An investigation of low-lying energy levels of 130Pr and 130Ce has been made via β-decay. The radioactive parent nuclei were produced via 94,96Mo + 40Ca reactions at 6.8 MeV/nucleon and transported by a He-jet system. Gamma-γ-t, γ-X-t, γ-e--t coincidence measurements were performed. Internal conversion coefficients have been measured with a magnetic spectrometer.
The new β-decay half-life of 130Nd has been determined to be 21(3) s. A partial level scheme of 130Pr at low-spin has been constructed. The β-decay of 130Pr to 130Ce suggests the existence of three β-instable isomeric states in 130Pr, while only one half-life T
1/2 = 40(4) s has been measured. Based on the present work and low-lying excited states in neighbouring odd-mass nuclei, the
spins and parities of isomeric states in 130Pr are proposed to be 2+, (4,5)+ and (7,8±). The ground state in 130Pr is still undetermined.

We address the dynamics of entanglement transfer from
two radiation modes to a pair of localized qubits implemented as
atoms flying through or trapped in separated cavities. We first
generalize previous results to include radiation in entangled
mixed states and to describe the effect of cavity mirror
transmittance. Then we investigate the transfer process by Monte
Carlo Wave Function approach, which allows us to solve the whole
system dynamics including cavity mode and atomic decays. We focus
on flying modes prepared in coherently correlated states and we
find realistic conditions for efficient entanglement transfer out
of the weak and strong coupling regimes in the perspective of

We report measurements of the de Haas-van Alphen effect in CeIn(3) in magnetic fields extending to approximately 90 T, well above the Néel critical field of mu(0)H(c) approximately 61 T. The unreconstructed Fermi surface a sheet is observed in the high magnetic field polarized paramagnetic limit, but with its effective mass and Fermi surface volume strongly reduced in size compared to that observed in the low magnetic field paramagnetic regime under pressure. The spheroidal topology of this sheet provides an ideal realization of the transformation from a "large Fermi surface" accommodating f electrons to a "small Fermi surface" when the f-electron moments become polarized. 相似文献

It is shown how the recently developed Hadamard expansion procedure can be applied to the hyperasymptotic evaluation of Laplace-type integrals containing a large variable when the phase function has a cluster of close-lying saddle points. The modification to this procedure that is required when the saddles in the cluster coalesce to form a single higher-order saddle is discussed. An example is also considered in which there is both a coalescence of saddles and a Stokes phenomenon as the phase of the large variable is allowed to vary. In this paper, the performance of the variable weight multiple pulse-position modulation (MPPM) coding technique in an atmospheric optical communication environment under gamma-gamma optical scintillation is analyzed, proposing a closed-form expression for the average bit error rate (BER). This study is based on a hyperexponential fitting of the conditional BER in absence of turbulence fluctuations, leading to closed-form expressions that characterize the behavior of this nonlinear coding scheme. Pb1−xSmxTiO3 (PST) powders with x varying from 0 to 0.1 were obtained by the polymeric precursor method, a soft chemical route. The vibrational properties relating tetragonal to pseudo-cubic phase transition were studied by Raman spectroscopy. The results obtained showed that the phase transition is extremely dependent upon the samarium content and presents a diffuse behavior. Monitoring of the oxygen 2p and titanium 3d orbitals was performed by the periodic mechanical quantum method, revealing the changes that occur with the distribution and contribution of the hybrid orbitals due to the samarium influence. 相似文献
