[structures: see text] A general access to a novel class of sugar alpha-amino acids composed of iminofuranose and iminopyranose residues anomerically linked to the glycinyl group through an alkyl chain is described. A set of eight compounds was prepared by the same reaction sequence involving as an initial step the Grubbs Ru-carbene-catalyzed cross-metathesis (CM) of various N-Cbz-protected allyl C-iminoglycosides with N-Boc-vinyl- and N-Boc-allyloxazolidine. The isolated yields of the CM products (mixtures of E- and Z-alkenes) varied in the range 40-70%. Each mixture was elaborated by first reducing the carbon-carbon double bond using in situ generated diimide and then unveiling the N-Boc glycinyl group [CH(BocNH)CO2H] by oxidative cleavage of the oxazolidine ring by the Jones reagent. All amino acids were characterized as their methyl esters. The insertion of a model C-iminoglycosyl-2-aminopentanoic acid into a tripeptide via sequential carboxylic and amino group coupling with L-phenylalanine derivatives was carried out as a demonstration of the potential of these sugar amino acids in designed glycopeptide synthesis.  相似文献

A strain of Fusarium oxysporum was isolated from grapevine showing heavy decline disease in a vineyard of Veneto region in Italy. The fungus showed to produce phytotoxic metabolites when grown in liquid culture. The main metabolite was identified as fusaric acid produced for the first time as a phytotoxin by a strain of F. oxysporom isolated from diseased grapevine plants. Its quantification in the fungus cultures filtrates was accomplished by HPLC. When tested on tobacco by leaf-puncture assay fusaric acid at 0.5 mg/mL induced the formation of extensive necrosis.  相似文献

The (13)C NMR CP-MAS spectrum of 2-naphthylphenylsulfoxide in the solid state displays line broadening effects due to the restricted rotation about the Ph-S bond. Line shape simulation of the temperature-dependent traces allowed the corresponding barrier to be determined in the solids (14.7 kcal mol(-1)). By making use of the information obtained from single-crystal X-ray diffraction, this barrier could be satisfactorily reproduced by theoretical calculations (14.5 kcal mol(-1)) that take into account the correlated phenyl motion involving a large set of molecules in the crystalline state  相似文献

The complex formation of Co(II) and Cd(II) with mixed N/O ligands in dimethylsulfoxide (dmso) at 298 K is investigated by means of potentiometric, UV-Vis, calorimetric, FT-IR, NMR and electrochemical techniques. The linear and cyclic ligands investigated are: 2,2'-oxydiethylamine (NON), N-(2-hydroxyethyl)-ethylenediamine (NNO), 1,4,10-trioxa-7,13-diaza-cyclopentadecane (2,1) and 1,4,7,10-tetraoxa-13-azacyclopentadecane (2,2). The results are discussed by taking into account the donor strength of donor atoms, strain effects in the formation of chelate rings, steric and inductive effects and the size of the cavity when macrocyclic ligands are concerned. DFT studies are also performed to gain an insight into the stabilization of the lower oxidation state of the CoL2(2+/3+) couple in order to understand the different reactivity of the Co(II) complexes towards dioxygen. The kinetics of dioxygen uptake has been studied by UV-Vis measurements and the results reveal an interesting strong solvent effect, which is active in lowering the rate constant for formation of the initial superoxo complex.  相似文献

The analysis ofPbassociated with air aerosols by its accumulation through electrostatic precipitation directly in a graphite tube, which is subsequently used as an atomizer in electro thermal atomization-atomic absorption spectroscopy (ETA-AAS), has already been tested and found very convenient for its simplicity and speed. However, its use as a practical and useful method of analysis was hampered by the necessity of a laborious and difficult calibration with high risks of systematic errors. These difficulties can be bypassed by resorting to an absolute or standardless method of analysis. Standardless methods of analysis have been proposed for ETA-AAS measurements and recently applied toCdandHg.With the use of a new and more powerful power supply this method has been extended toPbso that a very easy, fast, and almost on line way of measuring the level ofPbin air aerosols is possible. The system presented in this paper is manually operated but its automation, in order to obtain an automatic control station, is only a matter of convenience.  相似文献

Chiroptical properties of several 2 or 3 monosubstituted azetidines, pyrrolidines and piperidines as free bases and N-[2-pyridyl N-oxide] derivatives has been examined. The absolute configuration can be unambiguously established, independently on the nature of the substituent and the size of the ring, only for 2-substituted N-[2-pyridyl N-oxide]amine derivatives. This behaviour is explained in terms of limited rotational freedom in these compounds.  相似文献

The previously known anion [(C6F5)3B(mu-OH)B(C6F5)3]- (2) has been prepared by a two-step procedure, involving deprotonation of (C6F5)3BOH2 to give [B(C6F5)3OH]- (1), followed by addition of B(C6F5)3. The solution structure and the dynamics of 2 have been investigated by 1H and 19F NMR spectroscopy. The reaction of [NHEt3]2 with NEt3 resulted in the formation of [NHEt3]+ [(C6F5)3BOH]-, [NHEt3]+ [(C6F5)3BH]-, and (C6F5)3B- (CH2CH=N+ Et2). This indicates that in the presence of a nucleophile anion 2 can dissociate to B(C6F5)3 and 1. The reaction of [HDMAN]2 with 1,8-bis(dimethylamino)naphthalene (DMAN) confirmed this trend. In the presence of water, 2 transformed into the adduct [(C6F5)3BO(H)H...O(H)B(C6F5)3]- (3), containing the borate 1 hydrogen-bonded to a water molecule coordinated to B(C6F5)3. The same compound is formed by treating (C6F5)3BOH2 with 0.5 equiv of a base. A competition study established that for 1 the Lewis acid-base interaction with B(C6F5)3 is about 5 times preferred over H-bonding to (C6F5)3BOH2. The X-ray single-crystal analysis of [2-methyl-3H-indolium]3 provided the first experimental observation of an asymmetric H-bond in the [H3O2]- moiety, the measured O-H and H...O bond distances being significantly different [1.14(2) vs 1.26(2) A]. The reaction of NEt3 with an equimolar mixture of B(C6F5)3 and bis(pentafluorophenyl)borinic acid, (C6F5)2BOH, afforded the novel borinatoborate salt [NHEt3]+ [(C6F5)3BOB(C6F5)2]- ([NHEt3]4). X-ray diffraction showed that the B-O bond distances are significantly shorter than in [(C6F5)3B(mu-OH)B(C6F5)3]-. Variable-temperature 19F NMR revealed high mobility of the five aryl rings, at variance with the more crowded anion 2. 2D NMR correlation experiments showed that in CD2Cl2 the two anions [(C6F5)3BOH]- and [(C6F5)3BH]- form tight ion pairs with [NHEt3]+, in which the NH proton establishes a conventional (BO...HN) or an unconventional (BH...HN), respectively, hydrogen bond with the anion. The diborate anions 2-4, on the contrary, gave loose ion pairs with the ammonium cation, due both to the delocalized anionic charge and to the more sterically encumbered position of the oxygen atoms that should act as H-bond acceptors.  相似文献

A neutron diffraction study of the complex RuCl(2)[PPh(2)(2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3))](2) (1) defines the precise nature of the delta agostic interactions between the unsaturated metal center and two o-methyl groups of the xylyl substituents. The CH(3) carbon atoms lie in the RuP(2) equatorial plane with Ru...C distances of 2.637(7) and 2.668(6) A, whereas four short Ru.H distances (from 2.113(11) to 2.507(11) A) indicate that each methyl group interacts with two C-H bonds. A survey of the X-ray structures with beta, gamma, delta, and epsilon M...H(3)C-C moieties (no neutron data have been previously reported) shows a linear correlation between the angle M.C-C and the torsion of the methyl group about the C-C bond. Thus, the agostic interactions span the range between the classical (M...eta(2)-HC) and the nonclassical (M...eta(3)-H(2)C) types. A solution study of 1 shows intramolecular rearrangement of each xylyl substituent that equilibrates the environments of its two ortho CH(3) groups. Activation parameters, evaluated from the analysis of (1)H NMR line shape as a function of temperature, are Delta H(++) = 9.6 +/- 0.2 kcal mol(-1) with Delta S(++) = -15.4 +/- 0.7 eu (CDCl(3)). The related 14-electron complexes RuX(2)[PPh(2)(2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3))](2) (X = I, 2; NCO, 3), prepared from 1 and NaX, show a similar dynamic process in solution, with the iodo derivative displaying the most hindered rotation of the xylyl group. A DFT optimization of the complex RuCl(2)[PH(2)(2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3))](2) (1a) reproduces well the nonclassical Ru...eta(3)-H(2)C agostic mode, whereas the classical Ru...eta(2)-HC one corresponds to a transition state 1b, destabilized by 3.4 kcal mol(-1). A similar barrier (ca. 3.8 kcal mol(-1)) is calculated for the xylyl rotation in the further simplified model RuCl(2)[PH(2)(2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3))][PH(2)CH[double bond]CHCH(3)] (1c), the absence of bulky phenyl substituents being largely responsible for the difference with respect to the experimental value. Finally, the MO analysis addresses the intrinsic stability of the 14-electron complex RuCl(2)(PH(3))(2) and, in agostic complexes, accounts for the different interactions between the methyl group and the metal atom in relation to the length of their interconnecting chain.  相似文献
