The Fourier transform gas-phase IR spectrum of natural isotopic 1,2,5-selenadiazole, C2H2N2Se, has been recorded with a resolution of ca. 0.0025 cm−1 in the wavenumber region 600-1400 cm−1. The three a-type bands, ν2 (A1), ν4 (A1), ν5 (A1), the two b-type bands ν11 (B1), ν12 (B1), and the c-type band ν14 (B2) for each of the isotopologues C2H2N280Se and C2H2N278Se have been analyzed using the Watson model. Ground state rotational and quartic centrifugal distortion constants as well as upper state spectroscopic constants have been obtained from the fits. The rotational constants, harmonic and anharmonic frequencies, and vibration-rotation constants (alphas, ) have been predicted by quantum chemical calculations using a cc-pVTZ basis at the MP2 and B3LYP methodology levels, and compared with the present experimental data. Although the rotation constants are marginally closer to experiment from the MP2 calculations, in general the B3LYP frequencies and alphas are closer to experiment.  相似文献

Measurements of the elastic constant c33 for Tb-50% Ho, as a function of temperature and magnetic field, have been used to determine the magnetic phase diagram of the alloy. Evidence for the four phases:paramagnetic, spiral spin antiferromagnetic, fan and ferromagnetic are presented. The true ferromagnetic phase is only found below 100 K even in fields of up to 7 Tesla.  相似文献

The heartwood of T. guayacan has yielded tectol and a new, novel dibenz-xanthene derivative (guayacanin). The structure of guayacanin suggests its biogenetic derivation through the condensation of prenylnaphthalene quinols. The tetrahydro derivative of the xanthene was synthesized by an analogous acid catalyzed reaction of prenylnaphthalene quinol derivatives of lapachol and 1,4 naphthalene diol.  相似文献

Steady-state mass transfer experiments were done to determine whether certain strains of bacteria in homogeneous suspension will accumulate at the gas:liquid interface and thereby significantly increase the oxygen transfer rate to the suspension. In particular, with suspensions ofB. licheniformis, the measured transfer rates are as much as three times the rate expected for a uniform suspension. In contrast, suspensions ofM. luteus show no increase in oxygen flux above expected values. The fact thatB. licheniformis is motile, whereasM. luteus is not suggests that cell motility may play an important role in the accumulation process.

Heterogeneous fluorescence immunoassays have been automated using flow injection manifolds incorporating thiophilic gel solid phase reactors to separate antibody-bound and unbound analyte molecules. Antibody elution is achieved by changes in ionic strength, thus allowing the use of pH sensitive fluorescent labels. This facilitates the development of dual analyte systems, in which two competitive immunoassays with separate labels are monitored in parallel. Detection of the fluorophores by high speed synchronous fluorescence scanning while the flow is briefly stopped utilises either one synchronous interval which detects both fluorophores, or two separate scans at different wavelength intervals, one for each fluorophore. Simultaneous analyses of serum albumin and transferrin exemplify these novel approaches. Spectroscopic interferences are very small, analyte recoveries are close to 100%, with a relative standard deviation of 5-6% and a sampling rate of 20 h-1.  相似文献

A novel polymeric pseudostationary phase for electrokinetic chromatography is introduced and characterized. Siloxane polymers are of interest for this application because of the range of chemistries that could be developed based on these backbones, and because successful development of siloxane polymers would make it possible to employ much of the stationary phase chemistry developed in the past thirty years. A commercially available water-soluble siloxane with a hydroxy-terminated alkyl group was converted to the sulfate derivative. This siloxane polymer is water-soluble, effectively eliminating this limitation associated with siloxane polymers. When employed as a pseudostationary phase, this compound provided rapid, efficient, and selective separations. The electrophoretic mobility of the polymer was less than sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) and poly(sodium 10-undecenylsulfate), providing a compressed migration time range, which is the main limiting factor for this polymer. The chemical selectivity of the siloxane sulfate was somewhat different than SDS micelles. The siloxane was employed in buffers modified with a large amount of acetonitrile to separate a number of polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons. The addition of acetonitrile caused an apparent discontinuity in the electrophoretic mobility of the polymer, which may indicate a change in the structure with increasing organic solvent content.  相似文献
