Changes in the chemical composition of lichens exposed to pollutants are investigated by means of FTIR spectroscopy. According to model experiments, alkyl nitrates, ammonium salts, amines, and sulfones develop in the lichen thallus through the action of ammonia and nitric and sulfuric acids. Spectroscopic data of modeling experiments enabled nitrogen- and sulfur-containing substances to be identified as the main air pollutants in the vicinity of a pig-breeding complex and information to be obtained on the content of the pollutants and their impact on the lichens.  相似文献

A novel supramolecular thixotropic gel based on low-concentration aqueous solutions of L-cysteine and silver nitrate is synthesized. Self-organization and gel formation in the system of interest is studied by means of UV and IR spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, dynamic light scattering, and rotational viscometry. A model of the supramolecular gel is suggested. Possible applications for medicinal purposes are considered.  相似文献

The effect of angles of attack in the interval 0 40° on the flow pattern and the aerodynamic characteristics of a body of power-law shape (equation of the generator in the cylindrical coordinate system r=zn, n=0.125) is investigated for supersonic flow without injection and with intense subsonic localized injection from the surface. As a result of numerical calculations it is established that the use of Newton's theory for determining the coordinates of the gas stagnation point behind the shock in flow past an impermeable body of the shape in question leads to serious errors, and an expression for determining the location of this point is given. It is shown that for three-dimensional flow the flow pattern and the surface pressure distribution are sharply different from the case=0. It is established that on the parameter interval in question intense injection considerably reduces the aerodynamic drag without loss of static stability, which is important in connection with the solution of the problem of gas-stable aircraft control.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 5, pp. 95–101, September–October, 1987.  相似文献

This paper concerns the basics of using longwave (low-frequency) Raman spectroscopy in the region of a longitudinal acoustic mode for the study of structural features of polymers. Using ultrahighmolecular- weight polyethylene (UHMW PE)-based reactor powders, gels, and oriented fibers obtained by the gel technology, the length distribution of straight-chain segments and its relation to the morphology of the sample were analyzed. An important role of the low-frequency Raman spectroscopy in creating domestic gel technology for preparing ultrahigh-strength threads from polyethylene was demonstrated.  相似文献

Publications dedicated to cyclic oligoesters based on cyclic butylene terephthalate were analyzed and summarized. The features of their preparation and structure and their properties were considered with a special focus on advantages and disadvantages of the methods of their preparation: polycondensation at high dilution and depolymerization. The prospects of application of cyclic butylene terephthalate for polymer nanocomposite production were demonstrated. A development strategy for this research area was suggested.

A model for calculating the flow of a turbulent mixture of air and suspended liquid particles injected into the near-wall region is developed within a unified approach of mechanics of heterogeneous media in the two-velocity and two-temperature approximation of the Eulerian approach. Gelation in dilute aqueous L-cysteine solutions containing various electrolytes is studied by rotational viscometry in different dynamic regimes. It is revealed that gels are formed at rather low concentrations of cysteine of no higher than 0.1 vol %. In the linear range of mechanical actions, gels of all examined compositions behave as elastic solid-like media; their elastic moduli, which lie in a range of 10–100 Pa, are independent of frequency and their mechanical losses are low. However, these gels exhibit dualistic properties and can flow at low shear stresses with a Newtonian viscosity on the order of 103–105 Pa s. On reaching a critical stress (yield point), gels are destroyed, their viscosity decreases by six to seven decimal orders of magnitude, and they are transformed into low-viscosity liquids. At rest, the initial structure and properties are recovered. Mechanisms of percolation network formation are proposed.  相似文献
