The reaction mechanism underlying the photoinduced linkage isomerization of discrete arsenic-sulfur clusters in the realgar form of tetraarsenic tetrasulfide (alpha-As4S4) to its pararealgar form was studied on a natural specimen of the mineral with a combination of in situ single-crystal X-ray photodiffraction and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The photodiffraction technique provided direct atomic resolution evidence of formation of intermediate As4S5 phase in which half of the realgar molecule is retained in its envelope-type conformation, while the other half is transformed by effective switching of positions of one sulfur and one arsenic atom. The initiation and propagation stages of the process are studied under light and dark conditions, during and after photoexcitation with polychromatic visible light. In the "light" reaction stage, the interatomic and cell parameters averaged over the crystal volume and photoexcitation time remain almost unchanged. The residual electron density features are indicative for formation of a small amount of As4S5 clusters, which at this stage do not affect the overall crystalline order. In the "dark" reaction stage, a set of self-sustainable autocatalytic reactions results in strong and nearly isotropic expansion of the unit cell. The structure in the dark stage represents direct evidence of formation of pararealgar which was obtained in yield of about 5% in the single crystal of realgar. The cell expansion is due to increased mole ratio of clusters of pararealgar relative to realgar and to increased intercluster separation. Due to lattice incompatibility, a higher content of the product results in progressive decrease of crystal quality. Creation of small amount of arsenolite (As2O3) which appears as byproduct in the light stage and remains unreacted in the product mixture was confirmed by far-IR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Mesoporous metal oxides (CeO(2-δ))-YSZ have been synthesized by a versatile direct synthesis method using ionic cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) and different nonionic (block copolymers) as surfactants and urea as hydrolyzing agent. The synthesis was realized at pH=9 using tetraethylammonium hydroxide (TEAOH) as pH mediator. Calcination at 550 °C led to the formation of crystalline metal oxides with uniform mesoporosity. The obtained materials have been characterized by thermogravimetric analysis (TG-DTG), wide and small-angle X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, Brunauer, Emmett and Teller (BET) surface area analysis, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). All the obtained materials exhibits mesoporous structure, crystalline structure indexed in a cubic symmetry, showing a high surface area, a uniform and narrow pore size distribution, spherical morphology typical for the mesoporous materials. The crystalline and mesoporous structures, surface chemistry and stoichiometry for the samples synthesized using ionic and nonionic surfactants have been discussed.  相似文献

Sparsity constrained deconvolution approaches for acoustic source mapping   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Using microphone arrays for estimating source locations and strengths has become common practice in aeroacoustic applications. The classical delay-and-sum approach suffers from low resolution and high sidelobes and the resulting beamforming maps are difficult to interpret. The deconvolution approach for the mapping of acoustic sources (DAMAS) deconvolution algorithm recovers the actual source levels from the contaminated delay-and-sum results by defining an inverse problem that can be represented as a linear system of equations. In this paper, the deconvolution problem is carried onto the sparse signal representation area and a sparsity constrained deconvolution approach (SC-DAMAS) is presented for solving the DAMAS inverse problem. A sparsity preserving covariance matrix fitting approach (CMF) is also presented to overcome the drawbacks of the DAMAS inverse problem. The proposed algorithms are convex optimization problems. Our simulations show that CMF and SC-DAMAS outperform DAMAS and as the noise in the measurements increases, CMF works better than both DAMAS and SC-DAMAS. It is observed that the proposed algorithms converge faster than DAMAS. A modification to SC-DAMAS is also provided which makes it significantly faster than DAMAS and CMF. For the correlated source case, the CMF-C algorithm is proposed and compared with DAMAS-C. Improvements in performance are obtained similar to the uncorrelated case.  相似文献

Two strong bands centered at 446 and 607 cm−1 have been observed in the FT‐Raman spectrum of almandine [Fe3Al2(SiO4)3] excited with 1064 nm, which were completely absent in the corresponding dispersive Raman spectra obtained using 488, 514.5 and 532 nm excitation. Furthermore, the mentioned strong bands have not been registered in the anti‐Stokes side of the FT‐Raman spectrum, and were therefore assigned to laser‐induced fluorescence bands. Their appearance is related to the presence of rare‐earth element traces as impurities in the almandine sample. Additionally, the FT‐Raman (and dispersive Raman) spectrum of the isomorphous spessartine [Mn3Al2(SiO4)3] mineral has been introduced, which did not show the presence of these fluorescence emission bands.
