We study the spin-polarized current through a vertical double quantum dot scheme. Both the Rashba spin–orbit (RSO) interaction inside one of the quantum dots and the strong intradot Coulomb interactions on the two dots are taken into account by using the second-quantized form of the Hamiltonian. Due to the existence of the RSO interaction, spin-up and spin-down electrons couple to the external leads with different strengths, and then a spin polarized current can be driven out of the middle lead by controlling a set of structure parameters and the external bias voltage. Moreover, by properly adjusting the dot levels and the external bias voltages, a pure spin current with no accompanying charge current can be generated in the weak coupling regime. We show that the difference between the intradot Coulomb interactions strongly influences the spin-polarized currents flowing through the middle lead and is undesirable in the generation of the net spin current. Based on the RSO interaction, the structure we propose can efficiently polarize the electron spin without the usage of any magnetic field or ferromagnetic material. This device can be used as a spin-battery and is realizable using the present available technologies.  相似文献

A new way to enhance the directional stability of laser beams with alternating intensity by fast feedback control of both linear and angular drifts has been proposed for alignment of laser beams at higher accuracy. Both linear and angular drifts of laser beams, processed through light intensity modulation and primary alignment using single-mode optical fiber (SMOF), are separated using light path arrangement and detected using phase-lock technique, and are controlled using fast feedback control mechanisms according to their detected magnitudes, so that both linear and angular drifts are suppressed to enhance the directional stability of the emitting laser beams. Theoretical analyses and preliminary experimental results indicate that the approach proposed can be used to achieve an alignment accuracy of more than 10−8 rad.  相似文献

The observations of three-photon-induced frequency-upconversion fluorescence and the highly directional stimulated visible emission in two dyes, 4-[p-(dicyanoethylamino) styryl]-N-methylpyridinium iodide (abbreviated as CEASP) and the complex of CEASP and Ce(NO3) (abbreviated as CEASP-Ce), are reported. The photographs of the forward amplified spontaneous emissions spots, pumped by an optical parametric oscillator idler with a pulse width of 8 ns and a wavelength of 1.3 μ m, are shown. The upconversion fluorescence produced both in dimethyl formamide solution and 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) polymer spans from green to red, with a cubic dependence on the pump light intensity. The experimental results imply that the existence of the lanthanide ion Ce3 + sensitizes the nonlinear absorption and emission.  相似文献

After the nontrivial quantum parameters Ω n and quantum potentials V n obtained in our previous research, the circumstance of a real scalar wave in the bulk is studied with the similar method of Brevik and Simonsen (Gen. Rel. Grav. 33:1839, 2001). The equation of a massless scalar field is solved numerically under the boundary conditions near the inner horizon r e and the outer horizon r c . Unlike the usual wave function Ψωl in 4D, quantum number n introduces a new functions Ψωl n , whose potentials are higher and wider with bigger n. Using the tangent approximation, a full boundary value problem about the Schrödinger-like equation is solved. With a convenient replacement of the 5D continuous potential by square barrier, the reflection and transmission coefficients are obtained. If extra dimension does exist and is visible at the neighborhood of black holes, the unique wave function Ψωl n may say something to it.  相似文献

First-principle calculations based on density function theory (DFT) are used to clarify the roles of γ-Fe2O3 in fly ash for removing mercury from coal-fired flue gases. In this study, the structure of key surface of γ-Fe2O3 is modeled and spin-polarized periodic boundary conditions with the partial relaxation of atom positions are employed. Binding energies of Hg on γ-Fe2O3 (0 0 1) perfect and defective surfaces are calculated for different adsorption sites and the potential adsorption sites are predicted. Additionally, electronic structure is examined to better understand the binding mechanism. It is found that mercury is preferably adsorbed on the bridge site of γ-Fe2O3 (0 0 1) perfect surface, with binding energy of −54.3 kJ/mol. The much stronger binding occurs at oxygen vacancy surface with binding energy of −134.6 kJ/mol. The calculations also show that the formation of hybridized orbital between Hg and Fe atom of γ-Fe2O3 (0 0 1) is responsible for the relatively strong interaction of mercury with the solid surface, which suggests that the presently described processes are all noncatalytic in nature. However, this is a reflection more of mercury's amalgamation ability.  相似文献

To develop novel inhibitors of ketol-acid reductoisomerase, a series of (oxdi/tri)azoles derivatives was synthesized and characterized by (1)H NMR, MS, elemental analyses, and crystallography. According to the biological activities of these compounds obtained both in vivo and in vitro, compound 4-cyclopropyl-3-((4-fluorobenzyl)thio)-5-methyl-4H-1,2,4-triazole showed excellent KARI inhibitory activity (100% at 100?μg?mL?(-1) in vitro). In addition, most of the title compounds exhibited good herbicidal activity against Brassica campestris in vivo.  相似文献

A polymer volume grating-based four-channel coarse wavelength division multiplexer (WDM) for inter- and intra-satellite optical communication application is reported for the first time. This compact four-channel WDM device working at 0.83, 1.06, 1.34 and 1.55 μm is designed to build a complete optical link between two satellites, where wavelengths of 0.83 and 1.55 μm are used for data stream channels, 1.06 and 1.34 μm are used for inter- and intra-satellite connection. It is for the first time reported that a WDM device can cover such a large wavelength range in a single substrate. For transverse electric (TE) wave, the channel efficiencies at 0.83, 1.06, 1.34 and 1.55 μm are 55%, 40%, 35% and 45%, respectively. Channel efficiencies for transverse magnetic (TM) waves are 20% lower than those of TE waves on average. Wavelength shifts due to Doppler effect, temperature variations and radiation effects in space can be adequately accommodated.  相似文献

系统研究了表面润湿法合成β沸石的体系中,干晶种、润湿态晶种、异晶晶种(Y沸石、ZSM 5沸石)以及碱处理β沸石晶种在此晶化体系中的作用.采用β沸石产品及异晶作晶种时,可使产品的相对结晶度稍有提高,但对沸石微晶核的结构导向作用不明显.经浓碱液处理20min后的β沸石产品(碱处理晶种)作晶种引入晶化体系后,可以显著提高产品的相对结晶度,降低模板剂的用量,缩短晶化诱导期,成为表面润湿法合成β沸石体系的有效晶种形式.  相似文献
