×104 and a wide eccentricity range. The horizontal eccentricity of the inner cylinder substantially alters the thermal field and the geometry of the plume, but, in analogy to the behaviour for vertical eccentricity, the average Nu is slightly affected in the investigated range of eccentricity. The concentric geometry is also considered mainly to validate the experimental technique and evaluate the accuracy of the adopted methodology by comparison with available results. Both shearing interferometer and reference beam interferometer are obtained by means of Wollaston prisms with appropriate splitting angles, so that the temperature and local Nu distributions may be evaluated quantitatively from the original pictures via digital image processing. 相似文献

We report on the simultaneous observation, by delayed Bragg diffraction, of four- and six-wave mixing processes in a coherently prepared atomic ensemble consisting of cold cesium atoms. For each diffracted order, we observe different temporal pulse shapes and dependencies with the intensities of the exciting fields, evidencing the different mechanisms involved in each process. The various observations are well described by a simplified analytical theory, which considers the atomic system as an ensemble of three-level atoms in Λ configuration. 相似文献

We measured the momentum dependence of magnetic excitations in the model spin-1/2 2D antiferromagnetic insulator Sr2CuO2Cl2 (SCOC). We identify a single-spin-wave feature and a multimagnon continuum, with different polarization dependences. The spin waves display a large (70 meV) dispersion between the zone-boundary points (π, 0) and (π/2, π/2). Employing an extended t-t'-t'-U one-band Hubbard model, we find significant electronic hopping beyond nearest-neighbor Cu ions, indicative of extended magnetic interactions. The spectral line shape at (π, 0) indicates sizable quantum effects in SCOC and probably more generally in the cuprates. 相似文献

A thorough study was performed on Gd-doped sol-gel silica glasses, in the concentration range 0-8 mol% Gd. The analyses were carried out as a function of Gd content, before and after a post-densification thermal treatment. Different results concerning optical, vibrational, magnetic, and structural features were gathered in correlated experiments. The presence of Gd-rich nanoclusters was revealed. The size of nanoclusters increases by increasing the dopant concentration and by performing a rapid thermal treatment (RTT) at 1800 °C in air, which causes also a remarkable intensity increase of the 6P7/2 → 8S7/2 radioluminescence transition of Gd3+. Nanoclusters are amorphous, possibly close to a Gd2SiO5 stoichiometry as suggested by fast Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). FTIR studies revealed also the presence of Gd-dimers interacting with OH− groups. Moreover, the presence of isolated Gd3+ ions was detected by electron paramagnetic resonance investigations. Based on the results obtained with different techniques, the Gd-incorporation in silica glass host and the resulting optical properties are discussed. 相似文献

The time fractional diffusion equation is obtained from the standarddiffusion equation by replacing the first-order time derivative with afractional derivative of order (0, 1). From a physicalview-point this generalized diffusion equation is obtained from afractional Fick law which describes transport processes with longmemory. The fundamental solution for the Cauchy problem is interpretedas a probability density of a self-similar non-Markovian stochasticprocess related to a phenomenon of slow anomalous diffusion. By adoptinga suitable finite-difference scheme of solution, we generate discretemodels of random walk suitable for simulating random variables whosespatial probability density evolves in time according to this fractionaldiffusion equation. 相似文献
