Experimental investigation of the interaction of internal flow with external flow around hollow airfoil NACA series in a low-speed wind tunnel was conducted and is presented in the paper. The region near the trailing edge of the hollow airfoil was studied in detail and measurements of velocity and turbulence intensities were performed with hot-wire anemometry. Determination of flow structure on the hollow airfoil was performed with computer-aided visualization. It can be concluded from the measurement analysis that higher values of velocities, lower turbulence intensities and a significant decrease of circulation effects on the suction side of the hollow blade were achieved, due to the introduction of internal flow. The results obtained on the hollow airfoil were applied on the rotating axial fan. Influence of the internal flow of the hollow blade on the flow field of the axial fan was studied. With the introduction of the internal flow a reduction of circulation effects on the fan hollow blade was achieved. Aerodynamic characteristic of the axial fan reached higher degree of total pressure difference and normalized efficiency through the entire fan working conditions.  相似文献

Sonochemistry is a branch of chemistry where sound energy in the form of ultrasound is used to influence the course of reactions. A short-term, local increase in temperature occurs when the solutions and suspensions are irradiated by ultrasound. This happens because the substance absorbs the ultrasound waves. The purpose of this research was the synthesis of CdS and CdSe nanoparticles. We used cadmium sulfate hydrate (CdSO4·8/3H2O), elemental S and Se. Aqueous solutions of NaOH, Na2SO3 and EDTA were used as the solvents.During the syntheses, we used a direct immersion ultrasound probe by vibracell. The device operates with a constant frequency of 20 kHz, with the possibility to change the amplitude and with it the input of energy to the time unit. The products were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), thermal analyses (TGA, SDTA) and TEM analyses.  相似文献

We study the phenomenon of stochastic resonance in a system of coupled neurons that are globally excited by a weak periodic input signal. We make the realistic assumption that the chemical and electrical synapses interact in the same neuronal network, hence constituting a hybrid network. By considering a hybrid coupling scheme embedded in the scale-free topology, we show that the electrical synapses are more efficient than chemical synapses in promoting the best correlation between the weak input signal and the response of the system. We also demonstrate that the average degree of neurons within the hybrid scale-free network significantly influences the optimal amount of noise for the occurrence of stochastic resonance, indicating that there also exists an optimal topology for the amplification of the response to the weak input signal. Lastly, we verify that the presented results are robust to variations of the system size.  相似文献

We study the spatial dynamics of noise-induced waves in two-dimensional excitable media in dependence on the duration of the artificially imposed refractory time that is introduced to each constitutive system unit after an excitation. Due to the introduction of refractory times, a randomly induced spatial wave is temporarily unable to transmit information to the opposite site of its propagation direction. Thus, once the wave leaves the absorbing boundaries of the spatial grid the system has little or no recollection, depending on the duration of the refractory time, of its existence. We show that even in the presence of such memory loss, self-organization of excitatory events leads to noise-induced spatial periodicity in the media. We present a simple analytical treatment of a two-unit system to capture and explain the essence of the observed phenomenon. Since refractory times are widespread in biological systems, our results provide interesting insights into functioning of real-life organisms at the cellular as well as tissue level.  相似文献

Two or more physical systems frequently interact with each other, where the independent solution of one system is impossible without a simultaneous solution of the others. An obvious coupled system is that of a dynamic fluid-structure interaction. [8] In this paper a computational analysis of the fluid-structure interaction in a mixing vessel is presented. In mixing vessels the fluid can have a significant influence on the deformation of blades during mixing, depending on speed of mixing blades and fluid viscosity. For this purpose a computational weakly coupled analysis has been performed to determine the multiphase fluid influences on the mixing vessel structure. The multiphase fluid field in the mixing vessel was first analyzed with the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code CFX. The results in the form of pressure were then applied to the blade model, which was the analysed with the structural code MSC.visualNastran forWindows, which is based on the finite element method (FEM). Cover-incomparability graphs (C-I graphs, for short) are introduced, whose edge-set is the union of edge-sets of the incomparability and the cover graph of a poset. Posets whose C-I graphs are chordal (resp. distance-hereditary, Ptolemaic) are characterized in terms of forbidden isometric subposets, and a general approach for studying C-I graphs is proposed.
