Electroluminescence in anthracene doped by its derivative 1-chloroanthracene at dopant concentrations 10?3, 10?4 and 10?5 mole % has been reported with and without matrix. At low frequency of the exciting electric field the variation of the brightness is linear with the voltage but at higher frequencies (500–2000 Hz) the relation B = BOexp [? CV12] fits better with the observations. The decrease in the electroluminescence brightness with increase in the dopant concentration suggests the trapping action of dopant energy levels where nonradiative recombination predominates.  相似文献

The index PI is a graph invariant defined as the summation of the sums of edges of n eu and n ev over all the edges of connected graph G, where n eu is the number of edges of G lying closer to u than to v and n ev is the number of edges of G lying closer to v than to u. A simple, reproducible and efficient reverse phase high performance liquid chromatographic method has been developed for the determination of rutin in whole plant powder of Amaranthus spinosus Linn. The analysis was done with Waters Cosmosil C18 column (150 × 4.6 mm i.d., 5 μm particle size) as stationary phase at a wavelength of 361 nm for detection and determination. The proposed HPLC method was validated for linearity, accuracy, precision and limit of quantitation.  相似文献

The objective of present work was to enhance the solubility and bioavailability of poorly aqueous soluble drug Irbesartan (IBS). The solid dispersions were prepared by spray drying method using low viscosity grade HPMC E5LV. Prepared solid dispersions were characterized by dissolution study, fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and X-ray diffraction studies (XRD). Results of the SEM, DSC and XRD study showed the conversion of crystalline form of IBS to amorphous form. The dissolution rate was remarkably increased in case of solid dispersion compared to pure IBS. Solubility and stability of solid dispersion was increased due to surfactant and wetting property, slowing devitrification and having anti-plasticization effect of HPMC E5LV. In vivo studies were performed in healthy rabbits (New Zealand grey) and compared with plain IBS. Solid dispersions showed increase in relative bioavailability than the plain IBS suspension. In conclusion, the prepared solid dispersions showed remarkable increase in solubility, dissolution rate and hence bioavailability of poorly water soluble drug Irbesartan.  相似文献

The cerium(IV) ammonium nitrate (CAN)‐catalyzed sequential multicomponent reaction between tryptamine, α,β‐unsaturated aldehydes, and β‐dicarbonyl compounds affords highly substituted indolo[2,3‐a]quinolizines in a single synthetic operation. Two rings are generated through the creation of two C? C and two C? N bonds by a domino process comprising initial β‐enaminone formation, followed by individual Michael addition, 6‐exotrig cyclization, iminium formation, and Pictet–Spengler steps. Furthermore, the reaction is diastereoselective and affords exclusively compounds with a trans relationship between the H‐2 and H‐12b protons. The use of amines bearing a less nucleophilic side chain aromatic ring (5‐bromotryptamine, 3,4‐dimethoxyphenylethylamine) prevents the Pictet–Spengler final step and leads to N‐indolylethyl or N‐phenylethyl‐1,4‐dihydropyridines, which are cyclized to the corresponding indolo[2,3‐a]quinolizines or benzo[a]quinolizines in the presence of HCl in methanol/water. Treatment of the fused quinolizine derivatives with sodium triacetoxyborohydride led to the corresponding indolo[2,3‐a]quinolizidines or benzo[a]quinolizidines, possessing four stereogenic centers, as mixtures of two diastereomers.  相似文献

Evanescent wave configuration has been extensively used in the development of fiber-optic sensor for different biomedical applications. In the present investigation we have theoretically proposed the designing of single-mode and multimode optical fiber sensing probes, which can be prepared by removing a few centimeters of cladding near the distal end of the step index optical fiber. In this theoretical study, we found that the removal of cladding causes V-number mismatching and this has led to the loss of signal acquisition from the sensing region. Therefore, to minimize these losses we have proposed to reduce the radius by step etch and tapering technique. It was found that step etching and tapering enhances the strength and penetration depth of the evanescent wave significantly.  相似文献

The present paper describes quantitative structure-activity relationships (QSARs) formulated for a series of phosphoramidothioate (Ace II) analogs. The k(e) values for Ace II-induced inhibition of fly-acetylcholinesterase as well as LD50 for housefly exposed to Ace II analogs were governed by distance-based topological as well as information theoretic indices. In addition, we have also modeled lipophilicity of the phosphoramidothioates used. Excellent results are obtained in each case. The predictive ability of the models were discussed on the basis of cross-validated parameters.  相似文献

The distance-based topological indices viz Wiener (W)-, Szeged (Sz)-, Padmakar-Ivan (PI)- and Sadhana (Sd)-indices have been used for estimating aromatic stabilities as well as % benzene character of polyacenes and helicenes. Excellent models are obtained in combined set and there was no need to split the data set into polyacenes and helicenes. The newly introduced Sd index was found the best index among all the four indices used. In bi-parametric modeling with the combination of the Sd index with the PI index yielded excellent results. The results are discussed critically on the basis of variety of statistical parameters.  相似文献
